57 Mandingeroo

Raikou was highly curious on the origin of that suppressive aura. He was currently alone and did not have to worry about anyone dying, so he wanted to check it out.

It didn't seem to be moving, so he didn't feel like it wouldn't be much of an issue to check it out.

(A/N: A stupid idea to check it out, but we need to see what it is!)

He walked towards the direction it was coming from. The closer he got, the stronger the feeling of being suppressed was. His bones felt like they were being weighed down and the aura made it feel like the gravity was being multiplied significantly.

Raikou turned around and tried to walk away. "Fuck this shit, it's not worth it!"

"Stop!" He froze in place upon hearing those words. The words were spoken in a gruff, imposing manner.

Turning around, his eyes widened. A huge 100 metre being was staring at him. It's body was as black as charcoal. Along the charcoal body were deep markings with a lava-like feel to them. The being's eyes were red and peered into his soul.

"You boy! Come here!" It's voice was filled with an awe inspiring might that was hard to oppose.

Of course, Raikou loves to oppose. He turned around sheepishly and replied, "Sir, I need to take a piss. I will come back to you in a bit." His legs wouldn't move as he tried to run.

"Stop playing games. I feel a sense of familiarity when I look at you."

"Sir, both of my parents are both human and I haven't played around with any giants. How about this, there are many other people here that may be able to offer their ass... ahem their services to you instead."

The being realised that he was being misunderstood. "Hmph. What would a great being like me want with your body in 'that' way. You are cultivating a skill created by my species, that is what made me call out to you."

Raikou furrowed his brows and looked at the giant. He didn't understand what skill he could have cultivated that linked him to such a monstrosity. He inspected him to see what the giant was on about.

Name: Mandingeroo

Cultivation: ???

Species: True Fiendgod

"A real fiendgod! He's huge, but the novels make them 1000's of kilometres tall. I always thought that was overkill and I am right. 100 metres is enough to make me piss my pants!" It was the first time seeing a being of such a unique species.

He had previously encountered Moses, but he was not pure like this. This was a true fiendgod!

The fiendgod body refining method was something inspired from a novel he had read, but it brought him links to beings within Epsilon. He had never thought there would be such a wide scope of species on Epsilon. There didn't seem to be a fixed setting for this world like the novels.

He had first assumed this would be a world filled with dragons, elves, knights etc. However, he just encountered a species that wouldn't fit that scheme in a novel.

Clearing his thoughts, he looked up and asked, "So, what is it that you want from me?"

"I am trapped in this dimension, but that is not something you can deal with right now. I want you to find someone of the same species as me. I need their blood to free myself from this prison." He could hear the rage within the fiendgod's voice.

Raikou had a feeling that the fiendgod was all talk and no show. It was clear that the fiendgod could release it's aura at most, and anything more would be impossible in that prison it was in. He couldn't physically see what the fiendgod was imprisoned by, but it wasn't able to move, so it must be something.

"What will I get out of it." He smiled playfully and jumped about. The aura suppression's effects had lessened on him, as he was able to quickly adapt with his body.

The fiendgod noticed that Raikou wasn't fearful of him any longer. He sighed, "So you noticed... I can not move. I will give you some of my blood if you do this for me. Make a tribunal oath first and then I will give it to you."

Raikou smiled. In the novels, a powerhouse's blood was highly beneficial to the MC. On the other hand, he hadn't heard of oaths of that kind before.

"I agree with your terms, but how are you going to give me your blood if you can't even move. It's not like I can cut through that shit! Also, explain what a tribunal oath is to me. Of course, I do know what it is, but it had slipped my mind." He shamelessly asked.

The fiendgod was controlling it's rage towards Raikou and explained, "Make a cut on your hand. When the blood drips, you must make a vow to the heavens to uphold your promise to me."

It seemed legitimate to him, so he did as the fiendgod said.

Ding! Tribunal Oath detected.

Continue, Yes/No?

The system was dormant, but somehow he was still receiving prompts such as this. It confused him, but he ignored it for now. He continued with the oath.

The fiendgod saw him go through with it and withdrew his aura. Upon withdrawing his aura, Raikou was able to see the reality of the situation.

The fiendgod was hiding his current predicament with a powerful illusion, which could not even be seen through with his observation. The current sight filled Raikou with pity. The mighty body was reduced to an emaciated form of it's previous self. The thick body now looked like a 100 metre tree in the winter, when all it's branches had withered.

Blood was dripping down the fiendgod's whole body. There was a pool of dried blood at his feet. It had reached his knees and had created a barricade of sorts around him.

"How long has he been here to have this much blood leave his body. How is he even alive?" Raikou thought.

He proceeded forward and tried to take a handful of blood. The moment he came into contact with those intentions, the sky began to darken and thunderclouds formed.

"Oh shit!" He stopped himself and took one drop. The skies cleared up and the thunderclouds disappeared.

The drop was placed in his mouth and dissolved on his tongue. His body began heating up and he spasmed on the ground.

After 5 minutes of excruciating pain, he received the notification.

Fiendgod Blood Ingested! +20 Strength +20 Agility +20 Toughness.

"Amazing! Fucking amazing!" If one drop could do this, then imagine the whole thing! Of course, he knew he couldn't get it, so he suppressed his greed.

He bid farewell to the fiendgod. The fiendgod had no worries that he would renege on the deal, as the heavens would penetrate him if he did.

--

"I'm coming for you Raikou!" Ghost ran like a crazy person with saliva going everywhere as he screamed.

(A/N: There's a spider. Ghost only gets a line. Spiders are scary.)

--

Raikou sneezed.

"Oh beautiful fans, I just suffered through a terrible ordeal. Your remembrances are the light at the end of the tunnel."
