32 Term end part 4

The teachers decided to give Rei a decent amount of time to rest and recover his chakra since it wouldn't be fair if the two fights with stamina difference. Meanwhile Iruka and other teachers present talked about how they should facilitate the fight and how they should ask for help since even though they are chunins and still possessed enough power to easily beat the kids, stopping them from killing their opponents from the sideline is a whole different matter.

Since the two student's skills in ninjutsu is great enough to be used as a killing blow they do not want to risk the chances of one of them dying by the hands of each other so they decided to ask a favor from the Hokage's office to give them a hand.

Iruka: Lord Hokage is there someone who's available to give us a hand?

Third Hokage(Hiruzen Sarutobi): Why do you ask?

Iruka: Lord Hokage, you know about the competition to determine who the strongest is on every class right?

Hiruzen nods to confirm his knowledge about the event.

Iruka: We've reach the finals now and the two students who are fighting can be considered geniuses since their skills as a ninja is far beyond their age.

Third Hokage: I believe there was a young Uchiha in your class is he in the finals?

Iruka: Lord Hokage, there are two dark horse in this class and they beat everyone from the clan family, the two of them are going to fight for the top spot.

Third Hokage: Well let's go then I'll personally watch the match since right now every jonin of our village is busy with their own missions.

Iruka: but lord hoka-

Third Hokage: No worries, the future of our village's youth is much more important than what I'm currently on.

Iruka was in awe with the Third Hokage's decision of personally watching the match so that a possible accident from the fight of two possible pillars of the village in the future could be prevented. The third Hokage put on a big smile since he could take a little break from all his work but hopes that the young shinobi in training are all a believer of the will of fire like him since he still regrets Orochimaru's betrayal to this day.

When Iruka and the Third Hokage arrived at the training hall where the competition was being held the students cheered when they saw the Hokage since his presence was just like that of a rock-star in this world. The Hokage gave the students a meaningful speech where he said that even if today you lose your battle it isn't the end yet as long as you survive and your willingness to improve has not died, one day there will be a time when all your hard work will pay off and become one of the best in your chosen profession.

The third Hokage further encourage them that he once had a student weakest among his team of three genins but become so strong that his name is known throughout the lands that even S-class wanted shinobis wouldn't dare fight with. The third further commented that he was talking about the legendary sannin Jiraiya.

Iruka: You two looked so calm and talking to each other and having fun that it looks like you're not about to compete with each other.

Rei: Hahaha, teacher Iruka there's no point in getting nervous besides Seiho and I already fought a lot of times while training with each other.

Seiho: Yeap, I think I lose some and Rei won quite bit more... Naruto though is always the loser in our mock fights hahaha.

Rei: Don't say that he just loses against us because he hasn't been trained like us.

Seiho: Yeap, but you better get ready this time though Rei... I've got some new techniques.

Rei: Really... you shouldn't have said that though now I'm keeping my guard up.

Seiho: darn it!

Iruka: Ok you two take your positions, Our Hokage doesn't have all day to hear you talk.

Seiho and Rei took their position and made their fighting stance once Iruka announce their names the third Hokage made a smiling face since he already heard about Rei from Might Guy's casual talk with him in his office added by the information he got from the kid's father who serves him directly as an anbu.

Seiho's name also manage to light up a bulb above his head since he bears the surname of one of the anbu's team captain with all those information, Hiruzen finally realize why the two kid's skills are way above the others since they've been trained by high ranking anbu since they were maybe a year or two younger than now. It is also extremely normal for the teachers of the academy not to know their background as well since anbu's usually hide their identities.

Iruka made the signal to start the fight so the two friends quickly launch a barrage of shurikens against each other and circled around from the shuriken's contact point. Seiho knew of Rei's advantage in close combat since they've been sparring for a long time so he scattered makibishi which are caltrops to limit Rei's mobility so he could fight safely at the distance.

Rei was frustrated with Seiho's strategy since he knows that fighting at range with his best friend is a bad idea given the fact that he has some serious fire power with his ninjutsu but right now he has no other choice. Rei quickly release a barrage of shurikens and combined it with his clone technique to somehow buy time while he is uses "Manipulated shuriken technique", Rei's plan was never to hit Seiho out of nowhere but entrap him with inside a web of strings using "Manipulated Shuriken Wire Binding".

Seiho regretted not moving faster when he spread the caltrops which gave Rei that fraction of a section to start attacking with his range moves, left with no choice he took out his kunai and transformed it using "transformation technique" into a large morning star and smashed towards the incoming shurikens blowing them away with the force of impact produce in every hit.

Seeing Seiho defend himself forcefully so that he wouldn't leave the defensive perimeter of his caltrops, Rei saw this as a chance and executed his "Manipulated Shuriken Wire Binding" forming a web of strings surrounding Seiho now entrapped in the middle.

Seiho just momentarily lose his focus but now he realizes that he was entrapped inside a formation of strings with nowhere to run to seen by the naked eye, Seiho decided to run towards the ground by using his "Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique" and dove towards the ground escaping Rei's entrapment.

The crowd was impressed the children even having their mouth slightly open while some of the teachers are now having a serious look because of the first exchange between the two happened like veteran fighters are fighting instead of children, truly this was deserving to be the final match to determined who among their class was the strongest even the Third Hokage was mumbling about the two being good enough to graduate early from academy, specially Rei since the strategy he just shown is even beyond that of a normal genin.

Seiho knew that once he appears at a distance Rei would resume his current advantage in range attacks since forming hand seals requires him a little bit of time, though it only needs a second that was enough for his best friend to turn the tides on him again.

Stuck underground Seiho dug through and traveled to the position where Rei was and came out swinging his fist for an uppercut just like kakashi's "Earth Release: Rending Drill Fang". Surprised by Seiho's change of strategy Rei could only turtle himself up like a boxer and jump backwards absorbing the force of the uppercut.

Now that Seiho got the advantage he didn't let it just pass by and formed hand seals, while midair Rei saw that Seiho was forming hand seals so he decided to perform his own and execute "water release: raging waves". Seiho saw Rei perform series of hand seals so he deliberately slow down his hand seals so Rei would catch up with him since he already knows that his best friend only has a water release, Seiho finaly decided to use his trump card "lava release: Lava bullet" is Seiho's take on of fire release flame bullet releasing it in one go.

Rei use his raging waves sure of dispersing Seiho's ninjutsu since he saw him perform a hand seal specifically for a fire release but what happened a second later stunned him a glowing red ball collided with his raging waves dispersing it but it only cooled down and the remaining material hit him dead on stunning him for a second.

Rei remembered that Seiho is a dual affinity genius and having that is a requirement to be able to perform a combined nature transformation release which means that Seiho's genius is no joke since this means he has a kekai genkai capable of dominating the ordinary ninjas.

Seiho: Hehehe, told you I've been training secretly!

Rei: Darn it, that surprised me was that lava release?

Seiho: Yeap, are you giving up now Rei?

Rei: Nope, things are just getting interesting why stop now.

Rei has been fighting all this time with his bracer set in two times, so his body has been feeling the pressure of twice his weight like rock lee but on a lighter scale for now. Rei usually does this on a normal day to continue the tempering of his body but now that he has to fight seriously though not as dramatic like rock lee's, he turned the knob of his bracer back to normal.

Meanwhile the Third Hokage was surprised that in his village a budding super power of a ninja turn up with a kekkai genkai of Lava release, since there were only two who had a crazy combined nature transformation from the hidden leaf was the first Hokage with his Wood release and now his subordinate who defected from the root, he knitted his brows in confusion that a child will be born here that has that kind talent but quickly dismissed his suspicions right away since Seiho is the son of one of his most trusted subordinate.

Now trembling with excitement and feeling the lightness of his body Rei dashed towards Seiho in a confusing manner not to be targeted by range attacks easily. Frustrated by Rei's action Seiho spread another batch of caltrops to prevent him from easily maneuvering and quickly release a barrage of shurikens in the general direction of Rei.

Now still pumped with his excitement Rei use his modified version "water release: water armor" to cover the soles of his feet since the caltrops couldn't possibly pierce through it he dashed through them with all his might while fending of the shurikens with two kunais being dual wield. Seiho looked a bit troubled that Rei technically trashed his strategy of caltrops just like that now that he was approaching him he had no choice but to time his attacks perfectly so he used "Lava release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm" this time instead of the earth release version of swallowing up his opponents, the ground turned into lava like a quick sand about to swallow Rei.

Realizing the dangerous situation in front of him Rei quickly sent chakra towards the water armor on his feet to possibly injure the heat of the lava even for a just a bit of time then used "Body flicker" to quickly close the distance and followed it up with "leaf whirlwind" hitting Seiho's body with a spinning-roundhouse kick sending him in the air.

Since Rei thought that Seiho was overwhelmed by his sudden speed increase he followed him and this time using his speed and momentum he tried to hit Seiho with a superman punch. Awoken from the momentary unconsciousness Seiho was surprised by Rei's sudden increase in speed then further combined with body flicker but right now was not the time to think things through since a huge punch was coming his way to end the fight, he quickly uses "body replacement technique" and flee from Rei's range to avoid close quarter combat. With blood dripping down from Seiho's mouth he frowned in frustration.

Seiho: tsk, even with my unique ninjutsu... I'm still getting beaten up damn it.

Rei: I told you to train your taijutsu, hehehe.

Seiho: I still haven't lost.

Seiho has already use a couple of C-rank ninjutsu and it is only a matter of time till he exhausts himself and Rei knows about it, with the chakra he has left he now plans on his last assault that could lead him to victory.

Rei dashed towards Seiho looking to end the fight but Seiho threw a kunai at him, Rei smirked and took out his kunai to deflect the easy attack but suddenly Seiho transformed it into a giant ball of steel capable of crushing him. Horrified by the sudden turn of events Rei had no choice but to use "body replacement technique" to save himself from being crushed to death but once he dodged the crushing incident a barrage of shurikens coming from Seiho covering the whole 180 degrees in front of him leaving him with no choice but to jump up to dodge the disaster.

Seiho smirked, one thing that everyone hates the most in fights is being expose midair with no way to move specially for non-jonin level ninjas. Seiho saw this as a chance and unleashed a spray of bullets with his "lava release: Lava bullet".

Now that Rei is left with no choice he decided to use "shadow clone technique" midair to get himself out of a possible embarrassing situation by being barbecued like Naruto, his clone push him towards the ground evading the lava bullets. Seiho gathered his last remaining chakra to finish the fight with "Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm" since Rei couldn't possibly dodge right as he is landing to the ground.

Rei was now panicking and thinking hard on how he'll possibly avoid that well planned attacked upon arriving to a conclusion he suddenly form hand seals and used "water release: raging waves" towards the ground to propel himself out of that impending defeat. Now that he is sure that Seiho can't possibly resist his genjutsu because of exhaustion of chakra he used his self-created genjutsu "Demonic illusion: death from multiple angles" the illusion showed an image of him attacking from different angles confusing the target giving him a chance to attack so he dashed towards Seiho and from his blind spot and gave him a playful smack to the back of his head.

Seiho: ouch! that hurts...

Rei: Were you trying to kill me?! -he asked angrily.

Seiho: I was just trying to win. -he replied with a grin on his face

Rei: You still want to fight?

Seiho: Nope, I'm out of stamina I give in ok. Besides your kick still hurts.

Rei: Come on we could have that treated and I got hit by an uppercut and a cooled down lava.

Rei was declared the winner of the class competition with this event clearly observed by the Third Hokage he is eager to recruit the two in the anbu squad since with their current prowess staying in the academy is quite meaningless and letting them be part of four-man team like the usual with a jonin and three genin will be quite weird because of the age difference.

Hiruzen hopes to develop the two to become pillars of the village who could support it in the future but if they decline that was ok as well since he is not like the root who forcefully take children to be trained as long as they stay loyal to hidden leaf it would be fine. With the conclusion of the competition every student celebrated since it will finally be their long-awaited vacation meanwhile Sasuke was pressured by the show of talent Rei and Seiho did he thought that with his current skills he is at the very top of their class.

Sasuke now hopes to improve and would definitely ask for his mother and brother's help since his father wouldn't probably help him with his duties as the clan leader and training on his own only lead him to this.
