34 The calamity of Misty Pearl Pavilion Part 2

-The calamity of Misty Pearl Pavilion Part 2-

"Hey, you know senior brother Xuan from Snow Peak?" the disciples of Misty Pearl Pavilion sect were going through their days like every day. Some were cultivating in secret, some were completing sect missions, some were lazing around while others were gossiping about various matters.

"You mean that Xuan Yu who blitzed through outer sect disciple to core disciple in just a year and defeated all the core disciples to become the true disciple of sect master, that senior Brother Xuan?" another disciple wearing the same attire as the earlier instantly recognized the topic of conversation. Both of them were outer sect disciple with the cultivation of 2nd Stage Soul Tempering realm.

As a disciple of 6-star sect, the requirements are very stringent. Those who have reached fifth layer body tempering realm before the age of 15 were eligible to apply for the sect while they have to break through to Soul Tempering realm in next five years in order to stay as a disciple of the sect. Talent and hard work, as a disciple of such big sects, they couldn't miss out on either.

"Yeah, him! Do you know, rumors going on that he had successfully broken through Nascent Soul realm last month when he came out of his seclusion of 2 years." The first disciple exclaimed.

"What? Really? How did you know?" the second disciple had an expression of disbelief as he tried to digest what his fellow disciple just revealed. They both were currently walking towards the Sect Mission Hall to get some easier missions for quick contribution points. In a large sect like these, the monthly stipend wasn't even close to enough for the cultivation of these disciples. To make up for that and to buy more resources, they have to complete these sect missions and earn contribution points. These contribution points could be exchanged for precious medicines, pills, weapons, armors, treasures, and even lectures from renowned elders.

To these cultivators, contribution points were even more valuable than gold or silver.

"Haha! You know I am a part of the True Martial Alliance, found by brother Deng Tai!"

"Yes!"

"What you don't know is that Deng Tai actually belong to the camp of Senior brother Xuan and this True Martial Alliance was actually backed by him. Last night when brother Deng Tai returned from their monthly meeting, he shared this information with everyone and asked us to spread it around."

"Really? Brother Guo, can I join your True Martial Alliance too?" the first disciple suddenly assumed a smiling and cordial pose as he asked to the other one.

"Haha! Yi De! Joining our alliance isn't easy nowadays." Brother Guo smiled as he stroked his chin with a glint in his eyes as if he was hinting something.

"Speak brother Guo what you wish. As long as it is within my capacity, I can give it to you?" how couldn't Yi De didn't understand what this brother Guo meant. His smile widened as he asked very politely so as to not offend this brother Guo at this crucial moment.

"Haha! Its nothing much. Just that I have seen that devoted servant of yours back in your hut, so I wonder what's her name?" as he asked these, brother Guo's eyes started to give out a strange light. Something this Yi De was very much acquainted with.

"Ahem! Brother…about that servant…ahem!" showing a bitter smile, Yi De tried to say something but couldn't as the words struck to his throats every time he wanted to say it.

Seeing Yi De's actions, brother Guo thought he was being mocked and denied. Giving off a snort, he strode forwards arrogantly while leaving behind the words "Hmph! If you don't want, then it's fine. It's not like I am forcing you to."

"Wait! Brother Guo…It's not that I declined. It's just that, the servant working for me…its actually a 'he.' He is a male, although he looked even more beautiful and delicate than a girl, he is actually a male down to his 'that' part. Although it's quite small." With a bitter shout, Yi De ran after him.

"Ahem!" just as he was about to chase after that brother Guo, Yi De suddenly heard someone clearing his throat near him. Turning around, he found a guy wearing scholar's outfit standing a few meters away from him. He was looking very gentlemanly with his short black hair and white robes. But when he scanned him with his Soul sense, he discovered that the cultivation of this boy was only that of a 9th stage Body Tempering realm.

Discretely leaving out a breath, a flash of disdain appeared on his face. Abandoning all thoughts of being polite, he came towards him in big strides. He had nothing to fear. In a sect, the thing that matters most was, strength, coming close second would be connections. As a very knowledgeable person of the sect regarding mundane matters, Yi De was sure that this person was not one from this sect and with his soul sense, he had confirmed that this boy's strength was also very mediocre, at least for someone of his age.

'I can afford to be arrogant here!' Thinking of this, Yi De stood in front of the scholarly looking man, and with his hands, he grabbed his collar and lifted him up in the air. After that, he looked at the scholar in the eye, trying to see fear and desperation that he had hoped would appear.

Unfortunately, he was gravely mistaken.

The one he was holding like a ragdoll was none other Jiang Jie, the dimensional traveler ESPer.

"Is this how people greet each other in your sect?" being hung like a ragdoll, Jie asked unconcerned of everything. Its as if he wasn't on a choke-hold by a man he had never met in his life.

"Shut up! Who are you, and how did you come inside our sect without detected?" Yi De shouted loudly, spraying saliva at Jie's face. But what he didn't notice was before saliva could even touch Jie's face, they would vanish into thin air.

"My name is Jiang Jie. Nice to meet you!" Jiang Jie answered politely. On instinct, Yi De was just about to say 'nice to meet you too!' but he stopped himself in the last second and exploded in extreme anger instead.

"Shut up! Who wants to meet you? Just tell me how did you enter the premise of our sect? You cannot be a disciple as I have never seen you here. Are you a spy from a rival sect?" despite knowing that this weak scholar was neither, Yi De simply wanted to have some fun and maybe blow away some steam he accumulated from last few minutes of conversation with that incomparably arrogant brother Guo.

"Yes, I am not a disciple. And no, I am also not a spy. Can you kindly show me the way to sect master's chambers? I have some important matters to talk with him." Jie still didn't lose his polite demeanor. It's not out of respect or fear, rather sheer hunger for some fun. He wanted to thoroughly humiliate this arrogant man who dared to grab hold of his collar. He wanted to first lead him on by the nose, making him think that he was just a weak scholar. Later, when he wreaks havoc around this sect, he would enjoy the shocking gaze of this man. For a few seconds, he even wanted to act like an evil villain.

Jie was already prepared for a battle. The thing he was here for was literally a part of a thousand years of plans and many sacrifices. How could a sect give up on such an item just like that? Not to mention this sect was barely holding into the palace of a 6-star sect list, how can it simply give up on a chance to soar to skies alongside other four sects?

"Huh! What? Sect master? Is he even a person, the likes of you, could meet in this lifetime? Don't dream in the middle of the day. You are indeed, a spy. I must get rid of you as soon as possible."
