13 Ch 12: Secrets out, and Landing Strategy.
"It's morning~ it's morning~ It's morning~" is heard being sung from across the room.
"Guess we have to get up." Kyra says with a small chuckle.
"Yeah sadly." Ruby says
"Don't remove the blanket unless you want everyone to see me in this." Kyra suddenly says
Kyra suddenly changes to the Blue hood blue jeans and navy blue tee shirt with her Pip-boy.
"You need to get me a thing so I can do that!" Ruby says still in her Pajamas.

In the locker room.
"Can you imitate a sloth?" Can be heard coming from a few lockers down.
"I don't think sloths make a lot of noise." A man says
"Then it's perfect!" The girl shouts
"That's why we are together, well not together together." The girl says as she walks by giggling.
"Why don't those two just get a room?" Kyra asks
"Wonder what they are worked up over?" Ruby asks
"I don't know but you two seem oddly Chipper this morning." Yang says
Kyra face goes red.
"I get to let my sweetheart do the talking today. No more awkward small talk or getting to know you stuff." Ruby says while rubbing the Crescent rose and looking periodically at Kyra.
"Well, remember you two, you're not the only ones going through initiation. If you two want to grow up, you're going to have to meet new people and learn new to work together." Yang says
"As long as we don't land next to Weiss, don't want to worry about her trying to kill me in my sleep." Kyra says
"Why do you sound like dad?" Ruby says
"Yeah she does kinda sound like him." Kyra says
"Okay, first of all what does meeting people have to do with fighting?" Ruby asks
"A lot, how are you supposed to fight if there are no people to fight." Kyra says
"No, No did you really just say that Kyra! Why do you like fighting so much!" Yang asks
"I don't fight that often." Kyra says
'If I did I would have grinded it out to level 100.'
"Yeah you are already really strong. Why do you keep training so much Kyra." Ruby asks
"Damn Saiyan tendencies." Kyra mutters
"I heard Saiyan again! Tell me what that means!" Ruby yells
Kyra looks around checking for people before pulling out a noise masker that was used during the cold war to make sure conversations couldn't be bugged and listened to outside of a certain distance.
Turning it on she sets the box on the ground near them.
"You two can tell absolutely no one what I am about to tell you." Kyra says
"I am not a Faunus but a Saiyan. The saiyans are a race of warriors that have a thirst for fighting and getting stronger. Our race is the literal definition of what doesn't kill us makes us stronger." Kyra says
"So, are there more of your kind?" Yang asks
"As far as I am aware no." Kyra answers
"How do you know that?" Ruby asks
'Cause they don't exist in this universe!'
"I just do." Kyra answers
"Tell me the truth sister." Ruby says
"They don't exist in this universe."Kyra says
"So the multiverses theory you told us about at dinner like 8 months ago is real!?" Yang asks
"Uhh, yeah..." Kyra says
"How long are you here for?" Ruby asks a little upset.
"The rest of my life I think?" Kyra says
"How long is that?" Yang asks
"Would you believe me if I said I don't know. My race doesn't usually die of old age." Kyra answers
"What about home?" Ruby asks
"There is no home to go back to... the planet was destroyed and everyone was slaughtered even the children." Kyra says

"My home is with you guys if you will still have me." Kyra says
Both Yang and Ruby suddenly hug her.

Outside on beacon Cliff for the Initiation.
"For years you have trained to become warriors. And today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." Ozpin
"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard about the rumors regarding the assignment of teams. Well, let us put and end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... Today" Glynda
Kyra's tail suddenly wraps around Ruby's arm.
"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well. That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next 4 years." Ozpin says
Kyra stares at him and he winks back.
"See I told you." Pancake girl says to green shirt boy.
"After paring up make your way to the north end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die." Ozpin says
Kyra raises her hand.
"Yes Miss Stark?" Ozpin
At his words all students turn and stare at the president and lead inventor of Stark Industries.
"Does that mean we can destroy the forest?" Kyra ask
"Normally I would say that's not possible but knowing you... you would find a way to do it. Please don't destroy the forest." Ozpin says
"Anyway, you will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation. But our Instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must chose one, and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions? "Ozpin
"Yeah, um, sir" Jaune
"Good! Now, take your positions." Ozpin says
"Yang, Ruby, you two need anything?" Kyra asks her sisters
"Oh those gold aviator sunglasses would be nice!" Yang says
"Sure. How about you Ruby?" Kyra says throwing the pair at her.
"I'm good just meet me first on the ground please." Ruby says
"See you there!" Kyra says as students start to get launched.
"Uh, sir? I've got, um, a question *weiss is launched* So, this landing strategy thingy, uh, w-what is it? Your like dropping us off or something? " Jaune *another student launches*
"No. You will be falling."Ozpin
"Oh, I see. So, like, did you handout parachutes for us?" Jaune asks
"Woohoo!" Nora
"No. You will be using your own landing strategy." Ozpin says
"Uh huh... yeah" Jaune
*Yang launches putting on the sunglasses.*
Kyra turns to Jaune.
"Do you really need a parachute? I packed a spare." Kyra says
"Yes!" Jaune says
*Ruby launches*
Kyra starts digging in her back pack she has under the hood.
"Found it." Kyra says pulling it out right as she is launched. Before she could hand it to him.
Jaune looks absolutely horrified not having the parachute now.
Then he's launched.
