7 Rhys's Illusion Of Death

As Rhys pulls Joe closer while gripping his shirt, he Whispers, "little puppy, you have messed enough". As soon as he says this, Joe looks at his Amber eyes...which are glowing like fire. Terrified, Joe starts to quiver.

But the show didn't end there, suddenly Joe saw himself in a dark room, no one to be found. He felt as someone was choking him.

"Haaa!!! Khuh! "

"What the...I can't breathe, huh!!!! W-WHAT is this????" He sees fire spreading across the room and a person standing there in the fire.



And the Amber eyes of Rhys was glowing red!

"Ahhhh!! What is this ??? Where am I??? "

"Well well are you terrified little puppy? Haha, the show has just begun! What did u say, I can't mess with you! Well you shouldn't have mess with me". Whispers in the ears Joe, who was terrified with the view he was having

And again the room went dark, the illusion that he was having, in a snap vanished!

"Ha!!! It has g-gone... Y-yeah, gone" he says with shuttering voice

" Heh! I am here puppy, were you searching me?"

Rhys was having blood red eyes looking at Joe's, which made him quiver. Rhys's had blood dripping from his fingers, a killing intent was filling the space around the room. A smirk spreads on his lips.

" W-Who a-are y..you?" Joe asks with a shuttering voice! He could hear his own heart beating "ba-dum" "ba-dum" "ba-dum"

"Who am I?" Asks while tilting his head to the left. Looks through corner of his red blood eyes towards Joe.

"You ask who am I? , I can say that I am not Rhys Xander you used bully!" Looks at him and holds his collar , pulling him closer with a jerk, he says, "Joe you better not mess with me anymore, or else get ready to face the consequences"

Joe was petrified with fear and terror, he couldn't speak anymore except of giving a nod!

"What can't you speak now puppy?"

" Yes..yes I won't...I will never ever mess with you Rhys!! "

" You dare to call me by name" *glares*

" No ...n..no!!!! M..master! Yeah master..I will never mess you " He says in a state of fear and terror! He was terrifyingly insane. He went mute for a day after this incident!

Joe's POV~

What is he? A devil! This trash could never look at me with straight face! H-How just how did he able to make terrified! And what was that, how was trapped in a dark room??

I should not offend him anymore! He..he is strong as unusually, a devil!!! Oh great heavens save me !!!!! The whole class is starting at me and I can't stop shivering!!! So embarrassing! Even the girls are looking at me with disgust! My dignity... *Cries*

The whole class was disturbingly surprised! Cause when, Joe was in illusion he could only see Rhys, but not the students around him! The students were astonished to the absurd behavior of Joe. And seeing from Joe's condition no one dared to ask what actually happened!

"Phew! I used up mana on that jerk! It was refreshing for sure." Talks to himself!

As he was walking towards his home he found a antique store on his way. A book caught his eyes, a book with violet cover on it, and a symbol which looked more like a magical array!

" Huh? What kind of book is it, why does it look like it may give me some trails to find Yuki, and who is going to find that jerk emperor!"

so the first Emperor was known as " "Dragon of golden flame"

Kōri* meant ice

So the Empress was known as "Dragon of ice Forest"

Lin* meant forest

In the same way Clovis was known as "Dragon King of flames"

Since kai* meant king

And Raven was known as "Snow Dragon of death"

Bai* meant snow

Shi* referred to dead!

Raven was know for being ruthless and her victory in battle Fields along with her war companion "DUKE LIAM MARCUS" (she was the DUKE of the house MARCUS at an age of 16)

Both Liam and Raven were known as "The SHI Slayers" ( death Slayer).

"Well let's check the book first! It looks strange!"

He goes inside the shop...as he pushes the door there is a jingle sound.

"Jingle"

"Hoho, little kiddo. Do ya need anything from my rusty-dusty store?" He greets Rhys with a wide grin, he looked like a grandpa in his 70s. He was a stout man with wiggly cheeks,round nose, and his hair looked as if he stuffed cotton! He had a friendly aura! Rhys stares at the shop for a while, it looked like a lost and found store. Dusty shelves, broken cupboards, and the table where the old man sat was almost to it's funeral! He then stares at the old man and by giving a smile he says, "umm..well grandpa can I see the book over there" pointing towards the bookshelf, which was facing towards the display window.

"Oh sure-sure feel free to look around" he says with a smile and with a husky tone yet a friendly one.

"Okay then" Rhys smiles back and walks towards the shelf where the book shone under the sunset.

"Hmm... It does has a peculiar symbol on it. I can't figure out. But it looks somewhat similar. Where did I see it? Come on Vester- come on, think!!!! Where did you see it?" He rubs his finger tips over the engraved symbol. The symbol had a very complicated yet simple design with complex details.

"Yo! Kiddo!! That book is something that no one could get their eyes on!" The old man startles by speaking up suddenly when Rhys was engrossed in thinking!

"Eh? What do you mean grandpa?" Rhys questions back. Since he couldn't grasp what did that old man mean!

"Call me old Lee" His eyes glimmer.

"Okay old Lee, can you explain what did you mean earlier?"

"Boy, that book is a strange one. And you are first one to notice it! Even though it out shines other articarfts here....but no one noticed it!"

"So u mean, I am the first one to notice this book? So are you telling this book has ability to camouflage itself???" Asks while he is holding the book.

"Yes! You are right lad! It can hide itself!"

"Oh! I never thought I would see one like this here. It is getting interesting here." He says with a gleam of fun in his eyes! Of course he wasn't surprised, cause in his magic tower there were books which only showed themselves to their owners, so that no one would be able have access to them.

I didn't knew in this world , where there is no mana left these kind of magic articraft exist! This is somewhat strange! But the symbol here is familiar to me...maybe this old Lee could be of any help to me!

Since it's me who could see this book other than old Lee, it means this book recognises me or it has something to do with this old man!

It's rather confusing, I better ask him where did he find this book!

" What do u mean lad? So you mean you have already seen this kind of book?" He asks with a dilemma in him!

"Ah! No-no it's my first time seeing it! Haha! I meant, even things like exist!" He answers by fixing his expression of awe!

"Hmm...I was surprised when I noticed that no one was able to see it! But you could"

Rhys walks to the old man by holding book in one hand, the other holding his bag over his shoulder!

"Old Lee, can you tell me where did you find it?"

"Umm..well I can't exactly tell you where I got this, but I got in one of the caves of an European country! What was the name of that country again???? Umm.... Yeah! It was from a cave of Crete, Greece."

"Oh!" I guess I need to know this world and it's places properly! Ah! Lots of work to do!!!

"Old Lee I want to buy this book! How much is it?"

"Well you don't have to! Just take it!! I think this book was destined to be yours .....after me!"

"Then I won't bargain anymore! I will come again to meet you!" Says while smiling!

"Sure lad" smiles back!

Rhys holds the book in his arms and heads towards his home.

"Umm..I need learn about the money  here! I wonder how can these fragile piece of paper can be used as currency" Talks to himself as he heads towards his new home...

"Well the view of the city in sunset is not bad! I used to see the sunset through the windows of my tower. I used to watch, till it disappeared!"

He didn't knew he was almost in front of his home. He came back to his present, but the past kept lingering. But giving out a sigh, he goes in.

"I am home! Mom!! " He yells while he is removing his shoes near the door-steps.

"Oh my! Son where have you being! An-And, were you beaten again! My son!!! Did something-"

Rhys goes to comfort his mom by interrupting while she was talking to Rhys, "Mom! I am fine. And I wasn't bullied today! And no one will ever bully me! Be rest assured nothing will harm you guys nor me!"

"Pftt! Oh-okay! I guess my son's grown up! Are you sure you didn't get beaten up? Well you look fine though! But I can't stop laughing the way you said now! Just protect yourself, don't worry about us" she bursts out of laughter by just listening to Rhys's confident statement!

"Mom!!!! I am not joking!!!"

"Aigo!! I get it-get it! Haha!, Okay wash up and have some food, you must be tired and hungry!"

By listening to Sera's words Rhys burst out to tears and hugs Sera.

"Mom! You don't have to worry anymore. I will pay for all your troubles that I caused! And I will bring back your respect too"

"Aigoo!! My son has really grown up!   Don't cry like a baby! Just go and wash up, go!! *Pat's Rhys head and strokes his forehead* "

"Hmm" answers while wiping out his tears leaves for his room.

While stepping towards his room, he leans over the stairs and calls out his mother, "mom!!!! We're did Cathy go?"

Sera, who was walking towards the hallway gets startled, yet reserves her surprised look and answers, "oh Cathy! She has gone for her evening classes!! Anyway can you pick her up from her classes?"

"Sure Mom! When does her classes end? I will pick her up!"

"Huh? You will go? Umm..well in an hour her classes will end!"

"Sure then! I gotta freshen up myself then"

Sera's POV~

Huh! I thought he was being a bit emotional today... Might be due to his school issues!! But it's very unsettling. At morning I thought he must be in a good mood, but when he came back he acted different. As if he changed in a night or as if he is someone else. And seeing him accept to bring Cathy back from her classes, also startled me. Maybe he is growing up! I have no worries when he can stand on his feet, just like is dad. He will be glad to see his son resembling him. *Soft tears run down to her cheeks*. Okay then my son won't be belittled by anyone anymore *wipes up the tears while walking back to the kitchen*

                       ~Sera's POV ends

Meanwhile, Rhys changes himself into a pair of tracksuit and a sweat shirt. Brushes his hair. Well he never does, but his body has got used to it i.e brushing his hair.

"Hmm the clothes here are strange. The way of studying is different! Well here everything is strange!!!" To think about, the book that I have bought it isn't a simple book! I need to give a closer look to it! It's strange that this book has manga lingering around it. Even though it is in tiny amount, but still it's quite astonishing to find a book with manga around it! Well I will give look to it after I get back. I need to bring Cathy back, her classes are about to end. Sigh! I am tried already! This body of mine is quite weak! *Frowns to his own reflection on the mirror* I have become skinny! *Grumble*  ah!! I am hungry!!! Need to grab a bite. I am hungry! .

Rhys hurries down to the hallway and runs towards the kitchen.

"Mom! Can I have something!! I am damn hungry!" *Rubs his palms over his grumbling stomach*

"Oh yes!! Of course. I will serve you on the table go and take your seat, I will be coming shortly!"

"Oh-okay" he agrees with a nod!

After few mins of having food Rhys walks out to pick up Cathy! Catherine Xander, a girl of 15yrs. Little chubby girl. She keeps fooling around with her ebony hair. Her eyes were like black gem, shimmering with joy and youth! She has always carried an air of trust, hope and love around her. She would often felt alone at her home, left out and craved for Rhys to love her and stand for her when she needed someone!

When Rhys was about to reach the place where Cathy had her class, he sees something unusual!

Eh?  What is happening here. It's good that I can hide myself behind the tree, but what is Cathy doing? Umm..she is accompanied with her friends. But why is she uncomfortable around them. And what are doing with her. Nah! They are not her friends. They bulling her through threats. Impuendent!!! This is the rule of universe "once you are weak...get ready to be suppressed by the strong!"

"Shubhum brother, please leave me...I am not interested in you!" Cathy yells with a shattering voice.

Shubhum!!! That brat! I left him without giving him the special treatment is this the cause for not getting one. Dare to lay hands on my sister. Not good!

"What can you do now, little girl!! Your brother never comes to pick you up! Haha! Does he??" Goes closer to Cath, resulting Cathy to go nowhere...trapped between these jerks.

"Wait you have compensate for what your brother did to me and to my boss!" Leans towards Cathy-

"NO-.N-NO, STOP IT" Cathy was shaking badly,her eyes were filled with terror, heart beating like a drum. A wish in her head that if someone could save her. If her brother could save her. Tears flowing down to her pale-rose cheeks.

"THUD!"

"Some one didn't get my special treatment so they are on rampage I see" Rhys kicks Shubhum sideways, making Shubhum to fall hard on his shoulders..

"Ahh!! What the heck man, are you bli-" he stops Midway of his idotic remark when he sees Rhys glaring at him with his Amber eyes.

"So you want compensation, I see. I will give you compensation." Rhys bends down to Shubhum, who was still holding his arm, which was no longer paining due to the sharp stab in his lungs. The air in his lungs were like clung to it's walls. His heart was about to stop, when those Amber eyes where changing blood-red. While all this was happening, Cathy was more shocked and shaken to see Rhys standing up for her.

Her eyes couldn't believe the fact that her brother was no longer bullied. The people who bullied him, are in terror by only his one glare.

A glare of hawk when it looks into the eyes of his prey.

"Br..brother, you are h..here? B-but-"

Interrupting, " Don't worry Cathy, I am sorry for not being for you. I promise that from now on I will be with you" I am sorry for being a jerk the whole time!

"Oh-okay, brother!" Smiles while her tears flow down her rose-tint cheeks. I give back her a smile of assurence!

"Yo, man! Have ya guys done your little chit-ch-" SLAP  interrupted with a slap.

"Why are you hi-" SLAP!!   There you go another slap!

"Hey man-" SLAP!!

He shuts his mouth which was already swelled up.

"Oh, did you stop talking? Why? Didn't you say that you wanted to compensate something? Huh?"

"Wh-what, compensate! Phuh!! Haha! No-no you heard wrong!!! I want to compensate..." He answers with a quick reflex, stroking his palms over his swelled cheeks. Yup they are burning, and there is blood ozing from his nose.

Rhys kept smirking, he had had his part of fun here. For him it was quite refreshing! But Cathy on the other hand was dumbstruck! And I am damn sure Sera must be marching to the hallroom and the main door! And must be thinking, "where did my boy go! Did he even get into the right place?" Haha! Cause Rhys was known to have poor memory!

"Oh so what is your compensation? Puppy!" There was a sudden killing aura around Rhys, which left Shubhum feel his heart torn.

"I-I I wi-will never b-bother your sis-sister!! An-And b-bow to you whenever I see you! I will slap myself for mistreating your sister"

"You are quite shaken, you don't need to bow for me. Make sure I never  find your shadow lingering around Cathy. *Bends closer to him, and with a husky voice* do u get it puppy?"

"Yes, yes! Your so generous master! I take my leave then!" Giving out a sigh of relief, he thought of escape from the beast he encountered! But...

"Where are you off to? Did I say you to leave! I just told you not to bow, but I didn't say that you won't slap your face! Did I?" You want to escape little puppy!

"W-WHAT??" Gulps his saliva down to his dry throat. A shade of shame and guilt was over his swelled up face!

"You are questioning me?" The game has just begun! I will return ten folds to you little puppies and jerks! *Smirks*
