3 Chapter Four: - THE WAREHOUSE OF THE LOST

As the light faded into nothing, the room was a large, no not just that, but huge hpwever it now seemed to be much closer to that of gargantuan size now that really does comes to mind.

Moreover Alex now stood or rather floated a few inches above the floor, with thousands, millions, trillions of souls.

It was far more than anyone could possiblity attempt to conprehend let alone count.

Upon a table floating in mid air was a button, a rather plain looking but without thinking he reached and pressed it, at first his fingers passed striaght through it.

However, touching it once again this time he pressed the button with an ordable click.

From out of nowhere a thin sheet of white paper suddenly appeared, in his hand the number 6 ….. .... ... million ….. ... trillion ... ... ...

"oh just great" he thought looking down at the paper and the numbers.

Through the mass of floating souls he just able to glimpse a sign: -

"WELCOME TO THE HEAVENlY HERE AFTER"

Just below the sign a counter with many numbers just continued to spin a blur ooking back down at the sheet of paper, his heart dropped.

The thought of spend his existence in such a place horrified, as if reading his thoughts two doors suddenly appeared in a far wall, he had been totally convinced that there had been a door there before.

However his mind has only just returned from the deep recesse one thing that did start to hapoen.

Was that many of souls had started to drift toward the doors, an overriding feeling tried to take over him and force him to drift towards the doors as well.

Howevef, for once he fought against at and in a small way he has won claiming a victory but he managed to stay back and watch as the many rushed toward one of two doors and disappeared.

Above the two doors one sign read "ENTRANCE", in huge golden letters stretching towards the ceiling and beyond, for there never seemed an end to it, that is.

It was a wonderful construction a gothic arch made from perfectly cut pieces of glass.

Again the letters "ENTRANCE", which shimmered on the surface or even beneath as he watched them disappeared and then suddenly reappeared moments later.

In stark contrast there was no sign above the second door which was different in every aspect, from his first impressions it appeared to be, a simple garden shed with crude letters written lazily on the door in white chalk "EXIT"

His mind was in a sea of confusion as he watched as others had now reached the two doors, many choose the gothic arch and stepped through.

Many soul departed but still there were still so many left that it really did not matter, as for the shed door no one had even attempted to go near it.

Alex knew without actually knowing which door he needed to go through, within the mass of souls something moved and started to drift toward him.

Souls just floated aside leaving a vague looking tunnel for whatever headed in his direction
