When the light suddenly opened the girl whispered a name...
"Harley..."
"Huh??" Harith's eyebrows gave a questioning look..
"Hmmm... Who is here??" Harley looked around. "Gusgusion?? Alufeed?? Tiger?? Eren wannabe?? Little Red Riding Hood lookalike?? Half-breed?? Big sis Lesley??" Harley said everyone's names...
"Harley!" Nana showed herself from under the table...
"Nana!" Harley breathe a sigh of relief.
"What are you doing here??" Nana asked him as Harith came out from under the table with Nana...
"What you guys doing here?!?!" Harley was shocked to see his rival with his best friend.
Nana looked him with a smirk... She knew what he was thinking about...
"Oh, nothing much just chilling! Oh, and yeah Harley we should let Harith join the gang!!"
"Join??"
"Gang??"
Harley didn't want to let Harith join the gang but when he saw Nana's glimmering eyes he said to himself that he needed to...
Same as Harley, Harith also didn't want to join the gang but when he also saw Nana's glimmering eyes he started to have second thoughts...
"Chang'e, Diggie, and Cyclops would be glad if they knew that we had this strong ally joining the team!!" Nana said with gladness in her eyes. "I'm sure that Gusion-- one of the strongest Mages in the Land of Dawn would be an equal match to Harith and It'll be hard to find out the victor!!"
Harley was struck dumb when he herd Nana say that... She never says that he can beat Gusion but did she just say that this kid right here can!?!? Harley was enraged!! He wanted to challenge Harith to a match!!
While Harith was shocked to know that Nana thought of himself like something strong... Even though he couldn't save or protect anyone in the village. He was gald to know that someone still believes in his potential even though he failed them...
*Clank* They looked at the direction of the sound and saw Molina inside of a cupboard... Eating grains...
They realized where they are and what time it is so they hurriedly ate a couple of snacks before going upstairs to sleep...
As they where walking trough the dark halls of the palace they heard a sound... It was like a vase was broken...
They looked around and felt a shadow...
"Who's there?!" Harith and Harley asked in unison..
They heard a weeping...
Harley was creeped out by the sudden cry that he accidentally hugged Nana...
When he realized what he did... two pairs of eyes were staring at him.. He wanted to die out of embarrassment!!!
"Why..." Suddenly they heard murmurs in the distance as if saying something like 'di...v...e..'
When they heard that sound both of them wanted to look for who it was when Nana pushed them inside their bedrooms whispering "I'll tell you who it is later..." She said and casually walked away and entered her room as if she didn't hear a single sound before and as if that always happens in the palace...
When Nana disappeared, both of them got out of their rooms then saw each other...
"You!?!" Both asked each other in unison
"Tsk, Never mind..."
"Do you know what that sound was??" Harith asked Harley.
"No... I just arrived here a day before you.." Harley said and turned his head to look at the direction where the sound came from..
"Aren't you gonna wait for Nana to explain things tomorrow???" Harith asked Harley..
"Tsk, Nana's gonna lie to us... She wouldn't say what it truly is..." Harley looked at Harith "And I know that you also know that..."
"Tss, You aren't easy to fool..." Harith said as the bright sunny aura around him disappeared and changed to the aura of a serious person..
"I knew that it would be impossible for someone so strong to still have that bright sunny aura without a dark and serious one..." Harley mocked..
"Let's just go... I don't have time to bother with this..." He said and proceeded to the hall next to their bedrooms...
They looked ahed of them and saw something... specifically... SOMEONE..
There was a bright light at the end of the hall way and there a lady sat... staring deep into the moon...crying..
Both of them didn't know what to do so they muttered "B-big sis Rafaela.."
"Tss... I knew you guys wont be willing to listen to me..." Nana pulled their ears and brought them back to their rooms..
"Nana?!?! Why?!?!" Harley asked her..
"There are somethings better left unseen... You should've just listened to me..."
"B-but why was she crying?" Harith curiously asked...
"I don't know... When I first came to this place Big sis Miya saw me looking at that same sight in the middle of the night... She said that I should bury that scene and forget it, if I ever ever saw this happening again... I should just bring it to grave and leave it as it is... At first I didn't know why but that morning when I looked at Big sis Rafaela, I can see the facade she's putting up in front of us... She was pretending to be alright... I heard rumors about what happened... It was said that... Big Sis Rafaela had a partner and A friend... but he lost himself to power... He became corrupted and merciless... He became heartless... And Big Sis Rafaela blamed herself for being too weak... Being too weak that she couldn't save him..." Nana said and went to her room leaving the two of them dumb struck... Thinking about what they done...
