74 Obtaining The Haldir

Stumbling out of the building, Raikou was met by a sight of hundreds of students and teachers waiting outside for the result. It was a pretty stupid idea, because him losing would just get them killed if they waited out here. Luckily for them, he didn't lose.

Looking at the eyes filled with admiration and appreciation, he felt a sense of pride well up within him. Saving people was something that he did instinctively, even though he thought he wouldn't behave like a shonen character. The crowd being devoid of any casualties put a smile on his face.

"Thank you! Thank you for saving us." A female student rushed up to him and pulled him in for a tight hug. Her breasts squished against his chest and made him blush.

Scratching his head, he slowly pried her off him and replied, "It is all in a day's work."

"What, no quirky response this time? Is the virgin boy getting shy?" Ghost transmitted his voice into Raikou's head.

"Fuck off!" Raikou shouted in response. The girl jumped back in fright and ran away. The gazes filled with admiration were now mixed with some confusion and shock. He swore at one of the people he saved for no reason.

"Sorry, I wasn't talking to you." He was inwardly furious at Ghost for making him look like a fool, but couldn't do anything right now in case of looking crazier in the eyes of the students.

Raikou decided to leave before anything else happens.

"Atleast the name of the Black Armed Shura will spread further now." There was always a silver lining to a situation.

The sound of a horse galloping in the distance somehow reached Raikou's ears.

"Hmmm, that's weird..."

--

They were nearly out of the city when Raikou suddenly remembered what Maria had sent him for. All these battles had made him forget the original reason he was in Albion for.

"Shit! I forgot to get the Haldir." If he remembered correctly, the Haldir was stored somewhere in the principal's building, which was currently completely in ruins.

"...Now this is going to be difficult." Thinking about the arduous task ahead made him tear up.

He turned around and returned to the academy.

Walking through the main gate, the atmosphere within the academy was different from what he thought it would be. They had only been away for under an hour, but the streets of the academy were back to bustling. The thick miasma that spread through the academy had slowly dissipated and it was like nothing bad had every happened.

He walked past all the commotion and went to the principal's building. To his relief, there was still one place that hadn't been changed, as if to cover up what had occurred. The rubble was still in place and reminded everyone of the battle.

He got close to the building, when suddenly, his body stopped. It was like he had walked into a wall of marshmallow. Inspecting the invisible barrier, he saw that it had been placed up by the teachers of the academy.

"A silly barrier won't stop me." He coated his fist in void and slammed it into the invisible barrier. The fist bounced off the barrier and it was still intact.

"Void is starting to lose its effect as I get stronger. Stronger enemies and spells require a higher mastery of the skill." He mused.

Going back, he went to find a teacher that could help him.

One of the teachers he saved was talking to a student next to the assembly hall. His name was Pimpom.

"Hey Pimpom, I need your help." Turning around, the teacher saw Raikou and immediately ran over. Ever since his capturing of the principal, everyone began to treat him with overwhelming respect.

"What can I do for you?" He eagerly waited for Raikou's response.

"I need you to let me back into Severed's building. Why have you put up a barrier anyway?"

The teacher beamed as he replied, "We put the barrier up to avoid anyone wandering in, as we don't know if there is any lingering miasma that could cause problems. Follow me and I can let you in."

Raikou followed him and saw the teacher cast a single spell, which opened up a 'doorway' for him to enter through.

Walking in, he thought, " That easy? I am a universal cultivator now, so maybe I should learn some spells to use with my close range combat. Putting the change from swordsman to cultivator to use for once."

Using his sword, he swept through all the rubble, but there wasn't a haldir in sight. Enlisting Ghost's help, they both went and checked every nook and cranny of the building.

After one hour, Raikou sighed and sat down. "Where the fuck is this shitty Haldir. I can't find it!"

Ghost also gave up and sat down. He had a spherical object in his hand that he was throwing around while relaxing.

"Where did you get that from?" Raikou asked, with his patience teetering on the edge.

"It was in a glass case that I found while looking for that Haldir thing." He replied while continuing throwing the sphere around.

Rushing up to him, Raikou snatched it out of his hand and inspected it.

Name: Haldir

Quality: Heavenly 9th Grade

Effect: Allows the user to see through the eyes of a specific target.

The effects were shocking. It allowed him to see through anyone's eyes, no matter where they were.

"Show me, Satella." The orb spinned around before dropping back to his hand to show a girl looking in a mirror while putting her clothes on.

Ghost salivated, "Who is that? She is far, far better than the woman I did in the red light district."

Raikou slapped him and shouted, "That's Satella! Keep your eyes off her."

He reluctantly deactivated the orb after seeing her figure in white, cotton lingerie. If he continued to look, his nose may have bled.

Returning back to his senses, he lifted his leg and kicked Ghost. "You fucking idiot! This is what we have been looking for and you were just casually playing with it. Why not tell me that you found it!"

Ghost looked like he was wronged. "You didn't tell me what the Haldir looked like, so how was I supposed to know that this was it."

Looking at the face that was about to burst from anger, Ghost stepped back. "Is your IQ that low? What exactly were you looking for if you didn't know what it looked like?"

Ghost shamelessly smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
