19 X Dynasty~Unexpected Arrival (Alternative title: Who's Who?)

Princess Nana's POV

It's now dusk! Finally, I can have my rest after the long day!

Being a Princess is a truly tough endeavor. Taking off to court, dealing with the dispute ministers, learning calligraphy, practicing manners of being an Empress, and many more practices and rituals. It is my everyday routine for over half a year now so I am used to it.....

But I still miss him.....I sighed, 'I wish I could enjoy the sceneries together with him.' I again looked at the scenery before me disappointedly.

Currently, I am walking down on the garden of Princess' Pavilion—I moved here on the day that I got doubtful of the father emperor [note: father emepror, she means the emperor].

I'm still making an effort to unravel Yuki's case, not that I yearn to intrude at Prince's businesses. But I guess I have to get justice for Yuki, she was precisely just a victim.

"Hey Yuu, can you get me scented water? I have to take a cozy bath before working again." I turn around, requesting my maid here in the palace; which I discovered that her name was Yuu in a delightful manner, careful not to scare her. Somehow I felt like she was as responsible as Hina, so Yuu and I became close since the day that she started serving me.

"Replying to the Princess, I will take my leave to bring some rose oils for you immediately. Rose oils are now out of stock on Princess' Pavilion." She responded rapidly. Without another statement, she walked away so fast to fetch me rose oils.

I proceeded to take a stroll on the garden, wondering if my peonies are in bloom; it's presently late spring after all.

As I walk into the garden, I discovered something weird on the ground. To take a closer glimpse at it, I crouched down for a while and inspected it.

'Huh? Why does this part of soil feel like it was freshly dug up?' I touched the soil and I confirmed to myself that my beliefs are accurate.

I wish to investigate it furthermore to see what is buried here.I looked around first to make sure no one can see it, there are some guards and maids nearby.

I lied to them so that they will get off from this area. I instructed them that I prefer to have a solo time in the Princess' Pavilion garden and they instantly went away without imploring further questions. Of course, they won't ask me why because I am their madam here after all.

Before my time runs out, I gouge it carefully. I can see that there is something hidden in there.

Successfully, I took out a piece of paper. 'Huh, a piece of paper?' I stared at the paper skeptically, there are words jotted down here, the only word I can read there was 'meet'.

I wish to take a further glance at it, but then I heard someone was shouting "Princess, the warm bath is waiting for you! Hurry up or else it will get cold!" I can see the black-haired Yuu moving towards me, waving her right hand cheerfully.

I don't want Yuu to notice this, I must hide this from her.

'But where should I hide it?'

'Ah, in my sleeves.'

I slipped the paper on my sleeves and used my shoes to place back the soil that I dug up.

"Okay, I am coming!" I yelled and walk back to my place.

"Princess, let me undress you," Yuu said taking off my clothes as soon as we reached the bathroom. But then I interrupted her, I recalled that the paper was on my sleeve. "I'm good, I can do it independently. Just stand outside and guard me, okay?"

I started removing my clothes, taking extra precautions to not plunge the paper into the water. Then eventually, I am on my inner robe now. I can take a bath now.

Slowly, I sit down on a tub that is full of delicate rose petals and water with rose oil.

This is the most prosperous bath! It's so invigorating! I am right from the start, after a long day I deserved a nice bath!

After minutes of soaking, I asked Yuu to provide me a nightgown which she gave to me promptly.

Then after I wear the nightgown, I grabbed the paper again. Assuming that I will read that before going to sleep.

I came out of the bath and Yuu let me sit down in front of my wooden make up vanity and she dried my hair.

Minutes have passed and seems like she already finished drying my hair.

"I'll take my departure now Princess, I am sorry that the Prince can't accompany you right now. Good night." She then shut the door closed, not creating any noises.

"Good night..." I trailed off.

Since the night that the Prince opened up to me, that was the last time that we spend time together. But that wasn't my problem at all, I assume he needs time for himself too. Declared that he doesn't wish to take over his father's status as an Emperor.

I shut my eyes but then I recalled the paper. I dug into my nightgown and my hand eventually reached it.

I opened it to see what is jotted down here. But then it stunned me. The writing says,

'Dear Princess,

It's been half a year since you are wedded to Prince Ruka. Are you satisfied now? If so, I won't interfere in your life anymore. But if you still haven't forgotten me, please meet me at your hidden tunnel in Princess Pavilion's garden--I mean Your Grace's garden. I already found a way. I am sorry that I can't accomplish this during the early days.

Unknown'

I froze. This handwriting.....after half a year, I saw it again!

I cried silently, it's still elegant like his handwriting before, the handwriting of a royal family!

Staring at it lovingly, I heard somebody muttered something to me "Good to see you, Princess."

I nearly freaked out but then I saw the face of the person, he is.....
