51 Onwards To Albion!

The next day...

"Time to go be Hames Bond!" Raikou got out of bed and put his clothes on in a stylish spylike movie manner.

He left the room and made his way to the castle. The guards let him in with no problems and directed him to the main hall.

There, sat on the throne, was Maria. She gave him a half smile and got up. "Are you ready?"

"How exactly are you planning on getting me to a different continent instantly?" He was curious, because something like that seemed extremely overpowered.

"Come to my private room and I will show you."

He followed her to the room to see an old elven man seated waiting for them. Elves have a significantly longer lifepspan compared to humans, so for him to look this old was a testament to how ancient he truly was.

"This is Ignatius Grondelvald. One of the best spatial mages of the current world. He is a close friend of mine and will be aiding us in your teleportation today."

Raikou inspected him.

Name: Ignatius Grondelvald

Cultivation: Rank 6 9th Level | Age: 8,498

Species: Elf

His eyes widened upon seeing Ignatius' age. Curiosity got the better of him and he decided to check Maria's age too.

Maria | Age: 7,982

"What the fuck! How does she look so young?"

"Well, her daughter is specialised in light magic, so she is probably of the same variety. It is considered the element linked with life, so it's no surprise that she looks young. On top of that, elves are more attuned with life than others. To be fair, most ancient kingdom species are highly attuned to life energy." The system explained.

"Good thing Satella is of similar age to me. Otherwise that would be scary." Raikou exclaimed.

"Heh. Why does her age have any significance to you?" The system questioned.

Raikou coughed and changed the subject. "This is some nice weather we're having."

"We're inside." The system would let go of the topic.

"..."

"So, let's get on with this." Raikou wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. Both people in front of him could one shot him, so he wanted out.

"Spatial magic is difficult to work with. Even a master like myself has to take a minute or two just to teleport one individual." A smooth, but ancient voice replied.

"His voice is softer than I expected. Fuck that, isn't he quite useless for someone who's one of the 'best' at spatial magic. It takes him that long to teleport one person." Raikou thought.

A minute later, Ignatius was finally done. A huge purple portal was floating in front of him.

"Step through this and you will be sent to a place within 10miles of the academy. A less experienced person wouldn't be able to pinpoint with such accuracy." Raikou could hear the pride from Ignatius' voice.

"Big deal, you old bag... I'll be doing shit better than you in no time." His thoughts kept aiming at discrediting anything these people did. He felt like a prisoner of sorts, and was unhappy with his stay in this territory.

"Be careful, the turbulence will make you have some terrible side effects when you come out of the other side."

Raikou nodded and stepped in.

His whole body felt like it was being compressed and swirled about.

Within moments, he was thrown out of the other side onto the ground.

"I don't feel anything dodgy at all."

Ding! Spatial affinity upgraded from mid to high!

"You're affinity allowed you to come out unscathed."

Raikou listened to the system's explanation and laughed. He got an affinity improvement from the journey at the very least.

"Let's go and play spy!"

--

"Ok, HOW?! I ran for hours in this direction and the connection suddenly disappeared!" Ghost was extremely worried upon losing connection with Raikou.

He stopped and sat on the floor to gather his thoughts.

The next moment, he felt the connection get stronger and point in a different direction.

"Seems he teleported somehow. Scared me for no reason. It was a good use of improving my agility though."

Ghost got up and began running in the new direction. The connection was much stronger this time and he felt like he would be able to transmit messages to Raikou soon enough.

People that saw him running thought he was crazy. A huge scruffy man running for no apparent reason was quite the sight for those who saw it.

One woman covered her son's eyes when he ran past her. "Don't look at those crazy people. They may get an interest in you." She whispered in her son's ears as they scurried away.

"I don't know why they're looking at me like that..." Ghost was quite annoyed by the stares he was getting, but he didn't stop running unless he needed to.

Ghost didn't realise that the way he ran and how he looked was significantly different from how the average human moved. He was still used to his beast body, where people would find it normal for wolves to be running as part of their travels.

The running was convenient as it allowed him to train and travel at the same time, so he continued doing it.

"I can't wait to reach him and then shove my new foot up his ass." Ghost was determined to reach as soon as possible.

Raikou sneezed again. "My popularity is on the rise once again..."

(A/N: I'm probably going to end most chapters with a sneeze till they re-unite.)
