Chapter 10

Nue finally arrived with Yamato. The blonde haired girl and narrow eyes went straight to the Kitsune who was lying helplessly. Her eyes then glanced at Taka. There were many questions in her head about what had happened.

"Yamato, you can go home. Take Raku with you."

Yamato just nodded his head and turned to look at Raku after Taka finished speaking. They immediately disappeared a few seconds later.

"Hehehehe, Ninja."

Taka laughed while staring at the place where Yamato was standing before.

"Oh yeah, she intended to attack. So, Akuma hit her. She asked me about the reason you came with me."

"Ah, I see. I understand, sir."

Nue turned towards the still unmoving Kitsune. She gripped the girl's hand tightly. Then, Taka asked Raku to get a bandage. And when Raku left, he healed Kitsune.

"Well, now she's fine. No more problems."

He then stood up, looked at Kitsune and Nue. Then, smile.

"You look alike."

Nue just looked at Taka with a confused face. Then Kitsune tried to stand up, and made Nue immediately remember that her friend had just fallen helplessly.

"You, take her to my apartment with Akuma. You can live there with Yamato and the others."

"Yes, I understand, sir."

Nue immediately picked up the Kitsune and took her away. Behind her, Akuma returned to his human form as he followed them.

After they left, Taka then walked towards his class followed by Rinko behind him.

"Your classes will start soon, sir."

"I know. And I'm on my way to my class."

"Aah, I see. Fine."

"Oh yeah, Rinko. Make sure the kids are okay."

"You mean, sir?"

"The kids who saw what happened earlier. I want you to check on them."

"Okay, I'll do it."

Rinko then stopped and bowed her body, while Taka continued walking towards his class.

A week later, a national martial arts competition. The annual competition held by Takahashi High School, where Taka studied. Everyone is ready. Neither the audience, nor the participants. They are enthusiastic about the annual event.

Hearing Nue's words, Taka immediately lost his enthusiasm. He then turned around and left the place. Along with grandpa Sai who also disappeared from where he stood.

Outside the arena, Yamato looked at Taka who was walking towards him. He knew, Taka would do something from his gaze. He then looked at Nue who was walking behind Taka.

"I want to take a rest."

That's all Taka said. Then, he left the place. Immediately, Yamato ran towards Nue while pulling out his katana which he hid behind his arm.

"What are you doing?"

A vengeful gaze shot out of Yamato's eyes. He choked Nue and lifted her small body. Even his grip was too strong for Nue.

"Yamato, stop it."

Ayakashi immediately held Yamato's hand before he went too far. He looked at Yamato while shaking his head.

"If he dies, Mr. Taka will finish you too. In fact, me, Raku and the others. You forgot? We can't fight each other."

"But, this child!"

"Stop it. I know what you mean. But don't go too far."

Ayakashi then looked at Nue who was trying to breathe after Yamato releasing the grip of his hand from Nue.

"And you, great. It will be dangerous if Mr. Taka gets too excited. But, use other means. It seems, you poured water into a burning fire."

"A, a, Cough! Cough! I understand."

"Very nice."

Yamato then returned the katana he was holding, And his facial expression returned to normal.

"Come on."

Ayakashi then left the place. Followed by Yamato and Raku. Meanwhile Nue tried to stand up and follow them.

"You forgot, huh? They don't care about humans. They will do anything as long as Mr Taka is happy."

Akuma then left the girl with the others.
