15 The So-called Cultivation

After Jiang Tao left in a huff, Hou'er came in front of him with a worried look plastered on her face. Narrowing his eyes, he funneled psionic energy in his body and channeled them into his every cell. Under his guidance, the rich energy filtered through the outer layer of his cells and entered inside. The cells died but soon returned and then died again. This continued until the new cell no longer died with the number of psions he was allowed to enter.

"So it's possible!" Jiang Jie smiled happily. With the strengthening of cells, his physical body also strengthened many times. He found that currently, his physical body was strong enough to puncture a hole in a concrete wall, which was a far cry from his earlier physical strength. He would always use the psions around him through his brain waves and manipulate everything. But it was the first time he allowed it to enter his body in such pure form. Until now he had never thought of this or even tried to do this. He always thought that doing so was just a waste of time and psionic energy.

But after coming to this world, he found a new way to strengthen his physical body. Cause from Old man Ye's memories, he had already seen people capable of tearing dimensional walls with their physical force alone, with bare hands. "Again! Continue…" Jiang Jie smiled and repeated what he had done just now. He started to funnel the psionic energy into his cells and made them die and rebirth again and again. Jiang Jie didn't know this, but what was doing was actually how a body cultivator cultivates usually, but there's wasn't this pleasant.

Cultivators were two types, one is normal Qi cultivators, who would absorb the qi from the surrounding and store them in their dantian and use it in time of need. While another type would be the body cultivator, instead of storing them in their dantian, they prefer to scatter it throughout their body and make it stronger instead. But this process is extremely painful and slow, generally for a body cultivator to break through, they need thrice the time than a qi cultivator.

But the benefits out weight this loss. Each and every one of body cultivator could jump their realms and fight equally with someone of a higher realm of cultivation as them. So even if their breakthrough was slow, they didn't mind it much. But to cultivate one's body requires resources that could make one's soul fly out of their body and pain that could make one's scalp numb just by watching. As such less than 2% of total cultivators try the body cultivation. Even then they would stop after Core Formation and switch to qi cultivation since they were unable to endure pain and afford the cost of the resources.

Jiang Jie didn't know this, he only felt that since it was making his physical body stronger, he would do it until he was satisfied. Soon, within a few minutes, his physical body's cultivation started to rise from 1st stage Body tempering, then 2nd stage, third…fourth…it continued until he reached the 9th stage. After that, he felt that his body had entered a saturation state. No matter how much he repeats the process, there was no change. The psions would just enter his cell and stay there, bringing no change to it.

"Hou'er, what happened?" he asked in worry. If this girl were really bullied, he would definitely take revenge. He wasn't Jiang Chao who lacked strength, he was Jiang Jie, a powerful ESPer. Even if the opponent were a supreme expert, he would still not let them go.

Using her small hands, Hou'er did some hand signs. Jiang Jie understood her meaning and took a breath of relief. So she was not bullied, it was actually the Fang Family's entourage that arrived. Jiang Jie sighed as he took in a breath of relief.

"Why are you panicking? No need for you to panic like that. Go, just do your duty." Jie said with a smile before standing up in a grandiose manner. Hou'er nodded and left peacefully. With her young master like that, there was no need for her to be worried. Suddenly the ground beneath him cracked as Jie felt like stepping on something squishy. Looking down he found the hard floor had already sunk down a little from his body strength alone.

"Ho! So this is the advantage of having a powerful body. Nice." Jie smiled as he tried to adjust his strength. A few seconds later he had already gotten used to his overwhelming strength. Now he could walk normally without fear of cracking the ground. Nodding his head, he looked back towards the cracked floor and snapped his finger. The floor magically mended itself as if someone had reversed the time. Soon a smooth and hard floor was revealed, like how it was before he cracked it.

"Mm, now it's good." Nodding his head once more, he stepped out of the room and walked through the silent hallways towards the main hall. Usually, the guests would be welcomed there. As he walked closer to the main hall, he found nearly every person in the Jiang house were gathered in there as they watched the guests. The hub-hub also attracted Jiang Jie's interest as he hastened his steps towards them.
