33 Calamity of Misty Pearl Pavilion part 1

-The calamity of Misty Pearl Pavilion-

After hearing everything about this secret realm, Jie fell into silence as he pondered about things and decide about his next course of action. According to Qianjin, the handouts at the martial tournament was actually fake, and the real one was already at the hands of previous time's sects. Aside from Qianjin's sect, there were 4 other sects who held the key.

Though what left him thinking was if he should really find trouble with a huge sect. Although he was very confident in his abilities, he was just too unsure about the powers of this realm. Especially those at the top. From Old monster Ye's memories, he found that Domain Lord was absolutely not a boundary. In fact, until Creation Realm, which was considered the highest cultivation realm one could reach in Divine Wind continent, everything else was still considered building the foundation.

Can he really fight against them? If it was one against one, he had absolute confidence. But if he were to be ganged up, things would be difficult for him. Even if he didn't die, he would still endure some bitter defeat.

Jie knew as an ESPer, his intelligence would heavily affect the usage of his powers. Not only that, he needs to perfectly calculate every single detail if he wanted to use his power to full potential. Unfortunately, his main source of powers was dimensions and portals. Human science had limited knowledge about dimensional related stuff. Even so, with his relentless hard work, he somewhat managed to control his ever-increasing power. Currently, he could borrow the psions from a dimension one level higher than his current dimension and use them to alter everything in the lower dimensions. But he knew it wasn't his absolute limit. In fact, it wasn't even his true ability, just a small part of the whole.

Looking at Qianjin, he asked, "Which sects have the remaining keys?"

"Aside from our Blood Sect, there is Heaven Sword sect, Mountain Hermit Sect, Flower Fairy Garden and Misty Pearl Pavillion. They all were the winners of the keys thousand years ago." Qianjin narrated the names of all the five sects. At the mention of a familiar sect's name, Jie raised an eyebrow and contemplated over something.

After mulling over for a few more seconds, he asked another question "Which one is the weakest among all these sects?"

"Ah! If we consider pure fighting power, the Flower Fairy sect should be weakest. But that sect usually stayed away from all the mundane matters. Not only that, the sect have marital relation with many other sects, making it the one with one of the most contacts. There was also rumor that a young master of a 7-star sect is going to take a core disciple of the sect as his first concubine. Excluding that one, the second weakest should be Misty Pearl Pavillion. Not only the set master is a Nascent soul stage expert. The sect only had 3 domain lord Elders. It barely qualified to be a 6-star sect. If not for the presence of 4th Grade alchemist Guan Lun, others would have long since kicked it out of the ranking." Qianjin who knew the extensive power structure of all the five sects explained without leaving behind any details.

"Huh! Alchemist? You mean the ones who create pills that could help in cultivation as well as act as a doctor? What did he have to do with this?" Jie had known what an alchemist was Chao's as well as Ye's memories. But he didn't understand what relation it had with a sect being still allowed to be a 6-star sect.

"In this world, if someone people least want to offend, that would be an alchemist. Due to their limited number and the fact that not anyone could become one, they were treated as a national treasure by any party across the world. Not only cultivators need them whenever they suffer some injuries, but their pills were also needed for cultivators to break the bottlenecks." Qianjin patently explained. He was also mildly surprised as to why this young master, who despite having such fearsome strength at such a young age, still didn't know these few common details. But he didn't push his luck by asking about it.

"Ho! So that's why! But why would an alchemist with such exalted position, would stay with a weak sect? from what I know, this alchemist seemed to be too proud to stay with a weak sect." Jie asked what bugging him the most.

"I don't know. There was a rumor that one of the grand elders saved his life way back, and he was only there to repay the debt, but it was just a simple rumor. No one knows the truth." Qianjin explained. At the same time, he was sending some furtive glance at Jie. He was no fool. He had already realized what this crazy but overwhelmingly strong boy was thinking. But he was somewhat optimistic that he wouldn't take that step, would he? They are talking about a whole sect here.

Unfortunately for him, Jie had that exact intention. After listening to everything and thinking about it a few more times, he finally decided to visit that sect. He already had a beef with a few members of that sect anyway. There was no problem if he causes some trouble for it.

Initially, Jie had planned to raid Blood sect, but he had planned this Qianjin and Ru Xue to control that place. Jie wanted to make that place his center of operation in the future. In case he offends someone and has no time to deal with them, he would have this sect deal with it. He had already clear about the rules of this world. If strength was everything, then having a formidable status comes close second.

Standing up, he looked at Qianjin and said, "Okay, let's go. To this Misty Pearl Pavillion."

"What?" for a second Qianjin thought he hallucinated. Although he had a feeling that this would happen, still, when it really did happen, he was left in shock. That's a 6-star sect for god's sake. How could a single person throw around his weight in there? Not only that, there was a 4th-grade alchemist in that sect. This decision was paramount of courting death and nothing else.

"Young master, are you serious? It's a huge sect with many powerhouses. Cultivators of my level are in thousands there. Although I know you are strong, you still shouldn't be this arrogant! This just asking for trouble and nothing else."

Not only Qianjin, but even Ru Xue also looked worried as she tried to dissuade him from doing what he was about to do. It's not that she doubted his strength, but a sect wasn't limited to cultivation realm only. Most of the sects have formations, natural treasures, heavenly weapons, and even guardian beasts to protect them from invaders. How could a single person deal with all of that alone? Not only that, a 6-star sect had millions of disciples and hundreds of thousands of elders who could throw their life for the sect and act as meat shield at the time of need.

Looking troubled, she trotted to Jie's side and timidly said, "Master, please think about it a little bit more. Attacking a sect isn't a good thing, especially when you are the only one doing it. I suggest we should think of another way to do this. I am pretty sure there would be some other way if we think about it a little."

Seeing his two subordinates worry, Jie couldn't help but smile. Having someone care for you was a very foreign but still familiar feeling for him. Even though he knew these people only care for him because he used mental manipulation against them, even still, it felt good. Looking at them with a smile, Jie started "Qianjin, unlike Xue, you have chosen to follow me willingly. Although it was due to threats still… I know you have many doubts about my strength, thinking that how can just a kid like could take on a whole sect. So, today, let me show you a glimpse of my strength. Let me show you exactly whom you have decided to follow." As he said so, he swiped his arms in the air as white mists gathered in front of him.

Soon, the mists started to faintly clear themselves, revealing a circular gate floating in midair, showing a different scenery on the other side. It was a visual of a huge place spanning hundreds of thousands of li, covered in small houses and some spectacular stone buildings. Around the place, was a dense forest which was covered in white mists.

"This-this…its Misty Pearl sect! H-how?" Qianjin was at a loss of words after seeing the scenery.

"Haha! Just watch. I will show you what I am made of." After saying so, Jie stepped through the gate and appeared on the other side of the scenery.

Misty Pearl Pavillion would forever remember this day as the day of calamity for many years to come.
