1 Origins

Tj Evens leaves the dojo where he trains younger kids, and heads to school. He waves at people that he knows as he walks on the sidewalk. He then passes a homeless man and pulls out something from his bag.

"Here you go Mr. Garfield. Got the usual for you, meatball parm." Tj says as he hands him the sandwich.

"Thanks kid. Give Felicia my best, ok?"

"Sure thing." Tj tells him.

A few minutes later, Tj makes it to his school (Brooklyn Highschool) and sees his two best friends Drew Miller, and Deana Smith.

"Hey guys, ready for the field trip?"

"Yes! I can't wait to see what Tron Labs is working on" Drew answers excitedly as Tj chuckles.

"Yeah, can't wait to hear some old guy ramble on, and on about technology." Deana sarcastically says.

"Of course you'd say that, but Tj's excited for this too. Right?"

"Well, the old man rambling part not so much, but it could be fun to see new Tron technology." Tj says.

All of the students then load up the bus and go to Tron Labs, America's number one Tech industry.

When the class make it to the lab, they are amazed at what they see.

"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. We're really here." Drew exclaims.

"Not gonna lie, some of this stuff is pretty cool." Deana says.

At that moment a man wearing a fancy suit shows up infront of the students, exciting Drew.

"That's him! He's him! Him is he!" Drew tells them.

"Who is that, exactly?" Tj asks confused.

"Are you kidding? Dude, Issac Tron is the founder of Tron labs, he's one of the smartest men in the world." Drew answers.

"Yeah man, even I knew that." Deana adds.

As Tj chuckles, Issac starts to speak to the class.

"On behalf of all of us here in Tron labs, we are glad to have you and excited to show you the technology of tomorrow."

Issac is then signaled to the back.

"If you will excuse me, I have to go handle other business elsewhere. Enjoy yourselves."

Issac leaves and the students keep walking through the lab. Tj then notices something below them. He sees a man being dragged into a room against his will. Tj is shocked by what he just saw.

"Hey I gotta go...use the bathroom." Tj tells him.

"You need any help finding it?" Drew asks.

"Nah, I'm ok." Tj replies.

He walks off, and makes sure no one is watching him. Tj then quickly walks into the same room the man was dragged into. He quickly hides behind machinery as he sees multiple scientists and Issac Tron. The young man then sees the man strapped inside a tub like machine.

"Is everything ready, doctor?" Issac asks.

"Yes, but I still must advise against this, Mr. Tron." the doctor replies.

"Science isn't for the cowardly."

"I understand, Mr Tron, but the last time the meta project was attempted it had...monstrous consequences."

"That was then. This is now. We are moving forward with the experiment."

"Very well, sir."

As the man in the tub begs to be let out, the scientists ignore him and pull a lever, activating the machine. It not only sends energy inside of the machine, but it also sends a shockwave through the lab, affecting some of the scientists in the room and students through the lab, including Tj. The machines also start to emit electricity, almost electrocuting Tj and causing him to fall to the ground, drawing the attention of Issac and the scientists who weren't affected by the shockwave.

"Who the hell is that?" Tron asks. The lab is then evacuated and security is called.

As his body is surrounded by electricity, Tj quickly runs off before anyone could get a good look at his face. He struggles to stay on his feet, but as he gets surrounded by security, something happens to him. Tj's eyes start to glow bright red, electricity still surrounding his body, now turning red. He then runs at super speed, destroying the ground underneath him and sending the security guards flying.

Tj then finds himself at home, shocked at what just happened. He looks at his hands as electricity surrounds them.

"Woah."
