73 Untitled

Raikou wasn't sure of what to do. Severed was getting stronger and stronger through this activation of his hidden species bloodline. It seems the demonic powers were dormant until now, which is why it came up as a (?) on the species when he inspected them.

The whole room warped slowly and flickered in and out. It was as if he was being sent through a spatial portal, but it was just the power of the principal's transformation causing the area around them to react.

Ding! Quest Received.

Quest: Kill the demonified Severed Rikman

Reward: Random S Rank Skill

The quest reward was extremely generous, which showed that the duality didn't see this as an easy task. With his current strength, killing a peak saint shouldn't be too difficult, but the principal wasn't following the norms of strength, just like him.

A black figure shot towards him, breaking his train of thought. The previous human principal was now a demonic figure. Unlike any he had seen before, the sight in front of him felt almost ethereal. Severed's body was completely black and a gooey substance was dripping off him, as if he was venum from the CD universe. As long as two voices don't talk concurrently, he wasn't too freaked out.

(A/N: I know he is from Marvel, don't kill me...)

Icy white eyes peered back at him through the goo. A staff was slowly being formed from its own substance/body, which both creeped out and amazed Raikou. The staff didn't seem to have a purpose other than its aesthetic and nostalgic feeling for the headmaster, as he didn't seem capable of any proper magic in such an unintelligent form. This was probably why he didn't want the ritual to fail.

Name: Severed Rikman

Species: Demonic Enigma

Cultivation: Rank 6 9th Level

The species had changed, which was pretty obvious looking at the black gooey humanoid in front of him. An enigma... So the world hasn't had such a being appear in the world before? I wonder why not. It looks pretty cool, so Raikou believed having more of them in the world could be an interesting experience.

He ran forward and hacked downwards with his sword, cleaving the body in two. Severed split in half as Raikou smiled. "That wasn't so hard, was it?" He looked at Dosho smugly.

Dosho lazily pointed in the direction of the principal and went back to sitting with a bored expression.

"What the fuck!" He looked over, only to see the body slowly fusing back together. It was as if his attack didn't so anything to Severed, even with the fire and ice effect. He wasn't sure what to do, so he just attacked once again.

He let off another flurry of attacks with his cloud slashes, but yet again, it had no effect. Any damage he dealt was cancelled out by the weird substance that made up his body.

"You... must... die. You... ruined... my... chances... of... immortality!" Severed could barely articulate his words and his voice was deeper than mother nature's anus.

"Ohhh. This transformation of yours isn't permanent. Is a certain principal going to die after turning into a big slimy bitch? It is quite the tragedic tale." Raikou jeered him into attacking.

He had an idea that may work. The body of Severed isn't normal and may be considered magical, so there was a method for him to fight this enigma.

Severed let off another bolt of darkness, but Raikou dodged and closed the distance. He activated void and cut him into half once again.

Thinking it was over, he sat down and was about to see how much xp he gained, but a rumbling sound made him get back up.

Looking over, Severed was regenerating, albeit at a significantly slower pace than before. Void worked, but not well enough. His mastery of the skill wasn't good enough.

"I know!" He couldn't suddenly breakthrough in his mastery like a novel character, but he had another idea. Pulling out 5 metal containers from his inventory, he used his void on the regenerating principal again and forced the cut pieces into the containers.

Ding! Inventory can not take in living objects.

He was disappointed to see that he couldn't store the containers, so he had to fasten a satchel out of some cloth to put the containers into. They weren't that big, as the goo was compressed into each container, which made the total space taken up to be quite low.

"Let's see how big you act now. The mighty principal of the prestigious Albion Academy is now a 5 times separated gooey piece of imprisoned shit." Pleased with his idea, he dug through all the rubble and went to look for Ghost.

It was unfortunate that he couldn't get the S rank skill reward right now, but he knew that once the mastery of Void reaches small perfection, he would be able to cash out on the prize.

Ghost was sat on a chair surrounded by pieces of debris that had fallen from their fight and was waiting for him.

"Did you kill him?"

"No. It was some weird type of bodily subtance that I couldn't finish off." Pointing at the satchel, he said, "This is my current solution. I can store the pieces of his body until I can destroy him."

Ghost laughed at the peculiar situation and punched a hole into the wall behind them.

"Well that's one way of leaving the principal's quarters." Raikou exclaimed.
