10 Realization

The sun is up early in Yashina Village Rei and Mokichi went outside of the village to train since the father and duo felt little rusty spending their life in the Hatano household for quite a while prevent them from training like they used to in their household.

On a nearby forest the father and son duo started sparring. Mokichi notice that his son's bukijutsu and taijutsu has reached another level, Rei's movements are actually becoming sharper and his instincts on when to strike decisively are starting to get on point.

Mokichi thought that incident with the bandits forced out Rei's potential if he keeps on improving at this rate it's possible for him to graduate from the academy earlier. The only factor left is his chakra capacity our potential sure can't compare with elite shinobi clans like the Uchiha, Hyuga, Senju, Uzumaki, and the likes but among the non-clan shinobi I'm definitely in the top ten.

Sure, I can't spam out A-rank ninjutsu that requires a lot of chakra my limits about seven in that regard but if it's a technique that focuses on control it will be a different story, since that's where I excel at and Rei is even more talented than I am.

Mokichi: Rei you've improved before we left hidden leaf village you weren't at this level yet.

Rei: Yeah dad, I think I've improve as well after that battle. I think I've become more decisive and confident in my own abilities.

Mokichi: That's good to know, Rei but don't get complacent ever there's always somebody out there that's stronger than you.

Rei: Definitely, I'll always do my best and train!

Mokichi: That's the attitude!

Rei: Dad, I think I broke through my chakra bottle neck.

Mokichi: So that fight really forced out your potential huh?

Rei: I think so too, dad.

Mokichi: alright, as much as I want to teach you C-rank ninjutsu now it won't really be practical since you won't be able to use it as much in practice besides I don't have "Chakra Induction Paper" to test your affinity.

Rei: Oh ok, so do I get another D-rank like "body flicker"?

Mokichi: Yeah, but this time I'll teach you genjutsu since you can practice E-rank and D-rank more with your chakra capacity once you perfected them they can be comparable to some over powered ninjutsu for example the "body flicker" I taught you is also taught inside the academy as it is a general skill for every shinobi but it gets overpowered depending on the user's mastery for example the Raikage, and our late Fourth Hokage while our fourth Hokage's speed can be attributed towards his "body flicker" he has an even more impressive ninjutsu that gave him the nickname of Yellow flash is the late second Hokage's technique the the "flying thunder god".

Rei: Sounds cool dad! but how do I get to become really fast?

Mokichi: train your body to the limit then add "body flicker" hahaha! I Have no idea how to do that "flying thunder god"

Rei thought his father has some idea about the flying "flying thunder god" since he's seen it in anime if he is able to do that then he'll be pretty much close to untouchable.

Rei: So, what am I learning today?

Mokichi: I'm not sure you can learn this since genjutsu's are quite difficult to learn I can't really say that this is a D-rank but the chakra consumed using this genjutsu is equivalent to that of a d-rank's. What I'm about to teach you is Leaf-Style Willow.

The father and duo then proceed on pair proceed on training for Rei to learn leaf-style willow the genjutsu actually causes the target to hallucinate multiple waving arms out to slash them making them vulnerable to attacks.

Rei had quite the hard time to grasp the genjutsu since he never really read how they work in his past life he would rather learn ninjutsu's since he has the talent for chakra control, which makes learning them easier the morning past by with his father's patience in teaching the technique his able to grasped the basics of it sooner or later he'll be able to execute it like his ninjutsu's.

Mokichi: Good sooner or later you'll master it in no time.

Rei: Yeap dad! one day I'll be as strong as you as well.

Mokichi: Don't underestimate your talent Rei, I'm pretty sure you'll even surpassed me. You have a better start compared to me when I was your age I wasn't half as good as you are now. Besides I think you have a crazy talent in chakra control I'm sure at one point you'll be able to manipulate chakra and move it exactly as you want it to then who knows what kind of things you'll be able to do with it.

Truthfully Rei couldn't wait to become a strong shinobi since he knows what will happen but he knows that rushing things would get him nowhere. Rei's father is really good at teaching as well, besides Rei has a mind of a thirty-five-year-old so he has the patience to build things up from the ground up no matter how much he fails he'll just keep trying.

Realizing what his father just said if he could really manipulate chakra as he wills it then maybe improving techniques that requires less chakra consumption would be possible since the difficulty in executing wouldn't matter with his talents before all that he has to reach a certain level of accomplishment in his talent but right now he has to focus on his basics.

The Father and son duo went back to Hatano household after short moment of cleaning themselves and resting up. Mokichi and Keiji are chatting about trivial things over a game of chess.

Mokichi: how's your kenjutsu coming along?

Keiji: I've improve we could spar in the dojo later so you can see.

Mokichi: sure, have you been teaching your son?

Keiji: yeah let's have the kids go at it although I think it's going to be unfair to little Rei.

Mokichi: don't worry about Rei didn't I tell you about the bandit incident on the way here.

Keiji: you were really serious about it?

Mokichi: yeah.

Keiji: you're telling me Rei can hold his own against bandits?

Mokichi: yeah for a four-year-old shinobi in training he was pretty awesome.

Keiji: tsk tsk, so we have ourselves a young genius shinobi?

Mokichi: I would like to think that but Rei is more of the hardworking type he never missed a training except for these few days.

Keiji: I guess it's time for Yoichi to learn something from Rei.

Mokichi and Keiji sparred in the dojo later that afternoon the result was definitely as expected with Mokichi winning their spar. Keiji's profession is that of a businessman he trains in kenjutsu just to be able to defend himself in times of need after all with his wealth he could just hire a shinobi from hidden leaf to guard him but of course even with a formidable bodyguard there are times he has to defend himself.

The suprising thing that happened in this spar was Keiji almost getting a hit on Mokichi by almost getting one off him once he lowered his guard by suddenly releasing an explosive tempo of combination of slash, hack, and stabbing attacks Mokichi responded with parrying, body shifting and deflecting Keiji's wooden sword downwards giving Mokichi a chance to point his sword towards Keiji ending the spar.

With Keiji's deceptiveness, accuracy, and explosiveness Mokichi was able to determined that his brother-in-law has already reached the kenjutsu level of a chunin shinobi. Having learned this he felt proud of him and felt assured that his brother would be able to defend himself just fine.

Mokichi: your swordplay with that spatha has actually improve you can now defend yourself it's not like you're gonna get assassinated by a jonin. -Mokichi knocks on wood.

Keiji: You think so, well I actually have to increase my security these days you know as the family's business gets bigger problems tends to pop up.

Mokichi: You've been having problems around here, I could probably help you out while we're still here and if you are needing extra pair of hands I'd recommend the mercenary bunch we hired they're skilled and from what I've seen they are trustworthy they stick to their duties even at disadvantageous situation they try to complete their duties at the best of their ability.

Keiji: It's ok brother you don't have to move personally if a problem like that exist I will send letter to you right away.

Mokichi: Alright, just tell me if you need help.

Keiji: Of course. Oh, right you said those mercenaries are pretty good how's their battle capability?

Mokichi: well you can't really put them on the standard of a shinobi but they're good enough for fighting against bandits as for militias and soldiers they're probably at that standard.

Keiji: is that right, then I'll trust you on that. Anyway, Fuyuki said they'll escort you till you get back to the hidden leaf?

Mokichi: it's ok Rei and I can fight it's much better for them to stay here.

Keiji: ok then should we call the kids for them to spar?

The two middle-age men then looked for their kids to have a spar

Mokichi: Rei, come here.

Rei: Yes, dad!

Mokichi: Go grab a wooden sword over there and spar with your cousin.

Rei: ok, but does he know kenjutsu?

Keiji: yes, Rei don't go easy on him.

Yoichi: Dad, you make it sound like he's better than me Rei is four years old and I'm eight!

Rie and Yoichi stood up against each other and took up their stances. Yoichi stood straight holding his wooden sword with both of his hands just in front of his chest and sword pointing upwards while Rei took up his usual side stance holding his wooden sword upwards with his right hand hiding his body behind it.

Keiji: Ok, kids in a count of three you can start fighting.

Rei: Uhhmmm ok uncle.

Yoichi: You'll now see my skills little Rei! - Yoichi said with a lot of excitement.

Keiji: three! two! one! Start!

Rei has no idea how to wield a sword since he's been training with his father all this time with a kunai as weapon combined with his taijutsu so he decided just to wield it like a dagger. Yoichi dash towards Rei making a diagonal slashing motion with his sword aiming for Rei's left shoulder.

Rei was surprised with how big the movement Yoichi did which leaved him a lot of openings so he stepped back to dodge the incoming slash and stabbed towards Yoichi with his fastest speed. Yoichi tried hard to to dodge and even swung at Rei's wooden sword when he knew he wouldn't be able to dodge it but when he swung at it, Rei just withdraw his wooden sword and stabbed at Yoichi for the second time seeing that Yoichi's wooden sword was swung up and unable to defend himself. Rei stopped his wooden sword just right in front of Yoichi's chest.

Keiji: Victory goes to Rei!

Yoichi: Wait, I wasn't being serious yet one more then I'll show you!

Rei looks at his uncle Keiji waiting for his signal, but Yoichi looks extremely eager to have another shot at him. The days gone by just like that with Rei and Yoichi sparring every afternoon Rei felt quite bored since their level of skill is too far apart it's understandable, because shinobis are just different from regular people and Rei was trained by his father even just for a short time a shinobi's way of enforcing their body with chakra could solve physical differences.

Rei wasn't going to bully his kid cousin all day so he occasionally let's him win making Yoichi extremely happy and bragging about that moment as if he just unleashed his real skills. The day of Miyazato's journey to go back home in Hidden Leaf Village finally arrived.

Fuyuki: Brother we'll have to go back home now we'll be sure to visit you again.

Keiji: Just send me letters and that would be enough. I know how hard it is for the four of you to travel.

Fuyuki: Ok I'll see you soon.

Mokichi: We will have to go now but will visit soon as soon as we can I promise!

Keiji: Don't worry just take care of my sister and my nephew and niece.

Mokichi: I got it.

Keji: Oh, By the way I decided to fully employ Captain Masami and his crew.

Mokichi: that's good to know, anyway we will just be alright on the road.

Yoichi: Little Rei! I'll be sure to defeat you next time with a large margin. Don't slack off or I leave you in the dust.

Rei: yeap! I'll be training all day as well so you better be ready when I come back big brother!
