9 Ch 9: Beacon

"I can't believe my two little sisters are Joining me at beacon! Best day ever!" Yang yells crushing the two poor girls.

"Crushing lungs" Kyra

"Please stop" Ruby

"I'm so proud of you!" Yang says towards Ruby

"It was nothing Sis, Kyra took down the aircraft" Ruby says

"Don't ever yourself short. It was well handled." Kyra says patting Ruby on the back.

'I should have the nano suit just after the fall of beacon.' Kyra thinks to herself.

'I mean I could prevent beacon from falling however this group is the best chance at beating Salem. I just need to save Pyrrha and kill Cinder, leave Roman though he's double dealing against Cinder cause he is weak and has no choice. Either that or die, necessary evil.

"... wait I forgot about stimpacks!!!" Kyra says out loud realizing she could save Amber.

Completely having tuned out Ruby's and Yangs conversation. Is suddenly brought back by the news

"The robbery was led nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick. Who continues to evade authorities. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Vale police department." News reporter.

Then there was that bit about the white fang.

"They do realize they will never accomplish anything spreading fear." Kyra says out loud after the mention of the white fang crashing the protest.

A black haired cat Faunus heard her in the background.

Suddenly a hologram of Glynda pops up.

"Hello, and welcome to Beacon!"

"Who's that?" Yang asks

"Glynda Goodwitch." Kyra replies

"My name is Glynda Goodwitch. You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious Academy. Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsman and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with knowledge and training to protect our world." Glynda

"Oh, wow!" Ruby says

'Liar it's just a war in the shadows and the second it comes to light the light will fall.' Kyra thinks

"Look you can see Signal from up here!" Ruby says pointing

"Oh that's what it looks like." Kyra responds

"Oh yeah, you never went." Yang says still slightly surprised.

"Kinda busy running a company that could scare atlas and makes it so the common man can fight the creatures of the Grimm without relying on Dust." Kyra says since she recently started selling electricity providers by a miniature fission reactor stored in her main office building.

'I should probably move it... not in a safe spot. Let's put it like 30 stories underground and hope we are not near a fault line.'

*vomit noises*

"Well I guess the view is not for everyone." Yang says

"It was a nice moment while it lasted." Ruby says

"Yang you have vomit on your shoes." Kyra says

Gross-gross-gross-gross-gross-gross-gross!!!!"

"Get-Get away! Get away from me! Yang!!! Get away from me!!" Ruby starts shouting.

"Pfft, I'm going to love it here." Kyra says with a smile.
