6 Chapter 6 - Ryuu

"I heard you had a pet, Damien?", she said, "I hope it doesn't end up like the last one", a shiver ran through me. The last one?

I felt the heat of another body behind me, I turned ready to scream but my mouth was covered quickly by a large hand.

The big back that hunched abnormally behind me was easy to recognize. Having someone kidnap you really formed a bond between the victim and offender.. please note the sarcasm.

"Easy", he hushed reassuring at me and I felt ready to bark but also abit uncomfortable at the closeness.

He pulled me into another room, litterally lifting me off the floor and walking his 6 foot something body. Heck even six foot was an underestimate. However in contrast to his size he didn't make a single sound.

This room was the opposite of Lorraines room. It was small, simple and had a notable lack of furniture. No comfy bed just a blanket rolled in a bundle on the floor. But then maybe it was because he couldn't fit on a normal or king-sized bed.

There was a desk with a solitary chair that he proceeded to grab and sit on while I stood awkwardly watching him. I felt fear ball up in me. He was still quite horrifying but maybe he wasn't all that bad?

"So like what exactly are you and Damien? Aliens?", I questioned hesitantly yet unable to stop the quiver of curiosity that was held responsible for this unnatural bravery.

And of course it was shot down immediately by a glare that could cut through stone like a knife through butter.

We were shrouded in silence for a while.

Suddenly he dropped his head low, his hair covering his already barely visible face and let out a long sigh.

"Aliens", he said,voice muffled by his resting palm, "that would be the perfect definition for them", i glanced at him, a weird happy feeling ran through me.

"So I was right then", I almost excitedly said, "You guys are aliens", I smiled because I got an answer after so long.

"Them", he said sounding annoyed, I looked at him confused. I was pretty sure he was abit pissed because he lifted his face whilst sneering at me. "I said 'them', I'm not an alien", he sounded defensive.

I looked at him shocked because his height made think he was strangest one out of all of them. So if he want an alien then he was a human. What?

"Your human", I said stunned, "human...", I laughed abit.

"You alright up there? - sorry I mean 'down there'?", he sarcasticly asked me. I faked a glare whilst I laughed.

"That's relieving..", I breathed out, "I'm not alone then", I smiled at him and he turned as if trying to hide his already hidden face.

"Don't come to me when your lonely or some corny crap like that alright", he said.

"Anyway enough of that, what's your name?", he said killing off the friendly vibe and replacing it with a cold, aloof serious one.

"My name?", I blinked. "Me-", I cutt myself off. No, I sighed. "Gan Me", I saw the satisfied tilt of his lips letting me know that was the right answer.

"Ryuu", he said in reply, "nice to meet you Gan Me", he smirked, his hair split in between his face and I saw his slit eyes and strong nose. My heart stopped beating. And then accelerated.

I turned my reddening cheeks away, "Same".
