1 Prologue
"Finally i'm taking a vacation" Sitting next to the plane window and looking over the landscape with a little smile on his face while talking to himself.
Shane has been working almost non stop for 2 years, and considering that he is only 21 this year he is feeling bored and trapped in everyday life. So he decided to take a trip, so when he asked his family for any recommendations his mother mentioned Rome, Italy. (A/N:This is before the Corona/Covis-19 virus)
She said it was a great place and was there on her honeymoon with his father, so not really knowing anywhere better to go he booked the flight. Plus Roman history is pretty cool.
Looking down at his watch and seeing how long he has been on the flight. But before he could start there was an announcement from the captain.
Captain: "This is your captain speaking, we are 15 mins till landing so start waking up and making sure you have everything with you, and have a nice time in Rome, Italy!"
Nodding to myself, 'So it has been 8 hours, it went by relatively fast.' Checking my pockets and making sure I have my wallet and phone, which I do.

Walking through the airport in Rome while stretching my arms and legs with my bags and arriving outside and looking up at the moon, 'I need to find a cab to get to my hotel and i can start exploring Rome tomorrow!'
Waving down a cave and telling him the address, thinking to myself, 'Thank god he speaks english, i suck at speaking Italian.'
When i finally get to my hotel i pay the driver and walk inside the hotel to check in. Arriving at my room, I open the door and immediately put everything down by the bed and lay down and fall asleep.

Waking up and checking the time which read, 8:30am. Groaning and pushing myself up from the bed, I yawn and undress while walking to the bathroom to take a shower.
After getting everything done and getting dressed, i grab my wallet and phone to get ready to go have breakfast and go visit the Roman museum! It has everything to Roman and Greek art to weaponry!
Which will be awesome!

After finishing breakfast at a restaurant not far from the hotel, I call a cab and tell him the museum I'm going to. When we arrive I pay him and start admiring the building, when done I finally walk inside to explore!
After I spend an hour or so looking at the art and antiques I walk to the wing of the museum with the ancient weaponry. This will be my favorite part, I mean what man doesn't have dreams of slaying foes and have blood boiling battles!
When I get there I see some Roman swords, spears, daggers, and armor, along with some Greek swords, spears, daggers, and armor.
Shane:'Now that i saw everything here, i should go see the siege weapons!" Taking a last look around the room, i see a guy standing in front of a glass case to the left of the one i'm in front of.
Looking at the weapon inside of the case in front of the man , it's a spear but it's only about half of its original length with a very rusted and dull blade. Looking back at the man he seemed to be mumbling something.
Losing interest and a little creeped out, I turn around to go to the next exhibit.
But as I do, I hear the loud shattering of glass and being startled, I flinch and duck a little!
Shane:"The fuck!" I yell as I turn around to the source of the noise and notice the man from before surrounded by glass shards and with the spear in his hands!
When I yelled he stopped inspecting the spear and looked at me.
We are only about 6 feet away from each other and with him holding the spear which is about 3 feet he lunges at me with intending to stab me.
Shocked and a little scared I barely dodge it slashing the left side of my waist instead of it piercing my chest. Now in a lot of pain i cover the wound and got distracted which let him peirce me in the heart.
Looking down and grabbing the spear, I cough up some blood I softly mutter.
"Shit!"
Then everything immediately goes black!

"...e up…"
Tossing and turning trying to go back to sleep.
"..wa.e .p"
But now coming to what is happening and trying to force myself awake.
"WAKE UP"
Hearing the yell that seemed to reach the very depths of my soul, forcing me to wake up!
"GASP" Gasping awake i star to take some deep breaths to calm down as i start to look around!
But before i get to, i start seeing everything that happened to me, from the day of my birth to the day I died in my head all in a blink of an eye! I can remember what i ate for lunch when i was 5, and the perfect recall of everything said and thought that day!
The same can be said for every day of my life!
Dazed at all the new information that I'm remembering and experiencing, I failed to notice that I was in a throne room.
With a soul shaking, Humph the figure on the throne made its presence known!
When hearing the humph, I snapped out of the daze and looked to the throne and seeing a woman's figure with a blurry face sitting there lazely. But with not even being able to see the eyes of hers it felt like see was looking right through me, judging me.
"Uhh, where am i" Looking at the figure on the throne and asking, but to my knowledge it's not hard to guess. I have read a handful of stories that started out like this!
"Im GOD" Saying so as she sits up a little on her throne that made her radiate, what i can only assume to be divine might!
Alreading expecting that, I still felt my soul quiver a little in surprise and fear from feeling the divine might washing over me!
"You are probably wondering what you're doing here?" After a couple of seconds of silence GOD started speaking.
And not trying to push my luck I started to sit on my knees and bow my head a little to so some respect.
So when I heard GOD ask a question I quickly answered back.
"Yes" While nodding a little.
"I need your help" surprised, I looked up at GOD and continued to listen, "there is a parallel universe just like yours except for some differences, like some are born with powers."
Pausing, GOD lets me digist the information and then continues.
"Of course it is very rare, out of every 1 million person only about 100 people develop a power. They haven't developed a ranking system for the abilities yet. But you could rank them from 1-5"
While listening to GOD I was thinking how awesome it would be to live in that world.
"Now that you got all that information i will tell you why i need your help."
When hearing this I stop all the unnecessary thinking and just listen.
"I could tell you the whole story of how and why but i will keep it short. Somebody got a very, very strong ability they shouldn't have and didn't know how to use it so he accidently destroyed the planet. And if your wondering it was a level 5 ability"
Shocked, I ask a question, "So what do you need me to do?"
"Nothing, I just need you to take his place and you will get the ability. And i won't have to worry about you destroying the planet."
"That's all?"
"Yes, of course for your help I will let you choose 3 other abilities. But nothing I consider level 5, so don't push your luck." When GOD finished speaking it felt like the divine might got a little heavier!
"Okay but I was just wondering why choose me?" I'm a little curious, maybe I'm special or she took pity on me, something of the sort.
"It's nothing but a coincidence, the time period and place you're going is when the roman republic was still standing. So when I was going to choose who to send, you just so happened to die by a roman spear in the 21st century. Now no more questions and pick your powers."
Although disappointed I still start thinking about the powers I want. I want to ask what power I will get when I take that person's place, but I don't want to annoy GOD anymore then I already have.
I want a overpowered, but not overpowered ability. Otherwise I can kiss my chances goodbye.
After thinking a while I came up with them.
"I want Object Animation, deadpool level healing factor and Telekinesis" These are the most versatile powers I could think of right away.
Just Imagine with Object Animation I could give life to a 100 foot statue or an army of statues. And there's no need to explain telekinesis. And the healing factor can make me live longer.
As for the ability I will get when i get there i could only assume it is strong, i mean the guy destroyed the planet with it!
"Object Animation is a level 3 ability on the border to level 4, a Deadpool Healing factor is a level 4 and telekinesis is also a level 4 ability." After saying so she nods a little and starts to speak again.
"I will send you on your way now, Good Luck"
After saying that she snapped her fingers and I blacked out!
