20 Uninteresting hours.

Rei thought that finally his first day of school was finally ending and he was already planning of going home to train his skills as a ninja in a crazy manner but was told there was another class. As of now Rei was already blown away by his classmates even though he is ahead of them right now he knows for sure that it won't take long for them to catch up with him since they all probably just trained casually as they are only five years old now and does not have the mental fortitude he does. Rei only hopes that his presence in this world make all the ninja his class be pressured to train and be better to catch up with him so when the crazy things happen all of them wouldn't be helpless and be able to contribute to the hidden leaf's defense. The students from the clan families are now probably dreading to mention what happen in their first day to their parents at home since they would probably take some time to train them harder since they are from Family that has been ninjas from who knows when and is supposed to be much stronger than normal ninjas since they have a better starting line than the others.

Naruto: hey rei, is it really ok for me to train with you?

Naruto asked rei again if it's alright to train with him since he thinks he might just delay his training because when he saw the way rei fought with sasuke was just amazing for their age he can't even hit rei right now so he thinks he doesn't deserve to train with him. Rei just smiled at him then snickered because he probably already thought of what naruto is thinking since even if he is dense and naive he doesn't want to be a burden to anyone even if he really needs help that's also the reason why in the original series he sucked so much at the beginning but when someone actually invested time and trained him his improvements were just massive in a short period time even the other jonins that was watching in the chunin exam wondered what kakashi did to naruto to improve that fast.

Rei: hey, we're friends right... so don't worry about it you could just accompany me in training we train our bodies and spar and seiho would be around too so there's two of us who could help you.

Seiho: huh... rei he's going to train with us?

Rei: yeap, isn't it cool we got ourselves a new friend!

Seiho: yeah, it's cool... but do you think he can keep up?

Rei: don't worry about it I told him he can't quit once he starts training with us.

Naruto: Of course, I won't quit you better believe it!!!

Seiho: ok, relax naruto I was just worried about you... rei's training is actually pretty crazy I can hardly keep up you know.

Naruto: that's ok... I'm not a quitter and I'll train even harder to surpass you guys!

Seiho laugh out loud but not because of naruto's statement of surpassing him because he also knows that nothing is impossible although he is quite confident about his skills his father told him not to belittle anyone because they might just surpass him in no time if he slacks off. What he really laughed out about was naruto's insistence of training harder than rei since he already seen how hard rei trains, almost passing out every day even he couldn't come close to the amount of training his best friend does and that's why rei's close combat skills are just amazing.

Seiho: you better prepare yourself then if you really want to train like he does... you're going to be in for so much trouble.

Naruto: you will see!!!

Rei: ok ok ok... just come with me after school you can train with me at my place... hey seiho want to come at my place too?

Seiho: some other time I have to train at my own pace you know, rei... hahaha you're like a traning mainiac I can't keep up with that.

Naruto: really, I can come to your place?!

Rei: yeah come with me after class we have to train like crazy and still come to school on time tomorrow no slacking ok!

As the three were talking their teacher mizuki told them that it was now time to go back to their classroom since the next class would be held there. The kids walked back in their class chatted about the recent sparring like they watched a movie or something when they arrive at their classroom and neatly seated a brown haired large man with a goatee wearing hidden leaf's ninja uniform walked in their classroom and stopped just right in of them. Rei had no idea what's the name of their teacher right in front of them but he was sure that he appeared in the original series a few times.

Teacher: hello everyone I'm going to be your teacher in ninjutsu and my name is Daikoku Funeno... you can all just call me teacher daikoku.

every students nods in agreement to their teacher.

Daikoku: Why are you guys so serious HAHAHAHA! take it easy children ah right I can already see someone from the uchiha clan. You know Uchiha Itachi was actually the best student I ever taught for now... because kids you might just change that!

Daikoku Funeno explains the importance of ninjutsu to his students that it was also not about it being cool but to be used in the right moment since not everyone has a huge amount of chakra, most has average amount some even below average. After he explained about the boring part about the basics of gathering chakra and channeling at which naruto almost slept on because he didn't understand a thing about technical and boring stuff since even in the series he does everything by instincts a concrete example would be when he taught Konohamaru sarutobi his rasengan telling him about it has to go poof, bam, uuhhhgggh, baam, or swish, baam... (trust me and watch it you're gonna get a good laugh) that style wouldn't help anyone except for his types it is kind of a genius in a certain way because they figure out things in their own basing it on their feeling so academy really does not suit naruto since academy is retro fitted to explain things in a normal and technical way unlike what naruto needs are firsthand experience that's also the reason why he improved really fast after graduating another person who's sleeping is shikamaru but who can blame him guy's a genius he could probably explain what the teacher said while asleep. On the other hand, rei listened attentively since he wants to know what the difference is with his father's teachings and the academy's.

Daikoku: Okay let's start everything with practicing to control your chakra!

Daikoku: then have you all heard of our very own leaf concentration practice.

Only a few responded of knowing while a lot of students have not since not all who is attending the academy are from a family who has at least one ninja some are from a civilian family in the hidden leaf. Their teacher daikoku explain everything about the traditional concentration of chakra in a single point then he showed how it is done to the students. the four students who didn't really care about it are shikamaru, naruto, choji, and kiba lazing around the class rei is sure that at one point their teacher Iruka would repeat everything teacher daikoku said today to them because of their lazing around in class well who can you blame one is a super genius so he lost interest in class, the other two can't really understand the discussion since naruto and kiba are basically instinctive while choji cares more about food. While everyone was trying the leaf, concentration practice the other four was just having fun in their own worlds rei on the other hand tried what he did before in his home and realize his chakra control is just way ahead of his peers since he can already climb on trees with just his legs and the exercise he is doing is too easy so he tried to up the challenge and make it move using his chakra, split it in two, and dice it up. Among rei's classmate sakura haruno has just that talent in chakra control like he has he now wonders how strong she became in the original story since she also learned tsunade's "yin seal: release" and "strength of a hundred seal" furthermore in the first part of the series kakashi said that sakura's strength was in genjutsu so maybe she surpassed her teacher tsunade.

Since it is the first day of school their teacher didn't taught them any technique yet besides Rei was not interested as well because he already knows the E-ranks taught in the academy he might just research on a few things like the strong fist, silent killing, rope escape technique and others that involve fuinjutsu which are seals since this are extremely convenient. Nothing exciting happen in their ninjutsu class since their teacher was not like mizuki who like to liven things up although daikoku was jovial he liked to build things up first. Rei's first day finally ended and now eager to come home.

Seiho: our first day was done just like that rei!

Rei: I'd rather be training somewhere else though... I didn't really want to stand out.

Seiho: Hahahaha! why is that?

Rei: uuhhmmm... I like playing it low key.

Seiho: well too bad... what do you think would happen if they allow us to use weapons and ninjutsu in sparring.

Rei: I'll just do what's enough... what are you going to show off your skills?

Seiho: you bet!

Naruto: uuhhmmnnn... are you guys going home now?

Rei: yeah, and you're coming with me right, we got training to do!

Naruto: you're really asking me to come train with you?

Rei: why, you don't like to?

Naruto: it's just that I might not become friends with you after coming to your house since that's what always happens when I make a new friend their parents tells their kids to stay away from me.

Rei: don't worry about that my parents are very nice!

Sasuke: Rei, we're not done yet!

Rei: done with what?

Sasuke: sparring! there's no winner yet...

Naruto: you'll see sasuke I'll surpass you in no time!

Sasuke: step aside... I'm not interested in you.

Rei: oh, hhmmnnn... right there are so many days we could spar besides you should train too won't it be more interesting if we're both really strong when we spar?

Sasuke: tsk, you're just afraid.

Rei: yeah yeah I'm afraid so can I go now.

Rei didn't like to argue with sasuke since he already know what he is like and his complexes... and winning against him in competition would probably pissed him off since he wants to be the best like his brother well maybe rei might be wrong but who knows what sasuke really thinks. Rei rather just be left alone besides sasuke is a lot harder to deal with than naruto since he's got that pride on himself clashing with him might just give him negative results although rei knows that sasuke was just eager to prove himself at this point since his clan values strength and talent. Rei went home with naruto in tow so that they could train together at his place.

Naruto: wow you have quite a big place.

Rei: uuhhmmnn a little but not as big as the noble clans you know.

Naruto: we're going to train here?

Rei: yeah, the backyard is built for training but we can't do really destructive things mom will get mad at us.

Naruto: destructive things?

Rei: uuhhmmnnn I once transformed something into a giant shuriken and made a huge mess in the yard.

Naruto: How did you do that?

Rei: transformation technique.

Naruto: When can I do that...

Rei: don't worry about that it will be taught in the academy I'm sure you can so much better we must train taijutsu first so you don't get beat up in class.

Naruto: Yeah!

Fuyuki walks in on the boys in the yard.

Fuyuki: oh, you brought a friend rei?

Rei: yeap mom, he is uzumaki naruto... I brought him home to train with me!

Fuyuki: I see then I'll go get you guys some snacks... is he going to come here frequently?

Rei: I want him to, is that ok mom?

Naruto: uhmmnnn is that really ok?

Fuyuki: of course, it is... aside from seiho you are his only friend.

Naruto: Rei was actually so cool in class today... uhhhmmn mrs. miyazato.

Fuyuki: call me auntie... ok I leave you boys to train make sure you don't overdo it.

Naruto talked about what rei did in the ninja classes with Fuyuki with great enthusiasm before fuyuki leaves the two kids on their own in the training yard.

Naruto: uuhhmnn Rei why is there two of you?

Rei: that's my shadow clone cool right. let's train taijutsu make sure you don't give up!

Naruto: of course!
