52 Another Royal Academy...

It was time to join another royal academy...

Raikou wasn't looking forward to it, as he would lose the freedom of doing what he wants. The Birminfram Academy had him doing tedious things like the wind element classes he had taken. He didn't want to be put through such torture again.

He asked around to find out his specific location of landing and was also given directions to the Albion Academy. According to what he heard, the recruitment was pretty simple compared to the Birminfram one, which was peculiar, as it is of higher status.

Walking towards the academy, he could sense a similar majestic feeling from the academy, just like he had felt from the Odelschwanck territory. The buildings were all made out of obsidian, which was a stark contrast to the last academy he had attended. It gave off a more overwhelming feeling compared to any other place he had seen.

"So this is what it feels like to be in contact with the upper echelon of Epsilon." He sighed and felt smaller than normal.

His mortality was screaming out to him, as he took in the fact that most of the teachers and above are strong enough to view him like an insect. Though it didn't knock his confidence, as he understood that his potential wasn't one that the rest of the world could match up to.

"My badassery is unmatched. Even Maria and Ignatius will be my bitches in no time!" Raikou smiled and walked towards the entrance. People were gathered outside in the thousands, all hoping for a chance to enter the prestigious academy.

The selection was much simpler, but harder to complete compared to the Birminfram royal academy. All that was needed was a minimum of B rank talent and atleast higher level affinity in one element.

"Isn't the affinity requirement very low?"

"Not really. If you saw in your academy, most people barely exceeded high affinity, even if they did have multiple elements." The system explained.

"This time we will increase the levels of my potential and let's alter the affinities abit."

He put the transformation mask on and transformed into a white haired short boy with a stern look on his face. "Heh, I'm Hitsugaia from Sodium Hypochlorite." Satisfied with his look, he got in line and waited for everyone to be done.

Once it came to his turn, he placed his hand on the potential stone and willed the talent to be displayed as A rank. He wasn't sure what the highest rank talent within the academy was, and didn't want to draw too much attention with S rank talent. B rank would also look suspicious as high cultivation was currently being displayed as Rank 3 7th level.

The stony faced elder in charge of potential had a smile on his face upon seeing Raikou's talent. It seemed that most people today had failed the tests and one success was something to be celebrated, even more so when the success was higher than the minimum set requirement.

"You're a talented boy. If you can pass the next test, you will be sent through to the academy and become a dragon!" The elder patted him on his back with some force towards the affinity test.

Raikou rolled his eyes at the elder's boasting of his own academy. "What the fuck is a dragon compared to me!" He thought.

Compared to the potential test, the line for the affinity test had 2 people. One of which was testing right now, so there would only be one in a minute or two.

The one being tested turned around in disappointment. He had 2 elements, both high in affinity, which was insufficient. The girl that went after him got 2 elements, one was highest and one was mid. Her face brightened, as she was ushered through the gates into the academy.

"Here goes nothing..." He placed his hand on the stone and poured his energy in.

He willed the stone to only display 4 elements. Three normal elements and one special element. He picked water, wind and earth for his normal elements, and displayed them all at highest affinity. For his special element, he picked light and showed a high affinity.

Light was an element that he began growing an interest in after Satella healed him. He was impressed with the usage and wanted to be adept in it to protect him and his companions.

The affinity stone elder gave the same reaction as the potential one and personally walked him through the entrance.

"Here goes nothing... for the second time." He sighed and entered the academy.

--

Ghost was currently sitting next to a tree with a lamb leg in his mouth. After spending time with Raikou, he had grown some human tendencies and was able to adapt to human life more effectively. He would usually eat meat raw (A/N: I couldn't help it. lololol.), but had cooked in on a fire this time. The taste of cooked meat was better than that of raw meat, so he had no qualms with behaving like a human in this regard.

This wasn't to say that all beasts were savages, but he was a low ranked wolf and didn't have any avenues to be luxurious in at the time.

After eating, he got up and started running once again.

None stop running. Running and more running.

"I can't wait to get to him and beat the shit out of him!" He had a malevolent expression on his face under the hood as he ran with all his might.

"Bastard Raikou, I'm coming for you."

--

Raikou sneezed. "What is this sudden influx of popularity. Maybe I should kick less ass, so people admire me less. Sneezing this much is making me fill like I'm coming down with something."

His words were different from his thoughts, as he was overjoyed with the popularity increase he had received.
