4 Cheat, show yourself!

Days passed, days were treated as seconds and weeks as minutes. He also estimated the age of his body it had to be under a year, so he should only be four or five months old, that estimation should be taken with a grain of salt. If he had a system he would know with certainty the systems were that aware of their host's condition, the Maton likely knew. How long it had been since the orphans had first joined the orphanage was a piece of information that they would keep track of, he hoped.

Caelum would not be able to rely on any cheat if his trials to discover his innate abilities and cheats kept failing. He had to make due with what he did have, and that was time and time had to be used to beat talent and talent beats time training or practicing nine times out of ten. He was willing to put in work, but those with talent in the novels he read were arrogant fucks.

Damn them trying to screw over his favorite protagonists. Damn their resources, the protagonists beat you in talent, heart, and shamelessness. They failed to see Mount Tai, they had to be blind.

Those arrogant fucks in the stories he loved just a bit less than when he played Draconic Heavenly War took pieces of pie that others had painstakingly built more often from those who had less talent and had to work their bones till they started to be ground into dust.

He would lose to the talented, and maybe be on par with those who worked the hardest but lacked the talent to solidify their position and protect what they had built with their own sweat and tears.

Any effort without the ability to protect what they had would be a fool's endeavor. He was no fool, he knew the game, he was a certified pay to winner!

This thought picked him up a little. If he could he would buy talent, would that not be something. That was not real, that was a joke.

If he could buy talent all the prodigies would be talentless fucks who once they died would turn in their grave at his current thoughts.

If he could, talent would have no value. It would be traded like infrastructure or art. It's nice to have, but if you don't work hard, like art you won't won't comprehend its value.

Anyone could stare at a piece of art and like how it looks. An artist would further appreciate their fellow artist's skill and experience. On how doing what they did it created appeal how they made the piece and the message that they tried to convey through the piece.

As a prodigy, you understood that you had value. Add more prodigies the average amount of talent would increase, making the base talent amount higher and the lower tier prodigies would be treated like normal people. That would serve the usually arrogant fucks right.

Caelum, in addition, did not find his system yet, no cheat not a major advantage either. He was young so he could pick up things quicker, he also could focus on his plans earlier on so he at least had that going for him. He did learn a few things, these things helped to formulate his plan for the future.

First of what he acquired in his months leading up to his eight-month stay was the written language, not the spoken one he still sounded incomprehensible when he spoke. He could get a jist of what he read now because of the daily exposure of being read to by the matrons. the matrons read to them. The language that they spoke was like English.

Like English, it was like if you made a language that was not English, the way the words are said are similar to it just remove all sense of the words that are spoken and that is basically how it felt. Akin to, but alas it was not English.

Each child got assigned a matron that took care of them. A question for when he gets a chance which should be soon to look around as to why this early, why at this time did they teach the children to read when they were still so young? Why assign each kid a Matron? Children learned fast, but too early while they would adapt most of the information that they heard would go through one ear and out the other.

Vaile was the woman who first fed him. She was young, about 20. She had short brown hair that was slicked back, hazel eyes and slightly cold features that appeared rather aloof.

It gave her an inexplicable charm when she fed him and read to him.

It was a waste of effort to devote what were pretty much personal caretakers that showed up and watched us for about an hour a day, for everyone except him it would be a waste.

Was it just to be nice? Other kids had the attention spans of a goldfish and while they might say thank you that had no value to whoever ran the place. Children would look at shit if that was what they were interested in. They did not understand the idea that people were not naturally nice, more often than not they wanted something if they chose to help you out.

He died when he was a teen, and now he had extra time to be a kid. He wished he could stare at shit like them, but he knew better far more than they did. It was a blessing and a curse. It was no cheat. Not what he considered a "Cheat"

Caelum really wanted to be an adult, he was almost one before he died. Presently, he had to right that wrong he had to become an adult yet be given the freedom and chance to act like a kid.

That would be ideal. He also desired to find love, he, as he was always on his phone, found no love. A love of Draconic Heavenly War perhaps, but besides that, he had no relationships, just with that game. His addiction to the game even made him a bit distant from his family.

They were nice, enough to him he helped pay the bills so they had to treat one of the bread earners nice-enough. He felt not a hate for them, he just could not sympathize he just liked to play games on his phone that's all.

He had a job. That should have been enough. He had to learn again, the basics of a language. Maybe they had new curse words for him to learn so he could curse at his old family because why not in his free time.

System Gods, Hey its Caelum, he desires that one of you tend to his needs, pronto. On the double... Please help him out here he was in need of some assistance. Can't you see that he was trying to learn the cursing skill? Damn, fuck, shit!

He should have already of learned it by now, any cheat will do just help him! Ahhh!
