It was the first time Alyssa was looking around her. She was in a cabin in the woods. It was or is somebody's abandoned house. Alyssa was placed or more like bound to the chair placed in the living room of the cabin. In front of her view, to the slightly left of the front door was an open kitchen, where the fridge and other necessary items were kept.

To her right, there was a single bedroom. Maybe it belonged to the owner of the house.

Alyssa then focused her attention on Jacob and saw him chopping some vegetables, he was probably making some food for himself in the kitchen.

Alyssa looked outside the only window present in the living room present on Alyssa's backside. It was a bit dark outside. If she has to guess the time then it would be probably around six or seven in the evening. She sighed.

She was thinking of the ways to escape from here when the front door opened with a bang, startling both Jacob and her.
