Chapter Two: Welcome

Hawk blinked at the wild felines' friendliness. Weren't they all just attacking them like.. two seconds ago? "I'm Cappuccino!" Cap mewed, keeping his childish, friendly nature… despite originally being pinned to the ground by a molly a bit ago. Hawk then noticed it was his turn to introduce himself, suddenly getting a bit nervous as he shuffled his paws, facing the snow underneath him. "I'm Hawk." He muttered, twitching his ear as he looked at the three wild felines. "Well, Hawk.. Cappuccino.. would you like to-" he was cut off by Cap who suddenly picked up his plush and purred "Ah! I forgot, this is Mr. Wubbles!" He purred, his tail twitching in the snow excitedly. "Mr.. what?" Blizzard'pounce meowed, tilting her head to the side as she looked at the odd looking plushie. "His name is Mr. Wubbles! He's been with me for as long as I can remember." Cap admitted, a childish smile on his face. Hawk looked at his rather excited friend and back at the strangers "S-sorry.. Falcon…. what were you saying?" He murmured, giving his companion a glance to not interrupt anymore.

"Would you like to join us in Blizzard'clan? We do enjoy having new members join our ranks." The tabby tom purred.

"Ah.. well-" "We'd love to!" Cappuccino interrupted Hawk in a burst of excitement, jumping up and down like a young kit. Hawk blinked at his friend but couldn't help but smile and slightly nudged him "Calm down, dummy." He scoffed. "We'd uh.. yeah, we'd love to join!" The gray male purred, standing and shaking out his fluffy pelt. Only now he realized this was not exactly a well thought out decision; due to them joining a group of cats blindly without realizing what they were getting themselves into. Plus, they'd be leaving their housefolk without saying goodbye. They must feel quite distraught to see their lovable felines suddenly disappear into the unknown.

"Well then.. follow us. We'll take you to Juniper'star." Falcon'swoop meowed warmly, ultimately disrupting Hawk's anxious thoughts. "Oh uh.. okay!" Hawk mewed, trying to get his mind off those thoughts. "Who's.. Juniper'star?" Cappuccino mewed as he placed his plushie on his back and began to follow the clan cats. Maple'paw turned to look at Cappuccino, his fluffy stub twitching curiously. "She's the leader of our clan! Don't be nervous though.. she's really nice!" The young tom informed the house cats. "She sounds quite nice with that name." Hawk commented, swaying his tail side to side.

He began to space out, not exactly observing the scenery despite how beautiful it was. Cappuccino on the other paw nearly ventured off, away from the group multiple times due to his more curious nature. 'I wonder if they will let us keep our names.. that'd be nice. I really do like my name.. and I doubt Cap would ever want to change his own as well. If Juniper'star is as nice as Maple'paw suggested.. she might let us. Hm.. how odd to have two names. And why have 'paw at the end of your name as well? Do most cats have 'paw at the end of their name? How many cats are there in this cla-' his deep thoughts was cut short as he accidentally bumped into Blizzard'pounce who gave a confused glance at him. Hawk flinched and stepped back "S-sorry. I wasn't paying attention." He apologized, beginning to face the ground. Blizzard'pounce began to purr "Don't sweat it, kittypet! We only stopped because we're at our destination." The alabaster and ebony colored molly informed, smiling at him. "Huh?" He looked up, tilting his head as he looked around "I um.. huh? There's just snow… and more snow.. and uh… t r e e s." The tabby murmured, quirking up an eyebrow. Did he miss it?

"Well you won't be able to see it right away.. but..," Falcon'swoop chuckled, stepping out of the way to reveal a tunnel, "this is our camp entrance. Basically, where the clan resides." The brown tabby purred, blinking his yellow eyes at the two. "Wha- oh. How far does it go down?" Hawk mewed, crouching down to look inside curiously. The tunnel entrance was mainly sheltered by a bush, hiding it quite well. He had only then noticed it when Falcon had gestured towards it before. "You'll have to see for yourself." Maple'paw snickered, bounding through the tunnel that supposedly led to a.. camp. The other two clan cats followed, leaving Cappuccino and Hawk sitting there for a moment. "Race ya." Cap snickered, quickly scrambling into the hole "wH-" Hawk quickly scrambled after him, though they both ended up losing their own footing due to not realizing how steep this tunnel was. They tumbled down together, Cappuccino landing on his stomach and Hawk tumbling into him, resulting in a 'oof' like sound. They both looked up after their sudden tumble to see a cavern full of distinctive cats with different traits. "Welcome to Blizzard'clan."
