2 What Is A Drake?

We ran towards the fireplace.

And my granny turned pale...but I don't know why? And when turned towards my granny's gaze...

I saw nothing!

"Jeezz!!! Granny why the heck are u pale and where did that sound come from this place!!"

Granny's POV ~

W-what is happening all of a sudden! I didn't even start telling about the curse...a-and weird things are happening! Vio can't see...but I can!

*sweats with fear*

The Shiro( castle in Japanese) is getting in its form on the wall!!!

*Gasp's for some air*

I look at Eshilin, she is worried and frightened! I don't know why she is chosen!! And I still don't know the legend of this curse!

I am so worried! What can I do!

*sighs* well I should stop staring at the wall! I knew this would happen! And I was prepared for it. I should calm Vio first!

Eshilin's POV ~

I don't know what my granny saw! But all I see is blank wall! The thing is its the same wall where the painting was hung!

But I don't know....why granny is Staring at that blank wall!

Its like something came alive out of that wall!

I am getting chills here by seeing Granny's frightened face....she is sweating!!!!!

Ah!!! She is calm now!

Does her expression changes in every sec!

Granny: "umm.. Its nothing! Don't freak out! I just imagined something! Haha" *giving a convincing smile*

Eshilin: "what...who is freaking who!

Man!!! U freaked me out! And what's with ur that smile! Its creepy and awkward!"

Granny: "u see I am getting old so...I have some vision problems"

Eshilin: "then what's that sliding guy on ur nose for" *rolls eyes*

Granny: "what! Sliding guy!! What's that"

Eshilin: "argh!!!!! Leave it! Are u gonna stand here?? Or even start telling about the castle!!"

Granny: "*secretly smiles* yeah yeah young lady! Learn to be patient"

Eshilin: "okay old lady"

*says with a smirk*

Granny gives a unsatisfactory look. Scoffs and walks slowly towards the living hall! And I follow her with a mischievous smirk on my lips. My granny got annoyed! Aww!! Hehe!

"Hey Granny! Tell me one thing! How come u know about this curse? And where did the painting go??"

Asks while sitting on the coach!

"Young lady! Have some patience!!! I am on the way honey! Just make urself cozy and listen to me!"

"Okay" *smiles*

Here we go.... Granny is telling about the curse and its tragedy!

"The castle that was painted was an old Shiro! A Japanese castle! Which once stood high and mighty"

"It was guarded,protected and ruled by a mighty DRAKE "

"The king Drake! RYUU KIN HI! He was the emporer and the protecter of his great kingdom ZUSHOLIN"

"DRAKE! What is a drake granny??"

I could See how excited and with an admiration she was telling about the king Drake!(BTW what's a Drake??)

"A DRAKE is a dragon...which is stronger and aggressive than a dragon!

"They have a pair of wings , and four limbs!!!! Their eyes as deep as a fire abyss, their breath holding a warmth that can burn u! They stand high and are the ultimate emperor of the sky!"

"Here A drake is acknowledged by their elemental powers!"

"Oh"

"The Emperor, should have fire as their elemental power!

"Why only fire as the elemental power ...why not other powers?"

I questioned!

"Drakes symbolize fire as the ruling and the strongest element! And its the rare element found in the Drakes! And are found in the Royal bloodline of drake"

"Wait ...what! There is class in drakes to!!!!! I mean there are royals and commoners too!"

"I can't understand anything granny!!!"

I feel like everything is bouncing over my head! I just can't get! Was Zusholin a country of dragons! Or something else!!!!! And why do live in a Shiro! If they are dragons! Aren't they supposed to live deep inside the ocean or caves or mountains! Mann!!! This granny is so confusing!"

Granny's POV ~

Oh my!! Just look at her!!! *laughs inside* she is so confused! Oh I love it!!!! Serves her good! I told her!

She should listen me first till the end! No! I gotta ask granny at every sentence! Such an impatient child!

End of granny's POV ~

*inhales deeply and cross overs the legs , rests plam on the knees and continues*

"Well well calm down Vio! I will make u clear! "

" People born with elemental powers...possessed the spirit of drake!"

"They can transform to a Drake when they surpass their elemental power to spiritual level! And this often happens at the age 40 to 45"

" WOAH!!! so u are saying they are humans!"

"Yeah! They are!"

"Oh my! Its almost evening! Jesus Christ! I have works to do!"

"Hey granny u can't leave in the middle u know!"

*teases my noses with her wrinkled finger and I frown*

"Let's continue after dinner! Shall we!"

*winks*

"Yo! Granny u do wink huh! Okay!! After dinner"

I smile as she leaves for her chores and I keep wondering about the story she said! It can't be true...can it be? I pondered.

How can a world of magic and dragons vanish, if they were so powerful? isn't dubious! well I don't know! but its funny to know that, I can get to know them and be a part of their awsome story!
