1 Prologue

Sitting at the top of Eiffel Tower, Jiang Jie sighed in boredom. His apathetic eyes peered into the night sky as it landed on the white floating object that is the moon. For anyone, the moon is like an object associated with various myths. Poets and writers would often use it as a metaphor for describing beautiful girls.

But to him, it was nothing but a lump of floating rock. He was sure even NASA would agree with him.

His eyes reflected no curiosity or longing towards it. Others may find it to be an unreachable place, but to him, it's not.

Today was a very painful day for him. For the first time in his life, he proposed to a girl he liked but instead of agreeing the girl rejected him mercilessly. That too in the front of so many bystanders. It really hurt his feelings.

In depression, he left the school at that moment and came all the way to this Eiffel tower to drown in his sadness. Unfortunately, due to being underage, he couldn't drink or else he would have already dead drunk.

Jiang Jie had never known his parents, he was grown up with his grandma. According to her, his parents died in a plane accident when he was very small to remember anything. And last year, his grandmother also died after reaching an age of 79.

Character-wise, Jiang Jie wasn't a brooding individual. But he was a shut-in, giving endless headaches to his class teacher who had refused to give up on him. It had, in turn, gave him endless headaches.

He did have a reason to be a shut-in. Most people don't know this, but on the earth, there lived a specific group of individuals who had supernatural powers. These peoples are called ESPers. Who are ESPers?

They are the individuals who had access to Psionic energy, a form of energy originated from their minds. Using this energy, they manage to do many things like flying, manipulating elements and so on. There were also some strange powers like seeing the future.

Jiang Jie belonged to this group of individual. But compared to others, his powers are a bit special. It was so unusual that it could no longer be explained by the existing laws regarding ESPers.

There are times when his power goes haywire affecting everything in his surroundings. Fixing it later becomes a headache for him, as such, he became a shut-in to prevent it from happening. Unfortunately, his class teacher didn't know it and hence always insists on attending her classes.

There are times when Jiang Jie was very much tempted to use his powers on her and be done with it. But as he liked her very much, he never did so.

After much insistence, he had gone to school regularly this semester. And there he met a very beautiful girl, whom he wanted to propose but could never do so. Finally, gaining enough courage, he did so today but was rejected brutally by her.

In depression, he decided to sit here and drown in his sorrows while drinking soda.

Just as he was about to take another sip, suddenly his eyes widened in astonishment. The reason for that being a spatial tear that opened in the middle of the sky like an eye.

"What is that?" he couldn't help but mutter while looking at it.

Old Demon Ye was a very renowned cultivator in Devine Wind Continent. Not only he was very talented genius of his generation, but he was also very ruthless. The fact that none of his enemies were alive today including their families was a testament to the fact of how brutal was this man.

After breaking through to the Domain Lord realm, he secluded himself to understand the worldly laws around him. After thousands of years of bitter cultivation, he finally succeeded in understanding the spatial laws, one of the Divine laws. After that, he used another thousand years to fully digest his understandings and consolidate his domain.

It was a known fact that the life expectancy of a Domain Lord realm was 10000 years, so a mere 2000 year was nothing to him.

One day while cultivating he suddenly felt a spatial fluctuation around him. Using his understanding of laws, he concentrated on it and miraculously found this world. What made him flabbergasted was the fact that this world doesn't have any cultivators despite its abundance in qi.

Although it couldn't compare to Divine Wind continent in size, its qi concentration was several times more than there. After discovering this place, he immediately set out for here. He wanted to make this place his secret cultivation location. The complete absence of cultivators was a boon to him too, no one would compete with him for the qi, everything would be his.

He estimated that if he cultivates here for a thousand year, he would undoubtedly breakthrough to Creation Realm.

The cultivation in Divine Wind continent was divided into many parts. The first part being Body tempering, it has 9 stages. Then comes soul tempering, it has 5 stages. After that would be core formation, it had 3 stages. Then would be Nascent Soul, it has 3 stages. Then comes Domain Lord, it has 3 stages. After that Creation Realm, it also has 3 stages.

Old Monster Ye was a rare genius who only used a thousand year to breakthrough to the Domain Lord realm. There are also people who couldn't do so even after trying whole their life. In Devine Wind continent a Domain Lord was treated as the top existence, not only because of their strength but also because of their life expectancy.

After opening a spatial tear to this mystical place, he followed it and came out. Taking a deep breath, he greedily absorbed the vast amount of qi in the air. If one could see qi with their eyes, they would have seen it funneling towards old monster's body.

Thinking that no one would be able to stop him if he does so, he simply closed his eyes and absorbed greedily. But suddenly his eyes widened as he felt someone standing in front of him.

'Has someone followed me to here?' Thinking of this possibility, he opened his eyes to look for the culprit. As a Domain Lord, he needn't fear anyone below his cultivation. But his eyes widened when he saw a weirdly dressed young man floating in midair in front of him.

He was somewhat surprised but not overly so. From the moment one breakthrough to the Core Formation stage, they would be able to fly in the air. So it wasn't a surprise that this young man was able to fly. But in his excitement and arrogance, he had completely forgotten that this place wasn't Devine Wind Continent, someone flying here wasn't a common thing.

He sent a disdainful look towards the young man before returning to his earlier actions.

Seeing a weirdly dressed old man coming out of the spatial crack, Jiang Jie forgot about his heartbreak and floated up there. He curiously looked on as suddenly the old man started absorbing the active energy in the environment to his body.

Even as an ESPer he had never seen anyone using this active energy directly. Maybe it was due to the unique characteristics of ESPers that used the psionic power that was a level higher than this active energy.

But he didn't disturb the man. Instead, he observed him intently. After a few seconds suddenly he(the weird old man) opened his eyes and disdainfully looked at him(Jiang Jie) then ignored him again, pissing off Jiang Jie. Although mild tempered, JJ hated it when he was being ignored the most. And right now this weird man had done exactly that.
