The Dimensional Gap(Edited)

After falling asleep something strange happened to Lucian.

His body began to glow.

Not like some weak glowstick glow either.

It was more akin to the morning rays of the sun.

It was bright, so bright that if anyone would´ve seen the glow they would´ve gone blind.

Then suddenly.

The glow vanished and Lucian with it.

In another world, in a void-like empty space place known as The Dimensional Gap, a place where life *cough* most life cannot prevail, a light appeared, the same one that appeared with Lucian.

Then it vanished.

After it vanished what was left behind was a soul.

This soul managed to catch the attention of a very powerful being.

If he were awake he would´ve noticed that this being was none other than Ophis, the Ouroboros Dragon, born from the Dimensional Gap.

Ophis simply stood there, watching the soul like a hawk, or a dragon, your choice.

After all, a soul appearing in the Dimensional Gap is flabbergasting enough. If it were to survive though....well. Ophis is intrigued by the result.

Will the soul die?

Or will it prevail?

While Ophis was currently thinking, something snapped her out of her thoughts.

Ophis was, for once after centuries, flabbergasted. That was the Voice of The World. The very thing that kept everything in balance.

Ophis was now even more intrigued.

Ophis stood there shocked, intrigued, and a little scared.

One, the World was forced to do something.

Two, the soul in front of her and the being protecting it is extremely powerful. As seen from the mana waves rolling off of the soul which is shaking the Dimensional Gap and the fact that this unknown higher being forced a world to do something.

Just as she was calming down, the World spoke again.

After the World spoke a wave of mana blew out of the soul.

Once the wave hit Ophis a strange symbol started to appear on her cest.

Once she looked at what it was, what she saw was a symbol resembling a serpent with wings biting its own tail. Resembling that of the ouroboros symbol.

Then she realized that this was the individual's mark. The mark for their soulmates.

Unconsciously, Ophis smiled a little at the thought.

Once she looked up, the soul was gone and the Dimensional Gap stopped shaking and regained its silence.

´We´ll meet again Lucian. My mate.´ She thought excitedly.
