Ghost was still in the lot, but there were positives to it. While they were flying down, he could see the two other creatures walking out with an ecstatic expression on their faces. Well, he assumed it was an ecstatic expression, as their faces didn't exactly fit the norm.

The Pegasus' face had returned to its previous prideful expression as it flew away without another word. The Griffin waited for him to land and smacked its wings together.

"Is that meant to mean something?" He asked.

"That is our way of saying thank you." The Griffin replied before flying away.

"Wait!" Ghost came running out, shouting to no avail. He had freed them, because he wanted his mount, but they flew away without another word.

Getting off the Minoka, he looked at Dosho and asked, "Can you set up a lifeblood contract for him. I can't have him dropping me from the sky suddenly."

Dosho nodded his head and a notification rung out in his head.

Ding! Initiate Lifeblood Contract with Malakas (Minoka)?

"Malakas, if you want to travel with me, you will need to fulfill a lifeblood contract. Ghost here has done it too, and it will bring you nothing but benefits." He tried to persuade the Minoka.

Malakas nodded his head, "You seem like someone trustworthy. I hope I don't regret this in the future."

"That was way easier than I thought it would be..." Raikou thought.

He made an incision on his palm and did the same on Malakas' body. The easiest place to draw blood on his steel-like body was the soft part below the chin. Bringing his palm to Malakas' chin, he waited for the duality to do the hard part.

Raikou was pleased with the stats of his new mount. Its toughness was astonishingly high and was even higher than his. It had broken through from the contract and was now a 8th level saint.

Looking over at Malakas, he could see him shaking.

"Why are you shaking?"

"I haven't broken through in centuries! I even cultivated while being locked up, but the chains stopped any advancements occurring." He ran around in circles while screeching.

Raikou smiled at his actions. "We need you to take us to the continent of the Ancients. I will direct you on where to go once we're there."

Malakas nodded and they got on.

"This is fucking uncomfortable!" Ghost complained as he felt the metal below poking him in the ass.

"I can make parts of my body softer." Malakas softened the areas they were setting at and took flight.

The link with Satella let him know the exact location of the Odelschwanck territory, so there was no need to ask for directions or anything of the like.

"Maria, I hope you have kept your ass warm for me. It is going to get a good kicking to!"

The wind blowing onto his face while they were flying was exhilarating. Even after all the strength gains he had acquired, nothing came close to this feeling.

This is true sovereignity.

To look down from above like a master of all.

"How are you not exceedingly arrogant after being able to experience such a feeling whenever you want?" Raikou was starting to feel like a sovereign, but he came back to reality. There were many people stronger than him in the world, and he couldn't grow complacent in his adventures.

Malakas sighed, "At one point, I was so arrogant that even I couldn't contain it. My bloodline descends from that of the legendary Minokawa, that were said to be so big that they could cover the sun. That arrogance was what got me caught. Within captivity, my personality slowly changed, as I understood that there is always a mountain taller than the other."

Raikou was enlightened. He wasn't the only one with his head in the clouds.

"Guys... I can feel a breakthrough coming." Ghost suddenly opened his eyes from his meditation.

"Finally, a normal breakthrough in which we won't be teetering on the verge of death." Raikou muttered as he saw the energy slowly increase and surround Ghost's body.

The energy was extremely abundant for someone at the expert level and it even rivalled that of a peak elder level cultivator.

In time, everyone connected to Raikou would be heaven defyingly powerful, but it all started with him and Ghost.

Description: A bloodline ability obtained by Ghost after breaking through. Allows user to change their form indefinitely with no side effects. A smaller transformation will make the body stronger and quicker. A bigger transformation will make the body tougher and well, bigger of course.

"Fuck yes!" Ghost shouted upon seeing the skill. The skill transmitted directly into his mind and the effects were mindblowing. He could finally change his form without any external instruments and there would be no side effects. His human transformation using the mask left him with a rough and ugly face, which only smoothed out with cultivating.

Now he could transform into anything and gain stat bonuses with it.

Raikou tapped him on the shoulder to pull him out of his trance.

"We're nearly there."
