16 Training in the wilds part two

Rei and seiho was being forced to exhaustion by being attacked from all side the two thoughts of using ninjutsu to counter but rei advise against it since he saw the alpha wolf behind the pack that was much larger. Rei thought that if they separated only one of them would be able to survive and seiho looking a little weak of the two would be targeted heavily by the pack and he didn't want his only friend to suffer that kind of fate.

Rei: listen seiho we must breakthrough or make them fear us!

Seiho: ok, then what do we do?

Rei: I'll cover you then do something huge!

Hearing what rei just said seiho made the hand-seals for his ninjutsu who has the most area coverage he then shouted "Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm". The ninjutsu used by seiho made the ground surrounding the wolf spiral inwards and buried a large group of wolves surrounding them giving them a chance to retreat for a better position. the Earth Release ninjutsu the seiho recently wasn't just something he could cast one after another without a cost this move cause his already fatigued body to be even more exhausted. Seeing his best friend exhausted Rei pull him over and placed behind him so that he could give him some time to rest.

Rei: good job seiho.

Seiho: yeah but that was a little exhausting.

Rei: having no weapons really consumes chakra in maintaining the transformation technique for our weapons.

Seiho: I guess so but will have to pull through this I don't want to be killed by wolves.

Rei: Yeah, I guess I'll have to do something as well.

Seeing that there's no water around rei again regrets only having learn water release and only if he could learn how those powerful ninja pull water from the ground or air like nothing then he'll have no worries. Rei had to do something because they are soon going to get overwhelmed although it's true that seiho's earlier move took out a group of their enemies and made them warry for some time but seeing that there's no further huge attack and movement that came from the two made them even more furious and with the leadership of the alpha wolf and commands the wolves attack just got more intense.

Rei knew he had to do something or they will really get killed so he hurriedly forms hand-seals to use "water release: raging waves" pushing back the wolves and knocking out some he continued and use the water from raging waves to form clones using "water release: water clone technique" even though the clones only has a tenth of his fighting strength it is enough to deter the wolves for quite some time.

Their fight with the wolves continue and the two kids are about to hit their limits. The alpha wolf saw his chance to finish the fight as soon as possible it dashed towards seiho baring its fangs. Rei saw the alpha wolf's ruthless attack seeing that his best friend hasn't realize his impending doom rei use what's supposed to be his last trump card to save himself to help seiho and cast "water release: water armor" since water armor is strong enough to resist physical attacks from swords and such the bite of alpha wolf didn't went through. Seiho was shock that he almost died he quickly retreated from the alpha wolf the water armor disperse as well since rei does not have enough chakra to maintain it for long. the adults were about to move when seiho was going to get killed but they quick saw rei salvaging the situation so the males didn't bother but sayoko was really about to move and kill every wolf in the jungle if not for her husband holding her back and assuring her that their distance with the children is short enough to be able to respond in no time.

Seiho: thanks rei for saving me.

Rei: good thing there's water nearby but thank me later if we really survive, and I'm running out of methods to get out of this mess.

Seiho: I have enough chakra for two more C-class ninjutsu rei what do we do?

Rei: I'll distract the alpha wolf when you have the chance hit it with everything you got.

Rei's water clones are still fighting with the remaining wolves and what little chakra he has right now is extremely low and the only way they could survive this is through seiho's ninjutsu. Rei move towards the alpha wolf threatening to stab through its eye the alpha wolf didn't bother and made a biting motion towards him. Rei smirked and use "body replacement technique" replacing his body with another wolf. The alpha wolf bit through the wolf mercilessly thinking that it was Rei and seeing this as a chance rei signaled to seiho to attack. Seiho quickly tried to end it with "Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm" but the alpha wolf already know this trick and jump up high when seiho saw this he didn't let go of this opportunity and use his remaining chakra and formed hand-seals to use "Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique" mid-air with no mobility the alpha could only brace itself as it get hit and burnt by the fire release ninjutsu.

The alpha wolf fell down and looked lifeless but rei didn't buy it he thought that unless you're incinerated you absolutely won't die instantly from burns life that special it is an animal they are talking about who has strong life force and being an alpha wolf would mean he is much stronger with the addition of chakra would only make its physique much tougher. but who knows he wasn't a medical expert in his past life he just did not want to be caught off guard by a dying wolf to be bitten and become a dog food. Seiho was surprise that his ninjutsu burned the alpha dog but at the same time he was out of gas to fight and the same goes for rei.

Rei: Great job seiho!

Seiho: yeah but I'm really too tired now.

Rei was also worried that the remaining wolves would not retreat after seeing their pack leader dead he knows for sure how rotten his luck is and if the wolves really retreated that's just being a lucky. The three adults were proud of their kids and now sayoko finally releases a sigh of relief but the battle wasn't over yet for the two boys. the last water clone rei summoned finally dispersed now left with miniscule of chakra he could only hope that looking tough in front of this wolves would work.

Rei: don't look weak right now seiho you have to look tough.

Seiho: but I'm really tired...

Rei: they might take that as a sign of weakness then we will be doomed.

Seiho: Ok, I'll try harder!

Rei: That didn't work at all...

Seeing that the wolves didn't bother with their tough looks that probably looks comical to them since they were children acting like tough just how could a child look tough. Rei prepared to flee with seiho in tow but he didn't have an escape route besides with their exhausted body how could they outrun wolves which they will have trouble on outrunning even at full capacity so he decided to risk and hope that these wolves are not like ninkens or ninja dogs like akamaru the partner of kiba in the original series.

Rei thought since these are just normal wolves and the alpha is already out of combat or dead he could maybe retreat from them if he climbs the trees but it's impossible climbing it up normally he should do it the ninja way so that they don't get caught from behind. As the wolves rushed them rei decided to grab seiho and run to the tree nearby and try to climb it by running like how naruto did in the original story he just hopes that his talent for chakra control is at the same level of sakura haruno who did it in her first try. As he grabbed seiho and rushed towards the tree he focuses his chakra towards the sole of his feet and thought well this is actually a little bit easier than I thought he didn't want to crush the tree so he channeled just a little of chakra and thought it was enough. Rei step towards and tried to ran up but with just his third step he lost his footing and slip seeing that the wolves are about to catch them with seiho at his back he decided to throw seiho up on the branches of the trees for him to get to safety while he was falling.

On the ground and surrounded rei fought for his life punching, kicking and stabbing the wolves who were coming after him he already received a few puncture wounds but not anywhere from his vital points. Seiho was watching as his best friend was fighting for his life on the ground he felt guilty for not being able to do anything up in the tree but he didn't want to waste rei's effort on saving him since he's already exhausted and couldn't fight anymore so he decided to pick the fruits near him and throw it to the wolves.

Rei is now complaining in his head to the point of cursing at who reincarnated him what the hell sort of "god" telling him that he has talent for chakra control when a tree climbing routine with just the use of his feet failed, but he calmed down after furiously beating the crap out of the wolves who were coming after him at this point he wonders if there's an end to this because seiho definitely killed a lot with his two earth release and he's sure that he knocked a few out with his water release besides he summoned water clones to fight with a whole bunch of them. Rei really feels exhausted but giving up at this point means dying so he lashed out at the wolves giving him a chance to escape their encirclement but right at that moment that supposedly burnt alpha wolf took its last strength and dash towards him for a bite he could only blame his accursed luck and use "body flicker" to get out of the way almost draining out his remaining chakra so he decided to climb the nearby tree and hope this b*stards can't climb one. To his surprise he was able to climb it cleanly and sat one of the thick branches finally his supposed talent saved him.

Rei: damn it... I swear I'll always have weapons on me even when I sleep.

Seiho: Are you ok rei?!

Seiho shouted from the tree opposite to rei.

Rei: yeah, let's recover our chakra and wipe them out these canines probably would remember us and if we don't wipe them out they'll bother us as long as we are here on the jungle.

The wolves didn't give up on the two boys on the trees and some are trying to get up but whenever they do rei and seiho would just throw something at them knocking them downwards. Alpha wolf didn't actually die from being burnt it just looked more terrifying now and this just made rei more vigilant of things he swears when he recovers his chakra he would hunt these wolves with seiho so he urged seiho to recover his strength. The three adults also heard what rei said and agreed to his decision but was worried about his outlook of slaughtering all his enemies because normally a child wouldn't have this kind of thoughts. Mokichi on the other hand thinks of educating his son but then later on told himself that it was ok since he lived through wars and being kind to your enemies would only mean being cruel to your allies since the enemy you let go today could be the cause of death of one of your allies in the future. At this point sayoko told the other two that their kids already done enough but they said we should see more of what they can do since they already came this far besides rei is only one who's really wounded and that's something that would recover on a day or two at most and look the wounds are already scabbing is what mokichi said. Sayoko then grumbled that his wife would beat the hell out of him when they get home with rei looking like that and she said she'll definitely tell fuyuki of what he just said since rei is also like a son to her.

A few hours had past and rei has recovered a lot of his chakra and the same goes for seiho now they plan to kill the remaining wolves so they both use ninjutsu above the trees. Rei used his raging waves then water clones to beat the crap out of the remaining wolves while seiho used fire release to burn the wolves. The two weren't able to wipe the wolves out because of their retreat and this would surely hunt them as long as they are in the forest but the two decided to take a rest on top of the trees and call it a day.
