Sabotage

"Well then let's see about testing your physical stats, we wont push to the limit today so much as test your current abilities." J'onn said.

Well, the first thing I learned is that I don't have super strength, I could do about 155lbs as a rep. So, a little better than average for a normal human at 16 years old.

Second, I don't have super speed, and my 6 pack is a couple meals away from being a one belly.

However, my stamina is beyond exceptional, I have yet to get tired at all. I get sore from the exorcizes but not tired, so weird. I was able to sprint for 35 minutes before my leg muscles started to spasm from overuse. And I heal fast as well. I start chest then do arms then do legs and by the time I'm done with legs my chest is fully recovered.

J'onn gauged my heling at about 3 times the normal human. Way below the Martian level of self-healing but great for a human.

But this is also just my base human, once I change into something with a faster healing rate or ability then I should be much better. However, I do also seem to burn through my stamina quickly when I'm transformed.

As I was working out, I occasionally heard some banging and thunder like crashes coming from behind one of the doors at the back of the Gym. I asked J'onn about it and he said it was a Holographic training room and he didn't know who was currently occupying it.

As I was on my third rotation of exorcise, I heard the door open and saw who was behind all the noise. First out was Ororo Monroe, this universes Wonder Woman and she was shortly followed by a very handsome black man, he was nearly identical to Chadwick Boseman. I just kind of stared for a few moments as I saw the man who played the Black Panther in my universe before he tragically passed away far too young.

His face did look identical, but his body carried about 20 more pounds of muscle than the actor had at his peak in the movies. His movement still flowed like he was ready at any moment to spring from where he was to any direction he wanted to go. Every movement was smooth and showed power, well except the limp he currently had going for him.

As Wonder Woman and Black Panther walked or limped out of the training room, I overheard Ororo saying "You are too dependent on the Wakanda martial arts, it is good but there are many more disciplines out there to learn from."

"My soon to be wife should show more confidence in my nation's unarmed combat created by my ancestor's. I was merely distracted by your beauty and that was how you managed to throw me using the arts shown to you by that savage.

Wonder Woman stopped and looked at T'challa with a frown, "You would do well to remember that though we are betrothed I am not one of those subservient brood mares the counsel wanted you to marry. I will never be the type to stay silent and agree with everything my mate believes unconditionally. That 'Savage' has lived a long life and fought more than the two of us combined, both against others and himself. He has shown to be a true friend and has saved my life on more than one occasion."

Holding up both hands in surrender "Peace my love, I meant no ill towards the man, even a Panther knows not to foolishly mess with a Wolverine. Especially not one held in such high regard by his beloved."

Catching my and J'onns presence, Ororo says "We can discuss this further when we don't have an audience King of my heart."

Seeing who else was in the gym T'challa says "Manhunter, I did not know you brought another Martian to Earth. Will he also be joining the sidek… The young hero squad?"

J'onn replied "He is not of Martian decent, but of Earth. He has run afoul of the Queen of Bialya, the ruler of a land not far from your homeland I believe. Through genetic editing he has a large amount of Martian DNA, we are attempting to see what effect that has had to his physiology."

"It is a blessing to see you once again Wonder Woman, I thank you for being part of the counsel on my case." I say.

Then turning to Black Panther, "It is an honor to meet you Sir." I almost called him by name and revealed my knowledge of who this was when I had no way of explaining my knowledge. Unfortunately, I did not catch the frown on J'onn's face.

"Think nothing of it child." Ororo said in a warm voice. "My little sister Diana spoke well of you; it appears you left a positive impression on her. Though I did not know of it before the gathering. May the gods provide a path for you to use your abilities in betterment of this world."

Laughing a little, I tap my arm and ask Morph to come out and once he does, he stares at the two figures in front of him. "I would be willing to bet this little guy was her reason for her positive impression."

Smiling Ororo nodded her head "She deeply admires how cute it was while still being protective of your rest. She has a weakness for such things as they are not often found on our homeland. It is rather rigid and stern there with warrior attributes being admired above all."

Morph just smiled at her and waved.

"Though you do Diana a disservice thinking that Morph here was the only reason she had a good impression of you. She explained to me the care you were taking to not permanently harm any of the regular soldiers even though by doing so you had put yourself in more danger than necessary."

"I do admit to a moment when I thought of being sterner with the soldiers but through their minds, I was able to see that most of them were pressed into duty by a corrupt administration on penalty of their and their families' lives. I feel sparing them and saving my more drastic methods for those that command them to be a better way of reacting." I respond.

"Why hold a soldier responsible when it was an order from the throne that placed us in opposition. I would rather take out the one on the throne and let the soldier see the consequences of following such a leader."

As soon as I finished speaking there was a loud boom and it felt like the whole Watchtower shook.

J'onn runs to a panel on the wall and starts typing away. "Computer, what's the situation?"

Core breach imminent, radiation leak detected. Recommend Evacuation.

A screen appeared near the control panel; it showed Captain Marvel?? But she had a blue suit on that sparkled and had the picture of an atom on it. Was this another mashup character? "J'onn I need to get to the core, I may be able to contain it with my powers. I need you to come to the control room to take command of the situation."

"I am on my way Captain Atom; I have Panther and Wonder Woman with me. Do you need them?" J'onn said quickly

She replied, "Send them to the docking bay's and start the evacuation via ship, we don't want to run the Zeta tubes with power fluctuating from the core power issues. I am headed to the core now, so get here to take charge J'onn."

J'onn turns to us and says "Ororo and T'challa can I leave you two too watch over Gar and speed up the evacuation in case Captain Atom can't contain the reactor breach."

Wonder Woman just says "Go." As she starts to spin in circles, I watch as she spins so fast that I lose sight of her for a moment and then she stops and is wearing her traditional outfit.

At this point J'onn has phased through the ceiling and I'm just waiting for someone to tell me what to do.

Black Panther shouts "Keep up Kid, lives are at stake."

I shift my form to Battle Cat from He-Man and easily keep pace. I would run past them if I knew where I was going but I probably couldn't get through security by myself anyway.

Wonder Woman sees my change and picks up her pace but there are only so many straightaways to go through before she must stop and open a door with her credentials.

I reach out with my mind and find J'onn, {Could you disable all door security measures and maybe open them from my position to the bays? We would get there quicker without stopping to open the doors every 20 ft.}

J'onn replies {Done and Tell Wonder Woman that the core damage was most likely sabotage so keep an eye out while loading evacuees.}

Not wanting to intrude on her mind without permission or more familiarity unless truly necessary, I shift back to human and tell Wonder Woman what I asked J'onn to do and his words about the core being sabotage.

"We can discuss further what to do when we get to the Javelin Bay." She said as she picked up speed now that the doors were all opened on our path.

I quickly shift back into Battle Cat and keep pace with them.
