Edward and Mike would tail him when he was in his car. In addition to Liam in surgery, two others would split hospital duty. Another would watch his house evenings. Another at night. He couldn’t keep all the names straight.

Rory ended the meeting by standing to say, “In our past lives, Bond and I worked on Special Forces teams. Each man’s life depended on the others. For now, we are Bond’s team and the same principal applies. I’m headed for his house now to check out his security system. Loren should be finished with the outside cameras. I’ll do the inside. If there are no questions, that’s it for now.”

Turning to Bond, he said, “We’ll need your schedule for the week. If ya can write it down when we’re at your house, I’ll give it to Jason, and he can dispense it to the team.”
