6 Cultivation
After getting my bearings for the world socially, I decided to learn more about the cultivation of the world.
The previous host doesn't have much knowledge of the cultivation system other than that it is ranked from 1 to 9 (with 9 sublevels within each rank) and that you need the core of a beast corresponding to the rank you are trying to level up too. (e.g. Rank two beast core to become a rank two cultivator.)
There's also a class system with the main three classes being a warrior, archer and mage. Skill mastery is separated into 5 levels; Initial, Small Perfection, Great Perfection, Absolution (Edit) and Transcendence. (A/N: Information dump, sorry...)
There's no other information in this brain of mine. Seems I need to go and learn, something I didn't do in my past life.
"Master, you're cultivation will be done in a different method of normal humans. You just need to absorb energy from your surroundings to breakthrough. XP can be gained from killing others to advance within your rank, but the bottleneck to the next level can only be broken through the absorbing of energy and other rare occurrences. Of course, you are welcome to absorb beast cores if you want to have an impure foundation when breaking through."
Raikou smiled after hearing the system. "Good to know, seems you are able to convey information without being a bitch."
"Hehe, the only bitch here is you."
"At this point, i'm just going to tell you to kiss my ass when I hear your bullshit."
"As you wish master"
"..." If the system had a face Raikou would've already punched him in it.
Raikou got into the lotus position, similar to how cultivators sat to cultivate in the novels and tried to absorb the energy from his surroundings. To his amazement, the energy was being absorbed at a much faster pace compared to that of his past life.
"Seems these godly meridians are not just for show!" he exclaimed.
After continuing to absorb energy for 5 minutes he heard a "Ding"

It seems there was a mission to do with breaking through, Raikou was too excited to cultivate and forgot to check the other features of the system. He was wondering why the cultivating method sounded so generic.
"Master, these are all unique cultivating methods compiled from the novels you have read and have been named as such." (A/N: The names will probably not be accurate most of the time, just pretend the novels he read are different from ours)
Raikou was stunned. His system is so COOL. "I'm sorry for underestimating you, system-kun" He exclaimed with anime-like hearts for eyes.
He opened up the system to see more than the system had even told him. Along with the original 2 tabs, there were 3 new ones. Theres now an inventory for the system, the mentioned talents and quest page. He opened up the skills page and inspected his reward.

Levelling up gives +4 Strength +6 Agility +6 Toughness .
"FUCK YEAH. ...Oh wait. System, how do I cultivate this. I was more of a skim reader when it came to the cultivating parts of novels." He scratched his head and said sheepishly.
"Luckily for you, the system has seen your idiocy from your last life and has listed the requirements for all main methods of cultivating."
"...Thanks, i guess."
He inspected the skill again and information regarding it's cultivation just entered his brain.
"It seems the cultivating of this method is simple but tedious, it requires alot of energy just to reach the initial level."
"Hey system, if I am getting these stats per level up, what is the benefits of increasing the mastery of the skill?"
"The skill will further refine your body on every realm of mastery giving you a permanent boost of stats on each breakthrough. Rank 1 of cultivation in this world is considered the body strengthening stage, all fights are conducted with the body and no proper skills are usable till Rank 2."
Raikou looked up to the skies and laughed "So with this skill my foundation will be stronger than everyone elses!"

Mastery: None.
Raikou understood how important it is to be strong, leading him to immediately begin cultivating it.
6 hours later...
Congratulations for reaching the initial level in the Fiendgod Body Refining Method.
Ding! Strength increased by 4. Ding! Agility increased by 6. Ding! Toughness increased by 8
Raikou felt his body go through some shocking changes, his height has increased from 1.79m to 1.9m.
"Weird... How do I even know how tall I am. WAIT! I was so entranced by the system from the moment I came into this world, I forgot to get a hold of my surroundings. Need a mirror to see what I look like now. AHHH, always doing some dumb shit."
Raikou was trying to be cool when he entered Epsilon and refrained from looking around as it would be a 'cliche' move of a reincarnated person entering a new world, wasn't really a clever move...
When he had entered the world, his body was next to a river and he spent this whole time facing it. He got up and looked at his reflection to see an absolute stranger looking back at him.
"I'm still not used to looking different from my original life. When I first reincarnated, it was in a child's body. This prevented me from seeing how much my appearance would be different as a grown man. WHAT'S EVEN WORSE IS THAT MY CURRENT BODY IS SEXIER THAN MY ORIGINAL ONE. Ah well, it is MY body now..."
His new body was similar in having shoulder length black hair loosely tied up. That was the only similarity though. The eyes looking back at him were like emeralds, his body was extremely toned with muscles popping out in all the right places.
"I look like I should be 'Sealing the Heavens' instead of playing around in Epsilon within this body..." He muttered. (A/N: Meng Hao had long black tied up hair, no other resemblance.)
"The previous host is quite impressive. He was able to have such a body while living in poverty, granted my body cultivation method did put the icing on the cake."
