97 Is this what death feels like?

"I think you are wrong here. I am the one holding the gun sweetheart." Alyssa said waving the gun in front of her.

Britany chuckled and soon her chuckles turned into laughter which echoed through the walls of the sewer.

"I will not kill you, dear. But they will."

She then pulled out the flashlight from her pockets and flashed it on the walls of the sewer.

Alyssa could see red-colored tendrils spread all across the wall. Black colored liquid kind of substance was dropping out from it.

Alyssa was at loss. 'What was Britany trying to show her?' Then she saw a faint movement from one of those tendrils.

'This thing is alive!' Alyssa screamed in her head. 'But what does Britany mean?'

Looking at Alyssa's lost expression, Britany frowned and said, "Look closely."
