Six Years Later
Many years have passed and they are still hanging out with each other; Kai who always sneak out at their home and Nana who always use the excuse that she have to train herself. It is in their daily routine,to meet each other at the mountainside.
Nana is now 18 years old and Kai just turned 21 years yesterday. In the past six years, they spent their time hanging out with each other.
None of them realize it, but they develop feelings for each other. But no one wants to confess. It's because they thought that if they ever confess,they will be rejected and might ruin their friendship.
Matsuri's POV
I am peeking at my big brother's room,he is just sitting in his bed and doing nothing, he look like a frozen food over there.
Honestly, I don't know what happened to him but when father asked him if he is dating someone or when does he plan to get married, he didn't say anything. He just went to his room,staring blankly at the space, not eating properly, and always blushing whenever father bring the topic about marriage.
Kai's POV
I've been thinking if I should confess to Nana or not, I fell in love with her just after our few meet ups.
'Yes I am head over heels in love with her but I couldn't do anything or even confess to her, how pathetic. But what if she will reject me after I confess to her? It might ruin our friendship. Fuck to the no! I won't ruin our friendship just for my stupid puppy love!'
I noticed the time, it's already past 9 in the morning. If I won't get ready now I will be late!
I fixed my bed and take a bath. I ready myself for today, I am going to meet Nana again. But let me tell you, I won't confess to her. What if she doesn't like me back? Our friendship will go into nothing. I'll just hang out with her, I am contented with this for now.
Nana's POV
I wake up early today 'cause I can't sleep well last night. I've been thinking if I'll confess to Kai or not. If I ever confess to him and he doesn't like me back,it might cause our friendship.
'Que Sera Sera Nana, just focus on your training today and don't mind your own puppy love. Kai doesn't like you back.' I thought to myself.
With that, I started to get ready for today. I will be meeting Kai again today.
"Wow that's first time." I turned around from where I heared the voice. The voice was from my 26-year-old brother Haji.
"Yeah big bro it's first time." My 23-year-old brother Sho also commented.
"I just couldn't sleep properly last night,big bros. It isn't a big deal." I shrugged off like it's nothing.
"Thinking about boys?" Big bro Sho said. "Ohh what's his name?" Big bro Haji asked while raising his eyebrow with questioning look, interested in this
topic.
"I TOLD YOU IT ISN'T A BIG DEAL!" I shouted at them. My face started to heat up,meaning I am starting to blush. I quickly run away to the dining hall to avoid further questions and to prevent them from seeing my blushing face.
'Gosh what the hell happened to me, every time they talk about that topic I start thinking of Kai and start blushing. Nana please stop your own puppy love,you have no chance.'
But even if I discourage myself, I still have the urge to confess to him and hoping that someday we could be together.
I will be his bride and he will be my groom who love each other dearly.That every morning the first thing I see when I open my eyes was his face. Every night, we will sleep beside each other and cuddle every second. That everyday, we will be able to see each other's warm smile. That every millisecond, we are contented with each other's accompany.
But moving on, I start to eat my breakfast that Hina served to me while ago.
Finishing my breakfast, I quickly head out of the dining hall. Starting to walk away again and go to the mountainside.
Kai's POV
I head out of our house, I told Mom and Dad that I have to do something important in the mountainside again so they let me go.
I started to walk away,hoping Nana will be there again.

Kai just reached the moutainside with Nana at the other side of the mountainside,who just reached the mountainside too.
They are 2 meters away with each other.
1 meter.........
50 centimeters........
25 centimeters......
20 centimeters......
They stopped walking closer to each other.
"Hey Nana you look beautiful today"
"W-wh-what?! Y-you idiot this is now my everyday outfit!" Nana said, surprised by the sudden compliment.
'What a weird guy.....' Nana thought.

Kai's POV
'Shit that accidentally came out of my mouth!' I shouted mentally.
"Sorry I noticed just now, I love your outfit. You are now wearing a beautiful hakama. But I love you more than your outfit." I replied and laugh nervously.
She began to blush as red as the ripe tomatoes in our farm. Then I eventually realized what I just said.
'Seriously again?! I should punish myself later for that, uhhh I hate myself for that!'
"Ahh hahaha I said you have to train now and I have to do something here." I stated nervously.
She shrug it off like it was nothing. She didn't talk to me and started her training.
While me, standing here doing nothing. Imagining my future with her. Even if I am not sure if she loves me back.
'I'll be your loving groom and you'll be my lovely wife.That every morning the first thing I see when I open my eyes was your beautiful face. Every night, we will sleep beside each other and cuddle every second. That everyday, we will be able to see each other's smile. That every millisecond of our life we will be contented with each other. Even if I am just a son of a farmer who watched you everytime you--Kai! Stop that thoughts! Nana will never love you back, he doesn't like the son of a farmer! Just get back to work and stop daydreaming!'
I started to came back to reality and eventually started my work here. As I move to my next destination, I suddenly heared a voice so I came back to check Nana if she is okay.
Nana's POV
'What did I just hear a while ago? Kai thought that I am beautiful?' I thought while training with the sword I got as a birthday present to my father. Yes I am now training how to use sword.
I replay the scenes in my mind while training the jump and hop part of the sword combat, '"Sorry I noticed just now, I love your outfit. You are now wearing a beautiful hakama. But I love you more than your outfit." He replied and laugh nervously. Wait what? He love me?'
As I plan to land at the ground, I lose focus and balance, thinking what does he mean. I slowly started to fall.
"--Ahhhhh" I shouted in a high-pitched tone, it will be a bad fall for me.
I am now just a few inches at the ground when suddenly someone catch me.
But he eventually lose balance too, so we ended up at the ground.
I remember this scene, it happened six years ago.
After the fall, I started to sit up and walk away; forgetting about my training just to prevent Kai seeing my blushing face.
~At Nana's place~
"Your grace you are ear--" I didn't let Hina finish her statement,I just go straight to my room and cover my blushing face with my blanket. If what I heared was right,then I have the courage to confess now.
Hina's POV
What's wrong with lady Nana? Did I see her blushing as red as the tomatoes from the garden or it is just my imagination? Weird, but anyway I have to get back to work and forget what I saw or imagined today.
Kai's POV
~On his way home~
'That's weird,she just left after that scene...' I thought while walking on my way home.
'I clearly saw her blushing face,does that mean she like me back? Maybe? Should I confess to her tomorrow?' While thinking, I didn't noticed that I am now at our backyard.
"HEY BIG BRO! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! ARE YOU PLANNING TO LIVE WITH OUR COWS AND CHICKENS NOW?!" My 16-year-old little sister Matsuri shouted loudly.
I take a few steps back.
"Oh sorry I didn't notice it."
"You Kai,please pay attention to your surroundings okay?" My mother told me worriedly.
"Yes Mom, I will next time." I grin widely at her. "Oh by the way, here's the wood I collected today." I told them.
"Good,now please rest my son." Dad stated.
"Right away,Dad!"
'I have my decision now! Yeah,I should confess to her tomorrow even if she doesn't like me back! No one will gonna stop me now,not even my status in life!' I thought determinately,my decision is my decision!
