1 awakening

Drip. Drip. Drip....

I keep on hearing the sound of water dripping on the floor, I think I am lying on the ground because it hard and cold. it's very dark in here, I can't see anything except that the is occasional tiny lights flashing by. I also tried standing up but it no use. I guess I am stuck here. I am afraid of the dark so I don't want to move around or make any noises, I think it's something to do with the way I was raised, I was told alot of ghost stories when I was young. speaking of being raised, my head is kind of fuzzy and I can't remember much.

[hello], "ahhhhhhh", I instinctively scream because I heard a voice in my head. well I know I am supposed to hear mine but this one was someone else's. It sounded kind of robotic I would say, kind of like in one of those bad movies. any way, that scared me though, felt like I was going to explode. 'I must be imagining things', I say to my self trying my very best not to piss my self. [no you are not], shit I heard it again. this time I swear I am sweating bullets while my body is same as always, unmoving.

my name is John and this year I am turning 20, well more like in a few days. i use to be the oldest son in a family of five. I went to a good school, graduated from high and got into one of the best universities in the country. well it may all sound rosey and all but things not always as they seem, I lost my motivation just after the first exams, probably because I didn't experience many set backs that I failed to push through. soon I got tied to some bad company while trying to chase quick success that I ended up burning the little resource I had and ended up dropping out. I was too embarrassed to go back home because me parents would freak if they knew so I decided to go to a different city and start a new life. luck smiled upon me for the first time in a while I was able to get a job at a club so I gladly took it at first glance. I was hired as a bodyguard but I had to be put on work outs and training when am not on duty. my boss and I kind of kicked it off well I'd say so life wasn't bad. and to top it off after a few months of work, I met Jane who I used to crash on in highschool and hit it off with her too. she told me not to mention her name around too much as she was running away from her ex. I complied and soon we got together and soon after began living together, I didn't have to worry much about living space and basic necessities as they were provided but I had to work extra because I had to feed two months, so during my free time I would work at the bar section of the club. she used to handle the work around the house and cooking so everything was all set. her previous boyfriend was abusive to her that's why she left him. I kind of feel like am a rebound but I don't mind because I want her so it wouldn't be that bad. or so I thought it would but, about a month later, the mother of all things unfortunate things to walk the earth struck. I was fired from work because money was taken from the office while I was on watch. it's kind of a stupid way for things to turn out but it happened, though I feel set up. I tried to complain but the boss didn't even give a glace. due to the depressing situation, I took some shots of the strongest alcohol I could find at the bar and went back to the employee residential area, it was a five floored building and my residence was on the fifth floor along with a few other apartments. I had a pretty hard time getting up there but I eventually got to my residence. going in, what I saw was the nut cracker as my body shivered and froze. I found my boss by the window pressing jane against the window while fucking her from behind as she cried out in ecstasy. "yes, yes, yes.. harder, harder, right there". she screamed. and almost the same time as I was about to scream, "ah, john, finally back I see.had you come earlier, you would have been in time to see me start the show. never the less, you still witnessed the grand ending. and maybe you would have had a chance to talk her out of giving her self to me". he said with an evil grin on his face. "what do you mean?" I asked, "oh, she didn't tell you? I am her ex boyfriend, she used to complain all the time that I don't give her enough attention. she would would also scream about how rough and savage I was with her, but she loves it so much that I couldn't stop myself. she also told me to stay away from my other girls, guess it didn't work out the way she thought, hehehe" he replied with some laughter. I looked at jane on the ground whose body was twitching as if she had just experienced heavenly bliss for answers, she still hard a perverted look on her face and it was quite hard to look at so I had no choice but to look back at the bastard who caused this to happen. "what? do not look at me like that, I even got you off easy for being with my girl. of course she begged me to let you go perhaps it guilt? she would have stayed with you if you had the money and power to keep her safe but sadly you can't, hehehe" he said with a look of a perverted sage on his face, making me feel like striking him with a rod to the head. "what are you going to do now that you've lost your job?" he asked " you know very well that I didn't take the money". I replied "I know, but can you prove it? I want to get rid of you, and this is the best way to do it so that it doesn't affect business. you played with my woman, john. I would have had to kill you and no one will speak for you. with all the businesses I run not many would go against me in this country, much less for you. power dictates the direction of the world my boy". rage filled me the instant he said those words because it reminded me of how insignificant I am. hence I through all caution to the wind and I dashes out without thinking, who would have thought that as I was about to hit his stupid face, I would trip and fall. I fell head first through the window and down I went to the darkness of the abyss..

or at least I think that's were I am.
