9 Who are...you? (2)

Much to the dismay of his surrounding desk-mates, Yuuto ripped out a tiger-like yawn while resting his chin on his hands.

Aayaden to Yuuto's right fiddled with a pen and studied from a textbook, because as usual, he never studies before class. While Takeshi monotonously looked at his surroundings with crossed arms while the girls constantly snuck peeks at him.

Yuuto looked out the window and noticed that the outside world was filled with the refreshing air of spring.

The sakura petals drifted in the wind as the refreshing but slightly humid air hit his face…

"Oi, the teacher's here, dude. " Aayaden poked his shoulder as soon as a tall and gruff woman entered the room with a scoff.

Yuuto rolled his eyes as he looked at the woman: tall, muscular and more like a gorrila than an ideal and beautiful teacher.

Tch, the thing is, that she's way too strict. And the fact that she's the homeroom teacher doesn't help.

"Hello class, how's the morning going? " The homeroom teacher said as she smiled at the class, to which the boys and girls replied with a monotone yes.

Ignoring whatever the teacher was spewing out of her demon-mouth, Yuuto yawned at poked the shoulder of the 'handsome' Takeshi.

"What, friend? " Takeshi, the ever so brilliant honor student, replied with a stern tone with his eyes still on the mouth of the teacher.

"Tell me more about the transfer student, yo. I'm bored… "

"Sigh. What do you want to hear about her? "

"I don't know. Her name and her background? " Yuuto said as he looked at his classmates with squinted eyes.

The truth is, regardless of whatever it looks how much rich the students here are, only a certain percentage of them are from influential families, and the rich ones are even more rare. Most of the students, like more than half of them, are from low and middle class backgrounds and came here using scholarships; while students like Yuuto and his friends were the few bunch.

The truth is that the school had an immense reputation for allowing the rich to attend using back-doors, and to offset that they tried to lower their costs and accepted more honor students than rich ones.

Sigh. Yuuto remembered Ayumi and felt regret that she had to attend this school along with him just to take care of him, even though she could attend the top of the top ojou-sama schools…

No no no, even more than that, Yuuto felt guilty over keeping himself to her and not allowing her to have male friends…

"She's Sayeko Seira; every heard of her? " Takeshi said as he nonchalantly gazed at Yuuto.

Yuuto curved his eyebrows as he thought over the question directed at him. If she was a normal honor student, Takeshi wouldn't have asked the question of whether he had heard of her or not, so…

No, Yuuto had never heard of her name or her surname before this…

"Nope, I haven't heard of her before this."

"What? Are you deaf or something that you don't know about the Seira House? " Takeshi looked back and asked with the expression of seeing a clown raping someone on the road.

"Yikes, don't be so offended, dude. Is her family's grandfather under your old man or something? " Aayaden intervened with a harrump.

"No, but even more than that I'm surprised by the fact that the heirs of the two most influential families in the world don't pay attention to the news, or even anything else for that matter. "

"Now I'm starting to wonder, are you guys even literate? Or are you both secretly illiterate but bribed your way through high-school? "

Hearing the bad joke, Yuuto and Aayaden monotonously laughed and patted Takeshi on the back.

"Well, even if we were illiterate and wanted to bribe the school, it wouldn't be possible with our families anyway, right? "

"Yeah. "

Takeshi nodded and opened his mouth.

"Well, her na-"

Just as Takeshi turned around to explain with an calm face, a green eraser hit his head as he whimpered in surprise and looked at the teacher.

"Pay attention, Etozawa-kun! "

"Y-yes, ma'am. " Takeshi timidly nodded as the surrounding girls whimpered in empathy and plain devotion for their 'dream-like husband'.

"Etozawa-san, you should pay more attention to class. " A girl shyly said from the front as she looked at Takeshi in concern.

Takeshi, the school girls number one dreamy husband, winced in disgust, but smiled in reality and started a small conversation with the girl.

Looking at the guy that started to ignore the both of them, Yuuto and Aayaden scoffed simultaneously and leaned back on their chair with nonchalance.

"Class, I have something to say! Pay attention! "

The teacher clapped her humongous hands against each and tried to rouse the attention of the class, which was successful as the students stopped the chatter and looked at her with inquisitive looks.

Yuuto yawned while Aayaden, the pervert lady chaser's eyes turned into those depicted as 'beast-like lustful' in animes. It almost felt as if his eyes could rip through dimensions and brainwash aliens.

"I'm sure you don't know about this, but today we'll be getting a new transfer student from Kyoto! "

The tiger-like teacher said as spit flied all over the place, much to the disgust-filled reactions of the students. The teacher then came to the entrance of the class and opened it, and as soon as the door opened a white cane passed through it and waved itself in the air.

The cane slowly waved through the air— as if it was searching for any obstructions in front of it— and slowly receded as a girl gradually walked into the classroom.

She was a beautiful girl.

Too beautiful to be honest; because her entire aura was screaming out that she was a high-value noble girl.

The girl had a pastel-clear baby face, her face had no visible impurities or marks on it except for a small beauty mark on her chin; her nose was small and slightly red while her brown hair was of medium elbow length, the entire person felt as if she came straight out of an idol team filled with ojou-samas.

In short, she could even compare against Song in terms of cuteness…

...Hmm?

"… "

The transfer student's eyes were white; an abnormally hollow white color. It erratically moved around and looked at the spots that let out the brightest lights.

The students let out whinings of surprise as they saw her move while waving the white cane in front of her.

"Is she…blind?" A girl asked.

The homeroom teacher looked at the girl with a frown, which quickly dissuaded the curious girl. Then the teacher encouraged the transfer student to say hello with a friendly pat on her back.

"Students, let the transfer student introduce herself. Come on, introduce yourself. "

She slowly lowered her head and bowed with a low-emotional voice. Her skirt crumpled itself as her scarf wafted in air while she bowed.

"Sayeko Sera…nice to meet you… "

"As you can see…" She took a pause. "I am blind and can't see, so please don't be too rough on me. "

"My transfer here is a little bit late, I agree but it's urgent since my parents have transferred here for their job. "

"Please treat me well!"

The girl formed a quick and effective smile and turned towards the teacher. Her elegant manners which surpassed that of even Ayumi surprised the boys in the class as the drooled at her.

The teacher seeing Sayeko looking at her —not exactly her, but the wall behind her— nodded, not caring if she saw her nod or not, and scanned the classroom for empty seats.

Yuuto facepalmed himself while Aayaden chuckled as quiet as he could and patted him on the back.

"I think I made a great point when I named you harem protagonist back when we kids, bro. " Aayaden grinned as he looked at the seat available right towards the left of Yuuto.

Yuuto grimaced.

"There's a seat available next to Kazuya-kun! Kazuya-kun, come and escort her to her seat! "

The homeroom teacher found out that it would be a great way to introduce Sayeko to the class, so she had Yuuto to first come into contact with her.

Hearing Yuuto's name, Sayeko's eyebrows loosened and her lips —which were almost static-like emotionless before— fell.

Yuuto didn't notice that and instead walked towards Sayeko.

"Hello, Seira-chan. Nice to meet you, I hope we can be friends! " Saying the customary introduction, Yuuto bowed and without thinking, swiftly grabbed Sayeko's hands.

As soon as he grabbed onto her soft and charming hand that seemed as if ut was sculpted by god, a hesitating smile floated on his face as he remembered that ojou-samas generally don't like to be touched…

"A-ah?! " The girl meekly whimpered out of surprise as she slapped Yuuto's hands away, much to the dismay of Yuuto.

Yuuto wryly smiled as he shook his head.

"Ah, I'm sorry…I tend to get nervous around strangers. " The girl over-courteously bowed to him again with a face filled with fear.

Yuuto had a surprised expression on his face as he looked at the girl who was still bowing, even after five seconds had passed by without notice.

"It's okay. You can spare the formalities by the way. " Yuuto smiled and with great effort, guided her to her seat without touching her.

Finally, with a sigh, Yuuto sat back on his seat and tried his best to ignore the conversation happening beside him until his turn came.

"So, are you really blind, Seira-chan? " A girl asked.

"Yes. I can't see anything, except bright lights… " Sayeko said as she vaguely smiled.

As the girl became disinterested and turned back to her world, Yuuto grinned and looked at Sayeko.

Now that he looked at her from point-blank range, he feel as if he had met her somewhere before, but that isn't and can't be possible as he'd generally imprinted the faces of everyone he'd seen when he was a child. So there was no chance of a long-lost childhood friend or a long-lost fiancée trope..

"Regardless, it's unusual for a transfer student to come before summer vacation, isn't it?"

Yuuto tried to make small talk with Sayeko casually.

But the transfer student ignored him with a meek tremble.

"Haha…maybe you're nervous. You'll get used to it slowly. "

"…" The transfer student made a small nod.

Yuuto didn't get it, she talked normally with that girl but…

Well, maybe she's just nervous around dudes, ay?

"So, where is your hometown, I mean, were you born in Tokyo or somewhere else? "

"I'm from Sapporo, just so you know. It's not exactly my hometown, but my father came from there. " Yuuto said as he used his friend-making tactics.

Reveal a bit of backstory about yourself and the other person will automatically feel more close and more comfortable about you, because the other person will think that you trust him, or her with your secrets.

See?

Even Yuuto was a bit of a psychological thriller maniac.

"I see…m-my hometown is Kyoto. I was born there and until my transfer, I had never stepped a foot outside that city. "

Sayeko looked at her feet and passively replied. The way she positioned her head made it so that her expression couldn't be seen.

Yuuto clicked his lips. Such is the way of life for ojou-samas.

"Never? You never went outside of Kyoto? "

"I think that I'm more fortunate now that I've seen your situation, since I've never went outside of Japan and I thought that was restrictive, hah!"

"Yes…I've never went outside of Kyoto because my father doesn't let me…"

"Hmm, ever went to the beach? "

"I have, on school trips however. "

"That's sad, you should totally visit Sapporo and it's port! I guarantee you, the beach there is absolutely beautiful!"

"…B-but I can't swim? " Sayeko looked towards Yuuto and flashed a smile, a sad but simple smile.

"Who said that you have to swim to enjoy visiting the ocean and the beach? You can totally be just a bystander and still enjoy going there! "

"I see… so, can you swim, Kazuya-san? "

Yuuto scratched the back of his head as he let out a hapless chuckle.

"I can, but then again, I almost drowned a month ago trying to swim. So… "

Sayeko empathetically nodded as she turned back and took out a notebook from her backpack.

"It happens often Kazuya-san, my mother is an adept swimmer but she also would've drowned one day if my father wasn't there… "

"When did that happen? "

"Oh…um, three years ago exactly. I wasn't there along with them though, so I can't say how it happened. "

Yuuto nodded and looked at the neat, scratch-less notebook in Sayeko's hands.

After a small pause, Yuuto continued.

"Say, I have never been to any other school except this so I don't know; but don't you miss your previous school? Or your friends? "

"…friends? " Sayeko chuckled as she shook her head, to her the word itself felt foreign-like.

"…? "

"…I don't have friends. You see Kazuya-san, I used to study at an all-girls school back in Kyoto, but it's a bothersome matter that the girls there were and still are vain to the point that I was ostracized just due to my family name...I didn't like them anyway."

"So no, I don't miss anything from Kyoto, Kazuya-san."

Yuuto frowned in confusion. Family name? She's talking about her surname, Seira, right? Then how can it be that he doesn't know anyone from her surname.

And even then, she was bullied, or as she put it, ostracized just due to her surname or wealth? Huh? How is that…even possible.

"My only friends are my maids, I was raised along, and by them so they're more like my sisters… "

Yuuto took it on slowly as he nodded and tried to pat the back of Sayeko as encouragement, but he remembered her no-touch policy as he retracted his hands.

"I..uh, don't watch news as much as I'd like so I don't know much about the business world of lately. So forgive me since I don't know about your family…"

Yuuto helplessly smiled as he watched the surprised face on Sayeko.

"You have…never heard of the «Seira House» before, Kazuya-san? " Sayeko said as her fingers glided on top of the smooth cover on the notebook.

Yuuto shrugged. "Never, this is the first time I'm hearing about them. "

Sayeko moved her head towards the window as she gazed —regardless of whether she could see or not— at the cherry trees lining the school.

"I see; so you weren't talking to me just to earn my family's friendship? "

"No, because I don't think I need to manipulate someone to be my friendship. Furthermore, I'm really curious towards you. "

"I see…nonetheless, I hold disbelief over what you're saying. "

Sayeko turned around and elegantly smiled at him; her baby-like cute face and her lips shined at that very moment she smiled.

"But I don't think you have any reason to lie, Kazuya-san. Withholding the fact about your own background, you're a good conversationalist and have a nice voice; and I believe that the people that smell nice and have nice voices can't lie. "

Sayeko put her hands on her mouth and elegantly chuckled, and the small ring on her ring finger shone as it caught Yuuto's attention.

So she's already engaged?

Oh well.

"That's a nice…belief, to say the least. "

"Indeed. And even though it sometimes creates stupid situations for me, I still whole-heartedly believe in it. "

"Because it's nice to believe in something, isn't it? "

Sayeko paused as she turned around, and looked at Yuuto —more likely the space behind him— with her hollow, white eyes.

Yuuto felt a bit discomfort from being stared at that way, but he smiled and continued on with the conversation nonetheless.

"Regardless Seira-chan, I don't think they bullied you based on your background. "

"Huh? Why would you think so, Kazuya-san?" Sayeko whimpered as her smile died down and was replaced by a curious one.

"The thing is, I don't know the context nor the situation when you were bullied, but I think that the reason you were bullied was due to the fact that you're really beautiful. "

Yuuto chuckled as he looked at Sayeko's face, which was slowly glowing red.

Sayeko pleasantly smiled. Yet the blush on her face didn't reside as it instead bloomed like a flower.

"Are you hitting on me, Kazuya-san? "

Yuuto hearing that chuckled even more.

"I'm afraid I'm not, because after seeing that ring on your finger, I don't want to take our conversation to somewhere else. "

"And besides, adultery is meaningless. What's the value in stealing something if it can be stolen away from you as easily as you stole it? "

"Uhuh…you have a really interesting view on adultery, Kazuya-san, have you ever tried it before? " Sayeko giggled.

"Heh, you're talking as if I have a girlfriend or something. " Yuuto chuckled, fully knowing and understanding why Sayeko was trying to skirt around the topic.

"Do you? "

"Nope. I don't have one. " Yuuto smirked as he looked at the homeroom teacher.

The moment Yuuto lazily let out a yawn during a class in which he was boringly reviewing materials that he already knew, his homeroom teacher, who was teaching the class, sent him a glance. Whatever. It seems that his homeroom teacher was just going to leave it at that since she went back to teaching.

As soon as the homeroom teacher passed on the order of reviewing the materials, Yuuto felt a finger prod his shoulders as he turned towards the finger.

Sayeko was looking at him with an embarrassed flush on her face as she meekly retracted her fingers.

"Um, I-I forgot to bring my braille textbooks and my audio books, so could you p-please read the textbooks to me? "

"I know it's bothersome b-"

Of course it's bothersome! Yuuto clicked his tongue as he immediately took his textbook and came closer to Sayeko by moving his chair towards her.

The homeroom teacher noticed this as she frowned, but she remembered that Sayeko was blind and just decided to ignore this for now.

Aayaden, as always, was way too entrapped in his drawings that he didn't even manage to notice when and what happened when his best buddie disappeared from beside him and appeared beside a beautiful lady. Takeshi also rolled his eyes at Aayaden along with his 'harem'.

"Oh well, you're a friend so I'll help you out, okay? "

Yuuto smiled and flipped the pages of the textbook, whilst he was doing so he didn't manage to see the wonderful smile on Sayeko's face.

After a few minutes passed and the reviews of the study materials were over, Yuuto sighed and he reclined on his chair and rested his tongue.

Sayeko nodded.

"You have a really…magnetic voice, Kazuya-san… "

"Really? Must be inheritance from my grandfather, who used to have a good voice suited for a singer back in his days…or as he says that is, frankly, I don't believe them… "

"Eh? Your grandparents don't keep recordings or videos of… their younger times? " Sayeko had a baffled expression on her face as she mistakenly leaned on Yuuto.

"Huh? Recordings? "

"Yes. My grandparents do; they really like to listen to the voice they used to have when they were younger. "

That…sounds a lot like their grandparents are narcissists…doesn't it? And from her expression, Yuuto could guess that she was sheltered to such extents that she didn't know things such as narcissism or something…

Oh well, Yuuto wouldn't tell her that though, since that would be crossing boundaries too early.

"Nope, mine don't. "

"I see… "

Realizing that the atmosphere was becoming awkward due to Sayeko's shoulder touching his own, Yuuto chuckled and moved a bit towards his left.

As he was moving to his left, his eyes erratically deviated from its planned trajectory and landed on the seat two seats in front of him, which effectively made him notice Sakuya devotedly studying with a focused expression.

Yuuto's expression turned comedic as he drooled at her figure like a lustful monkey.

Nonetheless, he soon returned his sight back to Sayeko as he smiled at her.

"Say, Kazuya-san. "

She took a slight pause.

"What's your view on wealth, and on your own, wealth? "

Yuuto felt that the question was too sudden, but looking at the pressing—maybe—gaze on Sayeko he decided to just say it.

It's not like he'll be chatting with this girl every day, since things like these tend to fade away very quickly.

"I think my —and everyone's —views on wealth depend on when and what situation and context I am undergoing through when you ask me about it — for example, I'm rich from birth so I don't give as much value to money I would've done if I was born poor or something. But then again, I do value money and want to earn it in the future. "

"But then again, all of this doesn't matter in the end, because we're all going to die and become fertilizer — unless you decide to die in a pyramid that is, that's your choice. "

"I don't take pride in being born in a wealthy family nonetheless, because I didn't earn it by myself nor did I spill sweat or money on it. "

"I see, that's a rather interesting approach regarding…life… "

"Aren't you sad that you'll die, Sayek- I mean, Seira-chan? "

"No, because I already know from birth why and how my life will pass by. I won't regret anything, even if I die in solitude. "

Sayeko charmingly giggled, while Yuuto shrugged.

The bell rang throughout the school once again to signify that the break had been commenced. The school girls gathered around in front of Sayeko's table and asked her countless questions, much to the overwhelming helplessness of Sayeko.

Yuuto chuckled as he took out his holy bento,—which he regrettably didn't forget back in his house; otherwise he'd be able to get some fan-service from Ayumi— and unclasped the upper part of it.

Looking at the traditionally cooked and absolutely succulent rice along with some stir fried chicken and vegetables, Yuuto felt a tyrannical hunger assault his brain as he looked at Aayaden.

Aayaden smirked at him with pity as he pointed at his own deluxe-sized bento filled with food capable of hindering the thought process of even the most stoic Buddhist monks.

Yuuto looked at his own bento and Aayaden's one back and forth with an expression of 'not being able to decide' and scoffed.

Aayaden laughed with schadenfreude laced in his tone, whilst then he sent his hands into his bento as he snacked on the food like a tiger.

Looking at his immoral eating manners, Takeshi groaned while even Yuuto, who was renowned for relishing on food with sounds comparable to jets taking off, frowned in discomfort.

"Heh, try to tempt me as much as you want; but my Aneki's cooking trumps over your meager mortal food with boundless taste! "

"Yeah, even my imouto cooks better than your chef, Aayaden! "

Looking at the two men covetously looking at his bento, Aayaden chuckled and licked his lips in an exaggerated way.

"… "

"… "

"Yo, why are you both so angry? I obviously came here with a deluxe-sized bento to share, right? " Aayaden smiled as he took both of their bento and dropped some of the food in his into theirs.

"Yikes, don't tell me you laced them with poison? Because I feel that you have an ulterior motive that made you share the food with us. " Yuuto said as he sat down and started to eat from his bento.

Delicious soft and tender chicken meatball packed with ham flower, fruits, crab salad, egg, and broccoli, corn, extra tender hamburger steak, corn and lastly, an oval onigiri…

The bento was over-filled, and if just another thing was added on top of them; it would crash and fall on the desk.

"Yo, you didn't tell me about the «Seira House», dude. " Aayaden poked Takeshi's shoulder, to which Takeshi grunted and replied to as quickly as he could.

"«Seira House» is one of the rare noble lineages left behind after the second war, it turns out that their family aided the country back in the war, and unlike the other noble samurai lineages that fell one by one after countless schemes targeted after them, «Seira House» however, managed to stay afloat since Sayeko's great-grandfather had an alarming talent for business. "

"Now «Seira House» has been enjoying more glory and power than their pre-war days, their list of interests include education, law and primarily the technological industry. "

"Last time I heard, one of their relatives was appointed to the position of the Governor of Osaka. "

"Damn, that's some…wait, that isn't really much compared to your and Yuuto's family is it? "

"Indeed. Right now, the Kazuya family is slathering the country in butter and eating it too. " Takeshi replied as he took a bite of the onigiri.

"But the thing is, none of us are as wealthy as the Littauer family — the so king of the oil industry. " Yuuto said as he applied blubber on Aayaden.

Aayaden blushed as he smirked and scratched the back of his head.

"Aw, it doesn't matter anyways. The wealth isn't mine, and furthermore, I foresee harder times for myself as I have to fight my three older brothers for the throne… "

"Hey, we're here for you! " Yuuto patted Aayaden's back.

"Me too; just don't expect me to do it for free or something… " Takeshi said as he smacked his lips and tasted the delicious corn.

"Yeah yeah, I'll flood your house with oil. How does that sound? "

"Perfect. "

"Hey, what do you have for lunch? "

Yuuto turned towards Sayeko and asked with an inquisitive smile.

"You're here just in time, Kazuya-san. "

Sayeko removed the top portion of her bento with an excited smile, that was still elegant yet managed to show her emotions.

The both of them didn't know why, but their friendship in such short while managed to bloom towards the heaven without obstacles.

"Ah! Smells delicious! " Sayeko exclaimed softly as she took her chopsticks and prodded the food in the bento.

Yuuto slightly frowned as he looked at the 'delicacies' in the bento box.

A tuna sandwich smothered with mustard, whole grain crackers, and single, lone boiled egg…

Suddenly, Yuuto started to be suspicious over whether Sayeko was the bastard child of the family head.

"So…? "

"Yeah! It's more that usual! A sandwich and an egg, I feel more hungry that usual just from smel-"

Sayeko was excitingly talking about her food as she looked at Yuuto—or more likely the spot behind him— and stopped.

She bowed and swiftly said in an apologetic voice.

"I apologize, Kazuya-san. I recognize that what I was saying before is unusually un-ladylike for me to behave. "

She lifted her head as she revealed her cute, baby-like charming face flushed due to embarrassment.

Yuuto smiled as from her manners, he remembered a ce-.

Yuuto clicked his tongue.

"Nope, it doesn't matter to me whether you're womanly or not Seira-chan. You can expose whatever and however you are to me, because I'm your friend, remember? "

"And friends don't judge each other, maybe they do. But I don't."

Yuuto grinned as he pointed at Aayaden.

Aayaden waved at them with his mouth filled with food.

"You might not understand where and what I'm pointing at right now; but know that I'm pointing at a fatty who's mouth is filled with countless pounds of food; and he's my friend. No, not a friend; but a best friend! "

Aayaden hearing Yuuto speak nodded and looked at Takeshi, as if he waiting for Yuuto to point at him and expose all of his illicit behaviors.

But to his disappointment, Yuuto retracted his hand and went back into conversation with Sayeko.

"Fooking bastard. Always playing favorites, ay? " Aayaden went back to his meal.

"The point is, drop all of your fake behavior. I don't like people who fool others using their fake personalities, regardless of whether it is intentional or not. " Yuuto said as he glanced at Sayeko's bento.

"I see…I never had real friends before so I didn't know that…hm, I should expose all of myself towards my friends…? "

"I see. "

"Generally, do you always eat this much food? " Yuuto asked as he looked at Sayeko's bento once again with a curious gaze.

Sayeko nodded.

"Yes. My food is always measured by every gram and recommended by certified nutritionists, so that I don't grow fat or muscular. "

"Why? Is there too much protein or calorie in this meal? If so, my chef must've made a mistake. I can't eat this then… "

Yuuto looked at the Sayeko pitifully looking at her bento—not her bento but the female classmate in front of hers ass— and frowned.

Is this the so called 'ojou-sama grooming program' shown in animes?

Yuuto banged his fist—although rather softly—on Sayeko's desk, which managed to shock her out of her spiral of self-loath and also get out a a shriek of surprise from her.

"W-who is it? " Sayeko asked as she put her hands on her body in a defensive posture and glanced at her surroundings.

"Its me… "

"Oh, so it's you Kazuya-san? What's the matter, what happened? "

"Nothing, really. I just wanted to say, do you really eat this much every day at lunch? "

"Yes I do, but is this considered too much…? "

"Lady, this isn't too much, but it's too less! "

"Wh-what? But isn't this the ideal meal for a lady?! "

"Gosh, my aneki eats more than you, yet she's weights just as much as you do! "

"B-but how is that even possible? "

"…Are you seriously saying this, or do you have anorexia? "

"What is anorexia? "

"…Um, it's a mental illness where people eat less and less in an attempt to lose weight; and even when they're bone-thin, they still think they're fat — its that type of mental illness. "

Sayeko had a surprised expression on her face as her mouth formed an egg-like 'o' shape.

"That's…really interesting! There isn't a cure for it? "

"You're deviating from answering me, and; no, it doesn't have a cure except for therapy or something, I don't exactly remember. "

"Oh I see! "

"And no, from your description, it doesn't seem like I have anorexia or anything related to it. It's just that…isn't this what the ladies of noble houses eat? "

"No, they don't! Even I come from one, and my aneki doesn't eat like that! "

"Is this true?! "

"Of course it is true, why would you think I would lie to you, about FOOD? "

"Makes sense… "

Yuuto watched the girl go into her own world as she wandered over the sudden revelation with the most shocked expression in her life.

"Hey, I have something for you. You said you never ate more than this, correct? "

"Indeed. I have ne-"

"Good, now eat this. "

Yuuto said as he smiled and without warning, dumped half of the content in his bento into Sayeko's bento.

"What did you…? " Sayeko's eyebrows twitched as she heard the sound of something soft drop into her bento, and as she prodded it with her chopsticks…

She gasped.

"Now eat this, and don't worry because I won't tell anyone about this. Besides, this amount of food generally doesn't make someone fat. "

"Hmmm…okay? B-but you'll have to take responsibility! "

Sayeko said as she looked at Yuuto with a pressing gaze.

Yuuto yawned.

"Sure, I could marry you if you get fat… "

"I didn't mean that type of responsibility! I meant that if I get fat, I'll sue you! "

"Yeaaaah, go ahead. " Yuuto blew off Sayeko's concern with a wave of his hands and considered if his lengthy conversation with Sayeko was a waste or not…

"Say, Kazuya-san? "

"Yeah? "

Yuuto turned back toward Sayeko with a disinterested gaze.

"Are all men…as nice as you? " Sayeko said with a smile on her lips as she tasted the food in the bento.

Yuuto frowned a bit, and nodded.

"It depends. You're beautiful and generally, every man will be nice to you. "

"I see…but isn't that rather shallow? "

"Well, everyone in this world is shallow to a certain extent. No one is truly bad or evil in this world either, but only neutral. But it depends on who's seeing it and the context. "

"I see, so was my face the main reason you tried to strike up a conversation with me? "

"Not exactly, but I was interested due to the fact that you were blind. Essentially, I was curious about you and how you spent everyday up to this point. "

"I see…thanks for being interested, Yuuto-kun. "

"Can I call you by your first name, Kazuya-san?"

"Go ahead, call me without honorifics for all I care. "

"I see. "

….

….

Yuuto looked at his watch as he chatted with Aayaden. In front of him were the gates of his school.

Littauer International School.

Yup, it was owned by the Littauer family, the rich family filled with oil barons.

Littauer International School was one of the most prestigious international schools from Germany, and is affiliated with a certain German college. Even ij this country, their teaching method involves using pure English on teaching their students.

Since it's an aristocratic college, they would naturally, in order to maintain a good school atmosphere other than having exorbitant school fees, not allow its admission where any random stranger could go in even after having donating funds to the school.

Unless it was someone affiliated with the Littauer family that is, if so, fuck the principals daughter and he'll grace you with a smile.

Towards the school's admission, they have a very stringent selection process.

Yuuto snuck a glance at those plainly decorated yet style undeprived gates of Littauer college; it's not the school's dismissal timing so far, yet there's all sorts of luxury sedans by the roadside.

To be frank, Yuuto had the feeling that all of the sedans present could even be used for an auto show.

Those luxury sedans were those superior kinds that were usually difficult to even witness appearing on the roads, while there's a couple of limited edition sports cars amongst them as well.

Whilst there were still some low-priced cars amongst those vehicles, but then he noticed that those few low-priced cars possessed insanely wicked license plate numbers…

Yikes. But even then, those were way too low class for him even, since those wicked numbe-

Suddenly, he noticed that amongst a crowd of clean and dark suited men clearly meant to be bodyguards, a girl with a baby face was elegantly walking.

The men weren't some low-class bodyguards either, they were equipped with powerful arms and had mean grins on their faces.

But even then, the security was overwhelming! 25 bodyguards and judging by the black cars in front of them laden with a red carpet, he could judge that the entire situation was too…suspicious.

"Hey, isn't that…Sayeko? "

Aayaden squinted his eyes as he managed to catch the figure hidden within the bodyguards..

"Yeah, it's her."

"Hey, why is her security so overwhelming? Even Takeshi and you don't have this many bodyguards, do you? "

"Yes… "

Suddenly, Yuuto's voice went out as he noticed a small white line of writing hidden on the door of the escort limousine.

Kazuya Security Group.
