Raikou woke up feeling completely rejuvenated from the day before.

"The effects of the fiendgod body refining method are really quite good, this is some abnormal recovery rate!" He smiled and opened the system. "System! I need some skills, do you have any idea of what I can do?"

"For now, your only two options are the quest menu or to find a place that stores skills in this city. They both have their benefits; The quest menu will give you high quality skills usually not from this world, whereas you could get lucky and find a incomplete high level manual in city skill areas."

"That is the MC way. Finding an incomplete manual that people think is trash and then get my system to fix it!" He smiled mischievously

"Right! Before looking for a place in the city, do you have any quests available for me. I made the mistake of not checking them before, while hunting."

"You have two available quests right now!"

He looked at the quest panel and his eyes widened.

Quest: Tell a random girl that she looks beautiful, stare into her eyes for 10 seconds and then run away.

Reward: +500xp

Bonus Objective: Find a girl walking with her boyfriend/husband. +500xp

Quest: Kill your first human

Reward: +1000xp

Penalty: -500xp if you target an innocent individual.

He got up and started screaming into thin air "What kind of shitty quests have you given me! The first one is just asking for trouble, you seem to want me to cross paths with an arrogant young master. The second one is just twisted, you're going to reward me for murdering someone!"

"If it's any consolation, you get more xp for crossing an 'arrogant young master'."

He glared at the wall "Right now, I would give you a glare, but you don't have a body. Instead take this glare towards the wall and KISS MY ASS!"

The system just ignored him and continued "The killing quest is something I chose. I feel that you're kind of fearful of fighting humans after your mother was killed by those goons."

Raikou froze. He had tried to suppress that memory to stay strong in this new world. It was to painful to think about for him.

He whispered "Why would you bring that up?"

"What do you mean? I'm just trying to be helpful."

Raikou started muttering to himself incoherently and then fainted onto the bed.

Ghost had spent this whole time silently watching the commotion, but got up at the sight of his master fainting.

"I could hear what you two were talking about. I didn't understand all of it, but the part of his mother's death really stood out. Do you not understand that family is a sore subject to bring for any being, let alone a 15 year old boy."

"I'm not exactly an expert on human emotion, but I can see a pit in his heart that is being suppressed. I set that quest to help him get stronger, the memory of what happened was something that he has been suppressing and it will hinder him. Imagine he was in a confrontation and it came back to him in that moment, would you rather him breakdown now or in the middle of a fight?"

Ghost went silent. He had no retort, he knew the 'system' was right.

Ghost just sighed and slumped back into his resting position "Well for now, we're going to have to wait for him to wake back up."

The system replied "It's probably going to be a while. He may seem quite upbeat, but he has lived a difficult few lives."

Ghost just nodded. He was used to hearing peculiar things from his two new companions. A system, quests, multiple lives. These are all things he is numb to now.

"What kind of crazy companions have I found exactly. I am interested to see his journey, a man that can hide his emotions like that is a force to be reckoned with. Even I was deceived by his upbeat exterior and I am connected to him through a lifeblood contract..." Ghost thought.

A day passed in this manner before Raikou finally got up.

Description: When little Raikou gets angry, he goes berserk. Hehe.

Raikou looked at the skill. It looked quite useful in a last ditch attempt situation. He was not in the mood to argue with the system over the description.

His head was hurting and throbbing, he looked in the mirror and his eyes were bloodshot. His clothes were completely wet and smelled like salt.

"Did I cry myself to sleep?" He whispered to himself.

"I really do miss her. We only spent two years together, but they were the two best years of my life. Why did I ruin it..."

He looked up and screamed "How could I have been so stupid! Why did I have to be so lenient and let them men go. Never again, I will never be lenient with my enemies again!"

"It seems he has finally got a grasp on reality. Even I am scared to see the kind of mischief he will be up to in the future." Ghost thought to himself after seeing Raikou's mental state stabilise.

Raikou cleaned himself and left the hotel with a wolf at his side.

"Time to turn this world upside down." He smirked while posing like a ginyu force member.
