7 Battle
Clash of metal, dripping blood, and furious screams could be seen and heard all over the camp. This is not a good way to start your travels in the land of fire where almost anything is possible. Rei saw his father transforming back his weapon and started fighting with any bandit who came close to their family trying not to reveal his might right away, but cutting up his enemies and breaking their bones effortlessly, sure make a good statement to show that he's not someone to mess with.
Mokichi's show of taijutsu and bukijutsu that should have made everyone back off worked, but the more skilled fighters rush in to take a piece of him and seeing that he was protecting a young family. The four mercenaries who's protecting the two children and a young mother was attacked tenaciously, hoping to take the family hostage and stop Mokichi in slaying their allies. Meanwhile the two young chunins are making their mark on their enemies trying to even the odds of being outnumbered by forcefully slashing with their blades and crushing their enemies with their blunt weapons.
The two chunin Kotetsu and Izumo showed great combination techniques with their bukijutsu. Izumo would be drawing the attention of their opponent then would be finished off by Kotetsu at times it was the other way around. There's also a point where they just attack their enemies at the same time brutally slicing them off with kunai blade or being bashed to a pulp by Kotetsu's mace.
Mokichi: Oh finally those two youngsters are making a good show, that person hiding in the shadows might just finally show Himself. No ordinary bandit group would dare to attack a well armed caravan like this even if they outnumber them two to one. -Mokichi said inwardly
Masami: Mr. Miyazato, things are really getting ugly over here we're outnumbered, I think we need to retreat somewhere with advantageous terrain.
Mokichi Heard mercenary captain masami's complain, and suggestion. Mokichi's now finally decided to get a little serious and incapacitate the enemies in front of him. While trying to incapacitate most of the enemy combatant near him and avoiding killing as much as possible mokichi heard his wife screaming at his son.
Fuyuki: Rei! Come back here!
Fuyuki screamed with worry and fear for her son's life, when mokichi heard her scream he was about to use "body flicker" to instantaneously close the distance between him and his family when he saw Rei coming out of the defensive circle of the hired mercenaries to engage a bandit trying to slash one of the mercenaries with a katana. Rie dash forward and deflected the horizontal slash of the bandit.

Instead of rushing over Mokichi just continued fighting while giving attention to Rei's fight and his girl's safety.
Mokichi: Right, let this little boy of mine experience fighting with his life on the line this early this might not sound right but it would benefit him a lot, I won't let him die anyway I can get there in a fraction of second -he whispered in his mind.
Rei Continued to exchange blows with the bandit in front of him since he's much faster he was being aggressive to take the upper hand in the fight.

But the bandit didn't waste his life learning nothing, he was able to use his experience to keep Rei at distance with his longer reach. Rei tried to close in and do a fast jabbing stab towards his opponent's torso. The bandit countered with stepping back and slashing upwards. Rei deflected the slash using his kunai but it send him backwards taking a few steps due to physique difference.

Rei is now thinking of a new strategy to overcome his physique disadvantage. He thought of ninjutsu and crossed it out right away, and thought I should only use it when I really need to. The battle will dragged on much longer and wasting chakra now is just being reckless. Then he thought on why am I insisting on winning in close combat he's actually not the one who has range advantage. Rei then thought of using range attacks at the right moment.
Rei initiate the combat again slashing horizontaly to right making his opponent react by parrying and slashing downwards.

Rei shifted his body to right to dodge the incomming slash then dash towards his opponents left side initiating a rising slash to cut off his kicking leg.

He then quickly cancelled his kicking motion and propelled his kick in the opposite way doing a counter-clockwise spin moving him further to the right side of his opponent giving him a chance to jab a stab on him.

the bandit caught off guard still manage to react a little late getting a stab wound on his forearm getting the kunai stuck on it. Seeing this as a chance he hurriedly tried to slash at rei.

Rei didn't care about the kunai at all realizing it was stuck he let go and hurriedly retreat while throwing shurikens targeting the throat, chest, and groin. He got the idea from the martial arts kata he used to practice in his previous life a bit ruthless but it does the work.

The bandit realize what happened and tried to block the flying projectiles that would kill him instantly.

Rei got lucky and hit the third one though a little of towards the right side hitting his opponent's thigh. Then he figured I'll steamroll you now I got the speed advantage now you'll be like a cripple moving slow motion against me.
Mokichi saw what happened with Rei's first combat experience though his son was inexperience in life and death fights, performing this well was out of his expectations he would be glad if Rei did the minimum and defended himself without freezing at all. But actually winning an exchange with an experienced bandit that's something for a first fight at four years old.
Rei retreated to see what kind of move the bandits would do specially after seeing him fight, good thing he has the mind of thirty-five years old and was experience in fights in amateur competitions though without a weapon in his previous life. if it was a young shinobi getting the advantage they would hurry and finish the fight but the bandit retreat and called for a back-up now it was two on one.
Bandit A: hey, we got a pretty skilled kid here a bit embarrassing but he got me good. help me out!
Bandit B: Right. That was embarrassing getting done in by a kid like that.
Bandit A: Shut your trap, and help me get him then will let him watch as we slaughter his mother and sister.
Hearing the words said by the bandit Rei kept his mouth shut, he is now furious but he has to keep his calm to have a chance of winning. Fighting recklessly would just get him killed he knows that he's not some kind of a main character who gets stronger when furious. He is now prepared to use ninjutsu to end this quick.
Bandit B rushed towards Rei intending to slash but Rei knows this is his chance to off someone since the distance between the two bandits just got wider. Rei prepared himself intending to cast a ninjutsu at the right time.

Rei used body flicker moving instantaneously dodging the slash towards him and moving towards the back of the previous bandit he fought, slashing towards him with intention to kill.

Right after ruthlessly slashing the back of his opponent Rei unleashed a barrage of shuriken towards the bandit who dashed at him hitting him dead on with five shurikens fully incapacitating him.

After winning his first fight Rei felt a load off his shoulders letting his guard down thinking that it was now over his adrenaline rush wore off. Mokichi seeing this shook his head and hurriedly cast a ninjutsu.

Rei was surprise at was just happened behind him seeing his dad gave him a sense of relief.
Mokichi: Never let your guard down rei, even after finishing a battle unless you are out of combat.
Rei: I understand, but where were you all this time dad, I totally forgot about you just now dad.
Mokichi gave rei a hard knock on his head.
Mokichi: What are you talking about I was nearby fighting bandits preventing them from coming here and overwhelming us rei.
Rei: Right dad, I'm now totally doubting your prowess as a ninja. The first hit I got in the battlefield is actually from dad, how troublesome
Mokichi: HAHAHA! you'll see later
Rei stood up but then Mokichi walk towards the two bandits and finish them off.
Mokichi: That's payment for what they just said they would do, now I gotta go find that bastard who threw that gigantic shuriken. ah right just defend your position Rei, The mercenaries we hired are quite experience each of them could deal with two to three bandits on their own.
Mokichi then started fighting near them to better defend his family. Rei continued to fight and getting experience. His father fighting right by his side teaching him things that could only be learn in a battlefield, oddly enough Rei had chances to finish off his enemies right of the bat, but wasn't able to because of his inexperience his slashes weren't deep enough and the vital parts of the bandits are well protected though won't die instantly looking at the rate of their blood loss they'll die eventually if not treated. A Swordsman appeared slashing from afar with his broadsword stopping the chunin duo Kotetsu and Izumo from completely over turning the battlefield.

The two chunins defended with all their might causing them to retreat a few step backward and coughing off blood

Mokichi recognize the man who appeared right away as well it was a B-class wanted shinobi in the bingo book his name is kinjo junichi a man standing at the height of 190cm with mascular build wearing a black tank top, steel bracers, shoulder guards, grey pants a wanted man for killing and pillaging all across the land of fire targeting large merchant groups.
Mokichi: Well, now we know why this bandit group is brave enough to attack a caravan with this kind of security they have someone who has Tokubetsu Jōnin level in kenjutsu alone.
