82 Unfamiliar Territory

They flew for a while before finally coming into the vicinity of the Ferus Continent. The area below them was like a huge forest. It spanned on for as far as the eye could see, which included Raikou's all-hearing eyes. This displayed how vast this forest truly was.

Malakas dove down into the forest and landed gracefully. He was getting the hang of flying after being locked up for a long time. All his movements were much smoother than before.

Green invaded every part of their senses. Seeing so much of it at once was overwhelming. It wasn't like the average forest, as the colours were much more vibrant.

"Am I colourblind now? All I can see is green... I don't like it." Ghost complained.

"It's going to be quite inconvenient for Malakas to move around in this forest with that huge body of his. Ghost, give him your transformation mask." Raikou explained the usages of the mask to Malakas.

He put it on and his body gradually got smaller until it reached a size similar to Raikou's.

"I feel puny." An annoyed expression covered his face as he looked down at his body.

"Let's explore this place and see whether we can find the overlord of this forest. Our information on the Ferus Continent is limited, so finding any beast that has a vast amount of knowledge would be good right now." Satella was taking charge, as she knew these 2 wouldn't have much of a clue and Malakas was in captivity for a long time, so he gets some slack.

They all followed her, but avoided killing any beast unless attacked first. It would be a bad idea to agitate the inhabitants of the forest by killing indiscriminately.

"Hissssssss. Whats ares yous doings ins thiss forests humanssss?" A serpent slithered towards them with a questioning gaze.

"We're new to this continent and this was the first inhabited place we came across. I was hoping to find someone that could give us some information to help us out." Raikou replied for the group.

"Ohs, Issss canssss helpssss youssss withssss informationssss." The serpent perked up at the request of information, as if it was excited to converse with them.

Raikou felt nervous. He didn't want information from someone he could barely understand.

He transmitted his voice to Ghost, "Hey, I'm going to say something, so please just play along."

Looking at the serpent, he thought something up and replied, "Can you take us to someone else for information. My friend here is deathly afraid of serpents, so it would be very difficult for us to sit here and listen to your voi... you speak with such a big intimidation factor for my friend." He looked over to see Ghost cowering behind Malakas' body while sweating profusely. Raikou was impressed with how real the fear looked.

"Sksksksksks, ussss serpentsss aresss asss scaryssss bunchssss." The serpent's pride went through the roof at the mention of being intimidating.

It slithered away and signalled for them to follow.

Wiggling up a tree, it began hopping from tree to tree. They followed in suit, but something looked out of place. Raikou had both of his arms behind him while he ran, unlike the others.

"I can finally take part in the might Naruto tree running technique." He smiled to himself as he thought about his favourite anime in the past.

They hopped for a while before the serpent came to a halt.

"Thisss issss thesss placessss yousss wantsss tosss gossss ifssss youssss needssss anythingssss." It had stopped infront of a huge tree. It dwarfed the other trees in comparison significantly.

A door was situated at the base of the trunk, which they knocked on and waited for a response.

"Who is it?!" A huge roar sounded out as a loud beating sound was heard.

Raikou opened the door to see a huge gorilla beating his chest and hopping up and down.

"What is up with the inhabitants of this forest? We should call this the 'ganja forest.' That sounds about right." Seeing the behaviour of the gorilla was amusing, but it seriously made them consider the sanity of the beasts within the forest. Even the serpent moved about in a manner unlike others of the same species.

"We are travellers that have just arrived on this continent. The serpent outside directed us here and said that you would be able to provide us with some information on the continent." Satella was the first to speak.

The gorilla looked at her and smiled. His chest opened up and a smaller ape popped out.

It seems the gorilla was actually a gibbon. The aura part of the species may have something to do with what they were seeing at first.

The gibbon's eyes were filled with lust. "I can give you information. I am the most knowledgable beast within this forest, but everything comes for a price. You see... I haven't tasted a human before." Qwing was drooling as he began watching towards Satella.

Raikou could feel the anger boiling inside him, but it quickly changed into fear.

Qwing had walked past Satella and was currently standing in front of him.

"So. What do you say?" His donger was in full glory as he swung it about and looked at him.

"What the fuck!" Raikou clenched his butthole and ran.
