37 Feeling of urgency.

At the beginning of the new school term, Rei decided to attend just to make his connections with the canon characters deeper. Since having strong friends in the future would be a great blessing, which he could be proud of. Besides exchanging pointers with with them from time to time will be his natural measurement device, if he could survive during the fourth shinobi war.

What surprised Rei is his new-found reputation, which is almost the same as what Sasuke's been having all this time. Sasuke is always being viewed as that cool handsome guy, even when his attitude turned for the worst after the downfall of his clan, which hasn't happened yet in this time line.

The coldness Sasuke showed after only somehow made the ladies of his batch liked him more, because you know what they say bad boys get the girls when they are younger. Well Sasuke was sort of "bad" since he stopped using respectful words to address someone.

In the Naruto word, which uses the Japanese language it was rude and disrespectful. Rei blankly looks at the window of their class room and started wishing of the time quickly pass by but Naruto suddenly asked him a question.

Naruto: You suddenly turned popular Rei! -Naruto said with glee since he is proud of his friend.

Rei: Well I guess winning the competition played its role. -Rei answered though a little bit uncomfortable.

Naruto: The girls are asking me about you and Seiho, since they think that you're both so cool. -he said with a helpless sigh, seemingly tired from all the pestering and questioning.

Choji: I rather get food than girls though, since I don't want to share my snacks. -he butts in uninterested in their topics.

Shikamaru: Seriously though, Choji when are you going to stop eating? -looking helpless since his best friend eats like there's no tomorrow.

Akamaru: arf! arf! -trying to get some snacks from Choji.

Choji: Stop him from getting my snacks, Kiba! -said angrily.

Kiba: Ok, ok, ok come on Akamaru. -helpless with his ninken's behavior.

Naruto: So, what do I answer them Rei? -asked with a flat tone then grinned by the end of it.

Rei: I don't really know, I'd rather train and study more for now and think about it in the future. -replied in a serious tone.

Sasuke: I think Rei's right as well, we should train to become stronger. And of all our classmates the person who needs to study and train the most is you Naruto.

Naruto: ggrrr, you are right but I don't want to hear that from my RIVAL! I'll surpass you in the future!

While most the boys were talking, Shino on the other hand just listened to them, while Seiho was mysteriously absent from class. Rei worried about his best friend since they haven't seen each other for quite some time. Even during the term break Rei wasn't able to see Seiho at all, Rei wonders what suddenly happened to him. For all he knows Seiho might just be doing some secret training since he has a combined nature transformation.

When Rei thought about Naruto's comment about him being popular he sorts of quite like it, because it is the first time for his entire lifetimes that he is experiencing it. But suddenly realizing the thought, little girls that could've been his daughter in the previous life are actually having admiration for him shattered his day dreams.

So, Rei depressingly looked at the ground. Moving on there's a point of class hours where the boys and girls separate, it was for the kunoichi class of the girls. Curious of what they do, Rei asked Ino Yamanaka.

Rei: Hey! Ino, what do you girls do in Kunoichi class?

Ino: It's a secret! -she smiles and sticked her tongue out.

Sakura: Hey, I think we should at least tell him. Out of all the guys here I think he might just be closest to Sasuke, since they are sort of rivals. -she said with a persuasive tone.

Rei: hhhmmnnn, I think I should disguise myself as a female student... do you think I could pass off with my looks? -Rei jokingly said.

Sakura & Ino: Hahaha!

Ino: that's hilarious all this time, we thought you had books and training equipment in your head. -She said while giggling.

Naruto: Is that an ultimate prank Rei?! -he asked with enlarging eyes.

Hinata: Don't do it guys... we just do things that would make us disguise ourselves as a civilian female. -she replied hurriedly though a little shy, but since she wants to prevent Naruto from doing something crazy, she just had to do it.

Rei is quite happy that he found himself to be in quite harmonious relationship with the rookie nine. This kind of friendship that he knows would go through to thick and thin, even with risking their lives to save someone in need is something Rei didn't have in his previous life.

Rei could only treasure them and do what he can to help them in their times of need as well. If only Rei knew what kind of trouble he will be in due to this connection, sure it wouldn't be a love or hate relationship but the battles he would have to fight might've change his mind. After class Rei quickly went home, since his father gave him a task to train his little sister.

Rei: Shizuku, we have to start your ninja lessons now. -he shouted when he arrived home since he didn't where his sister was.

Shizuku: I'm coming brother! -she ran in a skipping motion to where their training ground was.

Rei: Let's start training with taijutsu first! -said with a smile.

Shizuku: But I have two friend tigers brother, why do I have to train? -asked in confusion.

Rei: So that you could play with them better! -Rei tried to answer his sister in a childish way, he could better motivate her.

Shizuku: What could taijutsu do? -looking a little interested with some spark in her eyes.

Rei then explained to her sister that she'll be able to run as fast as and jump as high like fujin and raijin, which were the tiger ninja pets. Shizuku grew interested with her brother's explanation and became determined to train in taijutsu.

While training his sister how to punch, kick, knee, elbow in their right forms, which were the basic attacks of taijutsu Shizuku grew bored right away and told her brother that the training was boring. But Rei convince her that if she doesn't do it then she won't be able to become as fast and strong as the two tigers. Rei further motivated Shizuku with his hidden stock of sweets, which made Shizuku's attitude towards training turn upside down and now diligently finishes her drills.

Time quickly passed by, Rei was surprised by his sister's improvement it seems that she is quite more talented than him in terms of fighting senses. Spending with the tigers must've rubbed it into her, since whenever they are sparring Shizuku could sense when there's danger she couldn't face head on and quickly retreats or block in the general direction.

Rei was happy for his sister since having that kind of ability in their future profession would save her life countless of times, not just that she might be able to become someone who specialize in counter attacks if she's able to further her abilities. When Rei started teaching his cute little sister shurikenjutsu it was finally the time where he had to somehow sit and looked frustrated.

Shizuku's hand eye coordination and dexterity was just a terrifying sight for Rei since she was able to pick up his shurikenjutsu quite easily, though it doesn't packed power yet the mere fact that Shizuku could pick up his throwing skills in a month which he trained with countless hours of hard labor was a huge blow for his pride as the supposed to be skilled big brother.

Rei begun to think that the "Naruto World" might be someone he offended in his previous world that's why it is so stingy towards him, but extremely generous towards the people around him.

One thing that didn't change though even if Rei's time is quite divided is his passion towards training. Rei even trained or studied at night whenever he wasn't able to hit his goals during the day and opting to let his Shadow clone attend class, whenever he didn't have enough sleep.

At times he sends his shadow clone towards the library to study more medical theories and principles. Rei's training in chakra scalpel is not going so smoothly liked he hoped, but the progress in his chakra control is growing by the day since he started to train in the technique.

Rei hopes in the future to be able to use it like Kabuto Yakushi does and maybe incorporate it in his taijutsu, so he could easily disable his opponents with just a little touch of his hand. At that point blocking his attacks through normal means of bone and flesh would be suicidal.

Rei's still thankful that there's something consistent in his improvements, which were his mastery over Water release hasn't stop increasing since day one and his body's improvement that sort of gave him some problems with physical energy quality. But now his body can move in four times his body weight with ease.

With the improvement of his chakra control Rei has been trying to expedite his mastery over with his water release, reaching the point of being able to somehow start to control the viscosity of his water. Rei was also able to finally learn his lightning nature, which took him a great deal of time since he has to vibrate his chakra in high frequencies.

Just before the school term ends Rei was finally able to learn his ninjutsu C-rank "Lightning Release: lightning bullet". But what happen in the same month was the massacre of Uchiha clan, the gears are now turning Rei felt more pressure than ever before.
