12 Death Chanter
"What's wrong with you, Harith-- Your attacks aren't as strategic as usual.." Alucard said as he dodged. "It's more rash and straight-forward..."
Harith didn't mind him and just kept on attacking...
"Is something wrong with you??" Alucard asked immediately after they finished their match.
"It's nothing..." Harith started to walk away.
After that encounter, Alucard was blindly staring at the walls of a pub...
"Hey!" He herd a cute voice...
"Big Brother Alucard! Hey!! Are you alright???" He looked around and saw the cute little Nana staring at him..
"What is this about?? Did Tigreal call for me??" He asked...
"No... Well.... Uh... Big Sis Rafaela said that she wants to go on a self improvement mission..."
"Why?"
"I-i don't exactly know the details... but I feel like it's really weird... You know that yesterday morning, she was lying on the floor-- unconscious..."
"It probably has something to do with him..." Alucard mumbled...
"Him?? That person??? Big Sis Rafaela's partner???"
"How do you know about him?" Alucard's face darkened...
"Ummmm... I know that he was corrupted by power... That's all!" Nana exclaimed...
"Argus... He was once an Angel-- The Angel of Darkness. The Angel that rids of all evil in our world... He and Rafaela was really close with each other-- They always went on missions together. All we know is that since he went to that self improvement mission he never came back... He was corrupted by power and we don't even know the reason... All that we know now is that he's been creating wars and bringing trouble for the empire..." Alucard went on... He knew that no matter how hard they try to keep them from finding out-- A secret can never remain a secret forever...
Nana was shocked to hear such a revelation!
When she felt that something was off...
There was something wrong...
*bam* Alucard suddenly collapsed...
Nana's face was filled with fear...
She called for the people around them, trying to get their attention so that they could bring Alucard to the infirmary...
-At the infirmary-
Alucard woke up feeling dizzy...
He remembered fragment of his dreams...
He saw his mother getting killed-- She was stabbed in her heart...
While he remembered the look in his father's face as he was sliced into pieces...
He remembered how he was tortured to death...
His face darkened...
But somehow he felt that he was not alone...
There he saw a person with blue hair sleeping in a chair beside his bed...
"You're awake..." The 'sleeping' person opened his eyes..
"What happened??"
"You passed out while talking with Nana..." Harith said as he went to fetch water...
Alucard calmed himself down as he kept on reminding himself that it was just a dream and that was in the past..
"Alucard???" Someone entered the room...
"Miya..." Alucard greeted the girl...
"I brought you a fruit basket..." Miya smiled at him and said: "Hey! You better recover and fast-- look how Granger will beat you in the demon hunter rankings!"
"Let him be-- he's just doing the job for the pay and the fun anyway... He won't care about that stupid rankings..." Alucard looked proud...
"*sigh* You're just saying that because you know that you won't be able to beat him.." Miya looked at him teasingly...
"Shut up!"
"So... what's your dream about??" Miya suddenly asked...
".... That tragedy..." Alucard's face darkened..
Miya nodded-- remembering what happened to him...
-A week later, Palace Gates-
The palace guards were happily chatting in a distance when a thin guy wearing an armor suddenly ran towards them ang shouted "He's here! he's back!!"
"Who??" A old man wearing an armor asked..
"The Death Chanter!" He said as a loud and annoying sound enter their ears...
All of them were annoyed but they decided to just stand still in order not to get killed even though they all really want to kill the person playing that annoying noise...
