10 The Fate Of Nazarick

A gigantic table carved of gleaming black stone sat in the center of the room, surrounded by forty one luxurious chairs.

However, most of those seats were empty.

Once, every single place had been filled, but now only 4 were occupied.

On the right, there was an Elder Black Ooze, His appearance is merely a mass of a black, sticky substance. His tar-like surface roils and writhes continuously, never staying in one shape for more than a second. This was Herohero (the slime guy in the first episode)

The second was seating next to the slime, has a humanoid figure, wearing a shining white armor with a helm that has a huge sapphire embedded in the middle of his chest, radiating with pure and divine light. He is also adorned with a reddish cape attached around his right shoulder. This was none other than Touchme (The shining white knight with the cool armour)

Sitting opposite to them was a humanoid gray goat, crowned with a pair of wickedly curved golden horns. He is dressed in a black suit and velvet cape, with a rose pinned on his left shoulder. Upon his head is a beau and the right side of his face is covered with a golden mask. He was Ulbert (I'm pretty sure he was shown in the anime, not use what episode)

Finally the one seated in the middle was clothed in a magnificent black academic robe, edged in violet and gold. The collar seemed excessively gaudy, but somehow it fit the overall design.

However, the exposed head was a bare skull. Points of dark red light glowed in its large eye sockets, and behind that skull glowed a halo of black radiance. (Is ya boi Ainz)

Seeing that they were all here, the lich seated in the middle seat started the meeting.

"Well this is all the remaining members of the Ainz Ooal Gown, the remaining 37 members have sadly already deleted their accounts. So Ulbert what is it that you wished to speak?"

The goat man who now looked solemn as he was reflecting on what Momonga has said.

" I really cant believe Peroro san,Buku-chan,Yamaiko, Takemi and Nishi. All of them have left"

Ulbert mumbled in melancholy.

"Ulbert are you just gonna sit there mumbling or are you gonna tell us something? I even took the day off because you said it was important!"

The man in armour hurried Ulbert along, looking at him in annoyance, as he was currently thinking that this was probably one of Ulberts petty tricks.

"Calm down Touch san, Ulbert san was only reminiscing about the past. Now, Ulbert san what is it that you wish to say? I dont want to hurry you but I do have a doctor's appointment in an hour"

The black slime interrupted the armoured figures scolding and gestured for Ulbert san to talk.

" Thank you herohero san. Yes I have something important to say, I met a person last week who was offering 2 million USD! For our guild!!"

Ulbert exclaimed spreading his arms out in a dramatic manner.

"This better not be one of your tricks Ulbert! Seriously this is not even believable! who in their right minds would spend 2 million on a closing game!?"

"Is this really true Ulbert san!? My lord I would never even make a million in my life at that deadend job, let alone 2 million hahaha!"

Touchme and Herohero questioned the authenticity of Ulbert's claim.

"Hang on you two, let Ulbert speak"

Momonga hushed loud duo, seeing as it may lead into a long drawn argument between Touchme an Ulbert

"Yes it's all true! The buyer is really paying big money for this game! His real name is Tian Long and he is the son of the owner of a half a trillion dollar oil company! You better believe it guys, he even brought my class for 5000 USD, Hahahaha we are gonna be rich!"

Ulbert spurred out in feverishness, his voice had an edge of hysteria.

"My lord hahaha I can now finally pay off my hospital debts, I can't believe this! Is this really real! With that kind of money I can finally get out of that black hearted enterprise! Hahaha"

"Tian long huh? Yes I have heard of him, the second son of Chou Long, the owner and biggest shareholder of the long Corporation. Tian Long was said to be a musical genius being able to compose a song when he was just at the tender age of 7 and was even revered him as the second coming of Beethoven."

Ulbert probably sensing that Touchme was getting off track interrupted

"Who cares about those Touch san Hahahaha the main thing is that he is paying for all the wasted effort we've spent for nothing and all those thoughtless investments we now can never get back. All of those, just to build this intangible, virtual and worthless Items, we really were foolish addicts....."

"Yes you are right, Ulbert hahaha it really was a bit foolish of us to waste all of those efforts in a game, and now, all we can do is just to sit here and watch it all disappear"

"I agree, it really was rash of me to go through all those all-nighters just for the sake of this game and now I have to pay the price of my recklessness, as a decade of all nighters totally ruined my immune system"

Herohero voiced out dejectedly, seeing this Ulbert tried to cheer him up with another good news

"Ohh and by the way this is not even all of it! The buyer even said that he would even feature our guild's history in the front page of the Yggdrassil website! haaha how cool is that!? And that's not all he said the price was even negotiable!"

"Ulbert please introduce me to this person, I really must thank him personally for this generosity! Hahaha Looks like I can bring the family out for a long awaited vacation"

"Ooo introduce me too, please Ulbert san, Hahaha we really must tell all the others about this! It really isnt fair that we are the only ones benefitting from this, so let's meet offline after we sell this guild!"

"That goes without saying Hero san. We have built this guild together, so it is only right to share it with every one and yes I really think that we should meet offline after this, we can all stay at my place bahahaha."

"You said it yourself Touch san hahaha, I really can't believe that we would all be this lucky"

The group were all laughing and cheering in delirium, all apart from one.

This particular person was currently dwelling on the fact that his friends or those he considered were his friends, had so easily forggotten about the importance of their guild, and had so easily throw it all away just like a used condom! And for what? Just some money?!

Momonga couldn't believe his ears as he heard his so called "friends" happily talking about what they were gonna do with the money, blatantly disregarding all the efforts they had gone through as a family, all the many nights they've grinded and all the days they've bonded.

Do all of those times, mean nothing to them? He alone was keeping this guild running, soloing dungeons late at night just to afford the running cost of their guild. It was hard but he was sure it will all pay off, once the others come back and play with him again. But now they just want to cast jt all away?

'No, I cannot allow this to happend! Are they crazy!? This is our life's work, our happiness and they would just throw it all away for material goods? Thats insane! They're insane, I have to stop this!'

Momonga thought as he was slowly losing faith in the people in front of him, but nevertheless he would give them a another chance and called out his worries.

"Stop it guys! Just think about it, isnt a bit it too suspiciously that a rich guy would just randomly pop up and offers a large amount of money on a dying game!? Cant you guys see how suspicious that is!?"

Momonga's shout interrupted the cheering trio.

"What are you even talking about momonga san? Cant you see that this is all a great opportunity for us?"

"Yea I second hero san and who even cares about what the rich folks do? Different from the common people like us, It's normal for them to spend money on random things, so what's suspicious about it?"

"They are right Momonga, it is time for us to move on with this game. I know it may be an unsavoury end to our once glorious guild, but Hero and Ulbert are right. It is time to cash in our chips and flip the page towards the new chapter of our story."

Hearing all of this, something suddenly snapped inside Momonga, which led him to looked at all the people infront of him in digust.

"TRAITORS, TRAITORS ALL OF YOU!"

Momonga then opened his guild master window and kicked out every single members of the now disbanded Ainz Ooal Gown guild, leaving him the only one left in this empty barren tomb to rest.

The trio were currently at the entrance of the tomb of nazarick, very confused and angry about what had just occured

"What the fuck! What the fuck! What the fuck! That fucking asshole just kicked all of us, What the actual fuck???"

"I don't know Ulbert, but I don't think momonga will let us in anytime soon"

"I never knew that Momonga was this selfish, What could we do now Touch san?"

Herohero looked at Touchme for answers

"I dont believe we can do anything as of now Hero san, it is up to Momonga's decision now"

"Fuck that fucking asshole! We were so close to getting a life we have all wanted but that dick just had to be fucking childish about it, I really cannot believe him"

Ulbert gritted his teeth in seething anger

"Calm down Ulbert san, we are all angry and upset. There is nothing we can do, but to wait for momonga to calm down. In any case Ulbert san, does Mr Tian Long want to buy anything else? I still have a few divine items on me"

Herohero patted Ulbert's back trying to calm his friend down.

""Ohh yes! hahaha Hero san you are a genius! Yes, he was actually looking for end game gear when we met, hahaha let me send him a message if he is still interested in equipments. But before that, what do you guys have on you?"

"I have my quasi world item [Odin's eyes] which gives me the ability to have a 360º diameter field of vision not only that but it could also allows me to passively see how much mp the target has left. (totally not the byakugan) I also have a few peices of divine class Monk oriented gear "

"Ooo nice Hero san, I'm sure Mr Tian will be interested in those eyes hahaha, What about you Touch san?"

"Ahh yes, I still have my armour I won in the world champion tournament [Compliance With Law]  it has the power which surpassed that of Divine Class items, rivaling even Guild weapons. I also have my divine class shield [Earth Recover]. What about you Ulbert? What are you gonna try to sell Mr Tian Long?"

Touchme asked the busily typing Ulbert, he then smirked at Touchme smugly.

"Hehehe, I managed to grab all of my gear earlier while waiting for hero san to logged and got my Quasi world item [Seidr Wand] which increase the spell potency and Aoe range by threefold and [Armageddon Evil] which calls forth a parade of demons hahaha. But not only that I also grab the World Item held by demiugre called [Billion blades] which makes it so that a weapon will leave afterimages in mid air which would inflict the swords effect if a target comes in contact with them. Hehehe I'm sure Mr long wont be disappointed with these!"

The trio then sat in front of Nazarick, talking about how their life is currently going and they even set a schedule to meet up in real life.

Minutes passed and they were still outside of the Nazarick waiting for Momonga to let them in, but they now doubt it would ever happend and looks of anguish and anger were present on their faces.

It was now finally time for Herohero to leave for his doctor's appointment, which also signal the other two to depart as well. Bidding their goodbyes, they couldn't help but once more looked back at the tomb they once called home.
