6 The Black Cat 2

Taesung invited the man to sit on a chair then sits opposite to the man.

"Who are you?"he asked right after the man sits down.

"Hmm let me see,"he leaned back on his chair while his hand held his chin."western people called me 'blackey' and Japanese people called me 'kuro'. It's up to you which one you want to use."he said while he looks at Taesung closely."you changed your clothes. You wore something white plain shirt with apron this afternoon." He tilted his head.

"Just who are you?I didn't saw you before,"he raised his left eyebrow while propped his head with his hand. The man shrugged.

"What are you going to call me?" The man asked again.

"Maybe kuro. It's easier,"he shrugged,"so kuro I didn't know you're watching me,"

"No no no I didn't watch the you at all. We accidentally meet and I'm here is actually to express my thanks for helping me earlier," he stood up then bowed 90° to TaeSung.

"Thank you for your help." He stand back up,"if there's anything you need help with just call my name. I will surely come to you." He turned to leave the cafe then took a side glance at Taesung." Remember my name."he said before he opened the door and left. Taesung shook his head while trying to remember his name.

"Well it wouldn't hurt me to try,"he said then tried to memorize the name by calling it out again and again. the door opened again. The man comes back in while both his hands holding his head on the side.

"Stop calling out my name!" He shouted. Taesung stunned in his seat for a second.

"What's going on with you? I was just saying it to memorize your name and I'm not calling it out loud too,"he looked at the man who was still holding his head.he then let go of his head and Taesung unexpectedly saw something furry on the man's head and it looks like a pair of cat's ears. He squinted his eyes to look closely.

"I didn't know you like to use cat's ears,"he said mockingly.

"What do you mean by like to use cat's ears?!" He grunted angrily."I'll go now don't call my name as you wish! Just call me when there's something important!" He left while stomping his feet and slammed the door close.

Taesung thinks of something then whispered softly.

"Kuro,". He heard the man shouts and grunts from the outside. He opened the door and looked outside. He carefully observed kuro that just left. He whispered as low as he can."kuro," kuro who was already on downhill turned back and looked at him angrily. He tilted his head at kuro.

"So he really did can hear me. He's already far though,"he held his chin and furrowed his eyebrows."just what exactly is he?" Only after he can't see kuro's shadows did he goes back in to the cafe. He sits down and were still thinking about what had just happened. He shrugged as he yawned. He stood up switched off the lights then when to the counter to make a call to SeoYeon.

"Why didn't you tell me before about all of those problems of yours?" She asked the young man that she thought like her own younger brother.

"Sorry. I was just don't want to be a burden to you boss. Moreover I'm really grateful that you accepted me to work with you. That's why." He looked down as he walks alongside her. She sighed.

"You know that I thought of you like my own brother."she smiled at him.

"Sorry," he said as he fiddled his nails.

"It's okay," she patted him on his back."now let's hurry and went back home,"she smiled at him."I dont want you to be alone anymore. Even Tae agreed with thinking for a 2nd times!" The young man's eyes widens.

"What? He did?"she nodded at him.'i didn't know that monster have a good side of him. Seems like I really couldn't judge a book just by looking on its cover,' he thought to himself then remembered when he beats the 3 unfortunate men up.

"Oh! By the way! Boss your boyfriend is a really good fighter!" He turned to her and showed two thumbs up at her. She turned to him in shock.

"What? He did? I saw him fights before but couldn't really saw much since that place is really dark." She looked up onto the black night trying to remember what happened.

"He is really good and he's way too strong too! He sent those guys flying singlehandedly!" He exclaimed in awe before continuing in a puzzled tone, "but how did he break the gun into 2 pieces?" He said while rubbing his chin. She remembered now that he also sent those 2 guys who were trying to assaulted her flying to the walls in one move. She didn't continue the conversation as they already arrived to their house.

Shin kept on chattering about how scary Taesung looks like when he beats those 3 guys that even the leader wetted his pants in fear. Suddenly her phone in her bag rings. She looks at the caller and saw cafe written on it. she smiled as she answered the call while her hand rummaged through her bags for the house key. She opened the door and gestured to shin to go in first. Afterwards she goes in while she was still talking to Taesung. She takes the blanket that Taesung used and handed it to shin. She thought for a while and told shin she'll goes in her bedroom first with her hand still on her phone. She closed the door to her bedroom then laid down on her bed.

"I think we should buy some extra blankets. I just lend yours to shin." She told him.

"There's no need," he answered calmly. she flipped on her bad and lay flat on her stomach.

"Why not? It'll be cold on the living room if you sleep there without any blanket,"

"Shin going to sleep on the living room right?" He asked and she simply says 'mm' to him before she continues to listen to what he was about to say."I would sleep in the bedroom with you," he said sarcastically. She jolted up then playfully said to him.

"you'll have to behave yourself as long as shin was here hehe,"

"Don't overestimate my self-restraint, milady,"he said to her while laughing."well you must've been tired. Sleep early and don't forget to lock your door. I don't want to hear the next morning you sleepwalks and slept with shin all the night," he said to her and ended the call before she can say anything. She shook her head while her lips formed a smile as she got ready to sleep. Taesung on the cafe walked to the staff room to sleep.

The next morning.

Shin and SeoYeon come early and they saw seonyeo standing outside the cafe with pale face. She bowed to the both of them.

"Good morning boss, senior shin," she said weakly.

"Morning seonyeo-yah," SeoYeon greeted back with a worried look on her face.

"Morning seonyeo-yah," shin replied to her greetings also noticed the girl's haggard looks. Seoyeon comes closer to the girl and tried to feel her forehead.

"You're still sick. What are you doing here? Go home and rest," she said she o the girl. The girl shook her head.

"I can't. Yesterday I already left senior shin alone in the cafe. I couldn't do that again,"she answered weakly. Seoyeon sighed.

"Then what if you fainted during working and got even worse? It'll be the cafe's problem as well." She insisted.

"Yea moreover boss's boyfriend helped me yesterday." Shin told her about how professional Taesung is with an excited face. Suddenly the door was creaked open and a messy short silver haired man comes out. He looked outside at the three.

"I think you really should do something about the window," he rubbed his eyes and went closer to Seoyeon. He then unexpectedly hugged her then pouted while complaining.

"I couldn't sleep soundly last night," he broke the hugs and yawned."I still have to go to uncle today," he sighed. Seoyeon tilted her head.

"Uncle? You have an uncle?" She thought he already regained his missing memory.

"Mr Yoon told me to call him uncle,"he replied calmly.

"I thought you remembered your past,"

"I don't think so. But there is something weird happened right after you guys left last night." He turned and saw seonyeo looking pale. He furrowed his eyebrows.

"You should go to the hospital. I smell something really bad. These sickness of yours won't get better. Unless if you go to the hospital," he suddenly said.

The girl's eyes widens. She looks at the man's silver eyes.

She was about to asked how did he knew but she closed her lips together.

"Is he right?" Seoyeon turned to her and held the girl's shoulder. She saw the girl nodded slightly. Seoyeon hugged the girl tight. "What happened?"

"Liver," she shortly answered while looking at her boss. Her eyes getting teary.

"You should go and get the treatment. don't worry about the cafe." Taesung answered in a calm demeanor."I'll help your boss,"

The girl ended up cried her heart out. They called for a taxi and send the weak looking girl back to her home.

Seoyeon still wiping her wet eyes with her sleeve. Taesung sighed as he saw her and knew that she's really worried about the girl. He goes into the staff room and took a shower.

Seoyeon sighed as she stares blankly onto the empty space. she didn't know that her worker that's been with her had such a big secrets. She saw the window then took out her phone to call someone to replace the window to a new one.

The door was opened. She thought that's her friend who's gonna change the window. However the person she saw on the entrance is none other than her stepmother.

Her mother was her father's first wife however she was infertile and her grandparents had been asking her father urgently to get them a grandchild. In the end they let her father go to a blind date and since the girl who was her father's second wife right now doesn't care that he already married makes her 2 grandparents happy and they immediately makes preparations and the 2 got married. A month after they got married. The first wife unexpectedly was confirmed to be 3 months pregnant. The 2nd wife was also pregnant. The elder were happy as if they've got a lucky star and treated the 2nd wife better than their first daughter in-law.

She even treated her husband 2nd wife as good as she took care of her husband however she didn't know that the woman which she thought as her good little sister had a really bad intention towards her. When she delivered her baby and was informed that the baby is a girl, she got flustered and scared if the first wife's baby is boy then she herself and her baby won't be able to inherit any fortune from the Cha family wealth. It'll be a waste for her to sacrifice and got married to the man which she actually hated. She was quivering in fear as she delivered the child early. She ordered someone to hit her mother with a car while she's still in her womb. Her due date was already coming closer when a car hit her after she got checked up from the hospital. She was safely born however the doctors couldn't saves her mother's life.

She looked at the woman in luxury dress and coat in disdain. This woman dared to come to her place again. The woman smugly went in and her eyes wandered on the cafe.

"Huh? So this is the cafe you were taking care of? Isn't this cafe was created by that freak?" She shrugged her shoulder arrogantly. Another person comes in.

"Mom I told you she isn't worth it," the girl sneered.

"Sorry but my cafe isn't accepting any customer that disrespectful with a dirty hand." She squinted her eyes. She had been tortured enough by these two evil woman when she was still in her family's residence.

"Tsk so arrogant," the girl held onto her mother's arm with a mocking look on her eyes. The girl was wearing full Chanel brand clothing and expensive accessories.

"At least I know how to earn money and not just spend them recklessly." She crossed her arms.

"A good daughter was always pampered unlike you who always rough and unfilial!" The woman started to yell at her.

"Me? Unfilial? Then what about you? An amazing woman who liked to torture her step daughter and nearly killed her and even tried to throw her in a sewer." SeoYeon walks closer slowly and whispered." Thank goodness that I didn't have the proof about you crashing my pregnant mom,"

The woman's eyes widens and her jaw dropped. Feeling satisfied after she saw these reactions of the sinister woman who has committed countless crimes. She smiled conceitedly. The girl besides the woman bursted out.

"You ignorant woman! My mother is the one who took care of you and raised you...!" She screamed angrily.

"She only did that when my father and grandparents were there. However the moment those 3 turned their back she already wanted to kill me," she cutted the girl's screams. The staff room door was opened.

Taesung comes out with wet hair and he wore a loose plain white shirt and white pants. He looked as if he was shining and his wet silver hair makes him looks alluring.

The woman and two girls all looked at his direction. He saw seoyeon's dazed expression and chuckled happily. He didn't notice the other 2 person who was also in a daze. He walked towards seoyeon with a smile on his face.

"I thought you already saw every side of me. Why do you always have to be stunned every times you saw me?" He asked while he tilted his head.

The other girl looked at him as if he was an angel who descended to the earth. She was so amazed by the man's beauty and she wants to make him hers alone. She suddenly cried and held the man's arm.

Taesung whose arm was suddenly grabbed was shocked and he looks at the girl who was crying sadly turned back to Seoyeon and asked.

"I don't know we already have a customer." He looked at the girl puzzled then he saw seoyeon's hateful face. He saw her glared at the girl then at the woman.

"Help me please. My sister. She doesn't want to forgive me," she cried even harder." Moreover I doesn't have any man to rely on so please help me," he heard the girl begged him. He raised his eyebrows. Actually he heard the 3 conversations just now. He thought for a while,then shrugged her hands off his arm.

"If you need a man to rely on then gives me a few minutes." He said then called out a name which he just knew last night.

"Kuro come to me right now," he called in a low voice. The door creaked open and a man in all black comes in.

"You called me? You didn't call me just to memorize my name don't you?" He scratches his head and looked at the silver haired man.

"Nope. I need your help." He smiled.

"What help?" The man who's name is kuro asked again.

"Help me soothes this lady's feelings," he shoved the girl in front of kuro. The girl eyes shone in astonishment.

'they're all handsome!' she thought in her mind.

"Thank you for the compliment miss but does that includes me?' he smiled politely to the girl."and how may I serve you?"

' what should I make him do? Should I make him follow me or should I just take him with me and shows him off to my friend?' she held her chin. Kuro suddenly shrieked.

"Master! My good master! Please don't let me serve her! She's going to lock me up again!"he looked at Taesung with pleading eyes. Taesung looked at him disdainfully. "Please? She has a really bad intention," he whispered to him. Taesung mouth twitched.

"You tell her yourself,moreover you're not covered in bandages anymore." he said while gritted his teeth. Kuro shrieked again.

"I'm not covered in bandages anymore yea that's right but it's clearly still hurt,"he looked at him with teary eyes and clasped his hands together..

"Who is this? I don't know you have a friend," seoyeon finally asked as she looked directly at kuro. 'is he his friend from before? Why're they all so good looking? I wonder who exactly is Tae,' she thought as her eyebrows furrowed.

"We just met yesterday and he actually helped me. if not maybe I'll walk funny today," he smiled at seoyeon. Then he looks at Taesung."you didn't tell her about you?"

"About me?what about me?" He looked at kuro quizzically. Kuro turned to the 2 woman. He saw kuro's line of sight and understood.

"We're totally sorry but we haven't prepared to open the cafe yet. Please gives us some times to get ready then the two of you can come again after 9." He bowed politely at the 2. When the two saw he man bowed they held their head high ups and then nodded.

"Thank goodness for this gentleman here if not I might've ruined this cafe," the woman sneered then turned. The girl flirted and winked at Taesung before she suddenly rushed forward and tiptoe trying to kiss him. He saw it and dodged sideways. the girl fell onto the ground with a thud. Kuro can't help but chuckled softly but still she saw it and she also saw her sister scornful looks on her as if she was looking at a pile of trash. She hastily gets up and swore that she won't gives up on her newly found angel. She smiled again then walked out. The moment she goes out kuro bursted out laughing and began rolling on the floor while holding his stomach. Taesung sighed and took seoyeon's hands in his trying to calm her.

"Sorry but I overheard your conversation with those guys," he gently said to her.

"It's okay. It's not like it's a secret though," she shook her head while she tried to stops a tear from flowing.

He suddenly thought about Mr Yoon's notes about Blackthorn family descendant curse.

"He was granted the immortal life however anyone who get near him, they'll unfortunately died slowly and one after another catastrophe will befalls to them," he frowned as he looks onto the space in deep thoughts.
