2 Chapter Three: - SQUATTERS RIGHTS

Waking up floating mere inches above his former life the ragged remains of his mind wandered for a moment, and slowly returned.

Looking down briefly a single tear ran gently down his face, the gaping wound was clear for all to see it had been his birthday his 29th, not much good celebrating now.

But there was something else a thin thread or wisp still connected him to his body, and no matter how much he tried he was able to move or even float away.

For the moment Alex was in fact a squatter for he could not return to his body or even move on.

What was left of his body lay broken and empty like a shell, but in that moment something changed; he did not want to return to his body not even if he could.

His eyes drifted around the alley trying to pick out the darkness and the figure, but there was nothing not a trace, as for his heart that was long gone.

His eyes suddenly grew wide his home his life was all at an end, the fall impact if a bit late had only just hit him squarely in the chest; so to speak.

In moment he was in the alley looking down at the corpse the next the scene had shifted completely.
