CHAPTER 22 - NOT STEALING LOBSTERS ANYMORE.

" Alright....that's enough for today. But Nate, you still haven't told me how you achieved that..." Arthur said looking at Nate with narrowed eyes.

" Well...honestly, I have no idea how I did that. I just know that I followed what Lucian said and when it wasn't working, I didn't want to give up just yet. And then something tripped...and that was it..." Nate responded with a shrug.

" Lucian said something??.. Lucian, what did you tell him?" Arthur asked, his curiosity peaked now.

"oooh, it's something I learned from an old friend about how to focus on a particular thing. I put it to use and told Nate to try too..."

Lucian answered hoping he wouldn't ask who that old friend is.

"Aah, I see...looks like you already know a lot. Training you two would not be difficult as long as you work together as you did today..." Arthur said nodding his head

"Are you hearing??..little god, you need to assist this great ancestor in everything. Together we can accomplish anything..." Nate said with a wide grin on his face

"Yhh...you mean together we can steal old fisher's lobsters. Forget it, am not helping you..." Lucian saw through his speech.

"...."

Nate was speechless. Didn't we just talk about working together....if it's not working together to steal those lobsters, where were they supposed to work together at?? He couldn't steal those lobsters alone....that old man was too stingy to share those lobsters and he wouldn't sell them either. The only option was stealing.

"Ooh, so you're the reason that old man has been going berserk, simply because of the loss of his lobsters...."

"I used to think he was crazy, turns out he wasn't. His lobsters had truly been going missing..." Arthur spoke with a burst of laughter.

"....."

Lucian dropped his head in shame. It was all because of Nate. What could you do when you had a glutton as a friend... And he was so good at telling when the old man had arrived with those lobsters without seeing it. What kind of ability was that??? Judging from his enthusiasm, fresh lobsters had arrived...

"Hey little god am telling you...you can't turn righteous today. We've been eating those lobsters together!" Nate said and pouted.

"....." Lucian could only glare at this pig head.

Arthur chuckled.

" Alright, that's enough for today... You need to be here early tomorrow. We'll be training to improve your stamina, I see Nate is lacking in this aspect...and Lucian you were still out of breath, so you also need to improve. Without good stamina, fighting is useless no matter how skilled you are. Ok...see you both tomorrow, be here before I arrive..." Arthur said and departed.

Lucian unpacked the food Liz had prepared for them and handed one to Nate who didn't waste time taking a morsel. It had already turned cold, but they didn't mind.

"After this, we are heading straight home. We are not stealing those lobsters again..." Lucian said firmly.

"Huh...little god, you...you can't do that. It's not fair, how am I supposed to live without my darling lobsters??..." Nate argued, his speech slightly muffled due to the large amounts of food in his mouth.

"..."

His darling lobsters???? Lucian rolled his eyes and munched on his food. He couldn't be bothered with Nate at all.

Nate sat down with his mouth full and pouting at the same time. He looked so grieved as if his whole world had crumbled. Why was little god suddenly acting righteous?? Was he not going to have his lobsters again??.. Sigh...now that he thought about it too, those lobsters tasted better when you stole them...

On the palace field, Andrew was still organizing the troops for the search. His handsome face still looked so fatigued with indifference written all over it.

"Your Highness, I think you should have some rest, you have been working so hard lately..."

A young man of the same age as Andrew in a knight uniform spoke from behind. He sounded genuinely worried. The prince was going to get sick if he kept on pushing this hard...

" John... I need to find my sister. Besides we only have one last town to search...Valley town, is it? I learned Gary lives in that town and knows every corner of it. Let him lead us tomorrow..." Andrew said, his indifferent face had a tinge of determination in it.

John sighed..." what if we find her there, will you report to..."

"Shhh... There's someone here..." Andrew narrowed his eyes and turned around. He swiftly threw his sword against the rock behind him, but the person reacted fast and escaped into the bushes.

John looked so shocked, he wanted to go after the stranger but was stopped by Andrew.

" You couldn't even sense his aura, do you think you can catch him???" Andrew asked squinting his eyes at him.

"l... It was a lapse on my side. He hid his aura well. Am...am not as good as you. I apologize." John spoke with a face full of shame. He had not sensed the stranger at all.

Andrew went and retrieved his sword. Honestly, he wasn't blaming his knight. The guy hid his aura quite well, he wouldn't have been able to sense it if he didn't use to train with that guy who only knew to hide his aura every time. The advantage was that this stranger was not half as good as him. Thinking about him, he wondered where he was now. He still couldn't understand how their friendship got broken. That year, he lost a sister and a true friend.

" Your Highness, do you know who it was?" John asked. Just now the guy moved so fast, he didn't get to have a good look at him.

"Am not sure, but he must be working for my father. The King is smart, but he's forgetting am his son..." he said with creased brows. This had increased his skepticisms more. His father was hiding something.

" From henceforth, don't just spout anything...and any news of my sister during our search tomorrow, must be reported to me..." Arthur commanded and walked out of the field, not waiting for a response.

" Yes, your Highness..." John responded anyway though the other party was already gone.
