Cleon meets *SYSTEM*

(???'S POV)

The sound of alarm clock rings and the sun illuminates the room, waking up a young boy from his sleep. The boy yawns before opening his eyes, what welcomed his morning is a rather strange room without any decorations, only a single king size bed and a table beside it is inside the room, the curtains are also gray in color while the room is pure white making it as plain as it gets. The boy, even though half asleep stood up and walks towards the bathroom, he washed his face and fully woke up. He then sat on the bed and started thinking.

???: "What is happening?"

The boy doesn't have any memories whatsoever, he doesn't know who he is, where he is and why he doesn't have his memories. Strangely enough, he doesn't even feel confused even with the situation he is in, for some reason he can think rationally. He first observed his body, nothing seems to be out of place, he stood upand walked infront of the mirror inside the restroom. What greets him is a boy about 178 cm tall, pale white skin and the most eye catching is his eye, it looked like its filled with hatred, a sharp almond brown eyes looked at him in the eye.

???: "Wow, such sharp eyes."

He stared at his eye, he seems captivated with the power his eyes conveyed, he tried glaring at the mirror. He wanted to know what it would look like for that sharp eyes if it glared to someone.

???: "Ugh!"

Not even a second later he looked away from the mirror and steadied his gaze. He held his head with his palm in dizziness. The fear he felt when he looked at those eyes made him feel strange. Because of it, he can only look at those eyes for a second, he wanted to try again. He glared at the mirror but what he saw was completely different.

What he saw was his face but unlike before the eyes that looked back at his was relaxed, they were big round, brown eyes. Those eyes seems to show kindness to him that he ended up copying those kind eyes. After successfully copying those kind eyes, his reflection in the mirror smiled at him.

???: "Strange, I'm not smiling though."

Out of confusion, he unknowingly smiled, and after he managed to convince himself that what he sees infront of his is only his reflection, he closed his eyes.

When he opened his eyes, something more strange greeted him. What floats infront of him is a blue pannel containing the words "CONGRATULATIONS ON OVERCOMING YOUR HATRED"

???:"What is this? Congratulations on overcoming your hatred? What does that mean?"

The glowing letters infront of him changed as if it was triggered by his question.

"SYSTEM CAN NO LONGER DETECT ANY ANGER COMING FROM THE HOST. THE FIRST QUEST IS NOW COMPLETED. THE REWARD CAN NOW BE DISTRIBUTED. WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECIEVE THE REWARD?"

(GOD'S? POV)

In a dark room where only the lights of a tv screen provides light, a person looking at the screen shows a wicked grin.

Angel 1:"Your highness, its seems like ??? successfully activated the system."

The angel? broke the silence and talked to the person infront of the tv screen.

GOD?:"Seems like it, my prediction is onpoint after all."

The angel then instantly disappeared leaving the man infront of the tv alone.

GOD?:"Well then, please help me ???, I know you are the key for my escape."

The tv turned of letting the darkness consume the entire room. As the room faded into the darkness, the man also disappeared alongside the light.

(???'S POV)

???:"Well for now, show me the reward."

"CERTAINLY "

This time instead of showing as letters, the words were conveyed directly into his ears.

As the he heared those words, he immediately heared footsteps from outside the room, as the footsteps stopped infront of the door, a knocking sound can be heared, then a woman's voice softly calls for the boy.

Woman?:" Young master Cleon, I'm entering."

The boy, Cleon swiftly went back to his bed and covered himself with the blanket.

Woman:"Young master, it's time to wake up."

The woman said cheerfully as she opened the curtains allowing the sunlight enter the plain white room.

While under the blanket, the informations *the preview* flashed Cleon's mind. Cleon uncovers himself and greeted the woman.

Cleon:"Good morning, Claire."

Cleon said while acting like he just woke up.

Claire:"Good morning young master, your father is already in the dining table waiting for you for breakfast."

Claire said while smiling at her young master who is rubbing his eyes.

Cleon:"Alright, I'll go down after a quick shower."

While watching the retreating back of her young master, Claire can't help but notice something strange about him, today he looked more relaxed and cheerful unlike his usual self that looked like he is full of hatred.

Claire:"It seems like the young master is growing without me even knowing, please rest assured madam, I'll watch young master as he grows as a splendid man and hepl him whenever he needs help."

Claire said in a low voice, seeing her young master's cheerful face devoid of hatred that he previously shows, Claire can't help but report this wonderful growth of Cleon to his mother. Claire knows that even without her reporting this to her, she obviously knows this change from Cleon.

Claire:"Yes, because madam surely is watching us."

Cleon is a cheerful child, he was showered with love by the people around him and by his father. When the boy, Cleon turned 10, he heard from some strangers that his mother's death is because of him. From then on he became a different person, his eyes always shows deep hatred and so he became feared by the people. He didn't do anything to others, he didn't behave violently but he himself doesn't know how he feels and to whom will he direct that hatred of his. Then one night, when he coincidentally overheared a conversation from a high ranking noble about his mothers death, his hatred consumed him and he lost consciousness. That's the time when GOD? bestowed upon him the *SYSTEM*. in which resulted to Cleon's memory to be erased.

Since Cleon is so near to knowing the truth about his mother's death before his memories was erased, only time can tell if the timing of the SYSTEM'S appearance is a blessing or a disaster.
