96 Rescue 2

Alyssa once again searched for the room for anything heavy which can be used to break the lock tying Jacob. She felt fortunate that the soldiers were currently distracted from the sudden ambush.

But she found nothing. Suddenly she was reminded of the gun that she have. She took the gun from her hospital's gown and used it's hilt to break the lock that was tying Jacob's hands.

She moved to break the lock tying Jacob's feet when suddenly the door of the room opened.

Both Alyssa and Jacob froze. Slowly they turned towards the door to find Dr Evans standing there with his assistant.

He had a gun in his hand which was pointed to Alyssa.

"Now, now sweetheart, I couldn't let my prized possession to run away, can we?"

He said pointing the gun.

"Well, I am pretty sure that you wouldn't shoot me," Alyssa remarked.
