2 The Meeting with the Goddess

~~~Kairo POV~~~
As I wake up I see a blinding white light, a lady in her 20's greeted me saying "Welcome Kairo, You may not remember anything as death wipes away the memories of your past life." Thinking to myself (I died??) trying to think of what happened, then incomes a blinding headache. as I halt my thoughts on my past life the headache slowly fades away and the Goddess continues her speech. "In your past life, you have done many great deeds to the fate of humanity and the gods have collectively decided to reincarnate you." I thought (Wow my past life must have been amazing, she has done many great deeds to the fate of humanity so that must mean I was a really nice and kind person and I guess I'm going to have a second life even though I don't remember my first.) The goddess said "As a personal gift from me I will give you a System with a small perk based on your deeds in your past life" as she ends her small speech I slowly start to fall unconscious.
~~~Goddess POV~~~

Looking at Kairo makes me think of his past life, one of the saddest stories possible. A small child growing up with his whole family dying of unfortunate accidents that totally 100% totally did not happen by accidents of multiple gods. At the age of 4, both parents died from Zeus knocking over his thunderbolt and causing a rain of thunder to fall into Kairo's house. Decimating both his parents while Kairo somehow survives, and at the same time, a horde of Truck-Kuns fly through the air in a Tornado which somehow also contained sharks, crashed and killed all other possible relatives of Kairo. With his entire family Tree annihilated back to back this caused Kairo to live life every day in depression, after that day the cheerful genius flipped his personality while keeping his facade as the same cheerful little kid to fool the manipulative grown-ups who wanted his wealth. Seeing as Kairo is waking up I seal his memories and give an excuse that death causes everyone to lose their memories. I also explain to him that the gods collectively agreed to let him reincarnate, of course, that was all my work as I lectured the other gods for hours and hours until they relented. Deciding that a simple reincarnation wasn't good enough for Kairo I decided to give him a system and a few other perks to aid him in his journey as I sent him off into the world of Ammeria.
