13 X Dynasty~An Old Friend: A Real Friend Or A Foe

Weeks have passed since the marriage event, and the news spread in the whole nation fast like a wildfire.

"What?! The prince of X Dynasty got married over the time I am not here?! Unbelievable! Who's that bitch?!" A 25-year-old lady with long black hair and sharp onyx eyes exclaimed. She is wearing a purple luxury kimono with dark purple flower design as touches of the cloth.

She is Hana Ichisaki, a kind-looking lady but cunning in the inside. She is the miss of the Ichisaki clan, the clan with a flower crest jade hanging in their belt of every heir/heiress. The clan was settled in the opposite location of Hijiri clan and living there for decades. Lady Hana got her looks from her mother and she got her beautiful black hair from her father.

She was always nice to people whenever she planned to either destroy them later or use them in her evil plans. That's why she was sometimes punished by her father, the right Prime Minister of the X Dynasty, Prime Minister Dai Ichisaki.

She loved the prince dearly. But the prince didn't like her, nor even take a little interest on her at all for some personal reasons. Despite of that, she still love the prince, willing to do anything just for her to become his princess. She doesn't care about the benefits of being a princess, she just want the love and attention of the prince on her and only her.

'I-I have to answer honestly, or-or else I-I will be p-punished by the m-miss.' The maid thought.

"T-to answer miss' question, princess Touyama was from the Hijiri clan......Nana Hijiri." The servant finished, more relaxed than before.

"Nana? Why her?!" She asked, frustrated that Nana was the one who holds the title of princess Touyama that she wants even in their younger days.

'I've gotta find a way on how to dethrone her, I won't let her go!'

"Luna! Prepare me! I am going to the Palace right now!" The arrogant lady commanded to her maid.

"Y-Yes Ma'am!" The maid hurriedly walked down the hall to get some water with rose oil for washing Lady Hana's face.

TIMESKIP

~At the palace~

Lady Hana walk to the halls of the palace gracefully, as if she was trying to attract the prince. She is well-known here in the palace because of her father's position in the court.

"Hey mister, where is prince Ruka?" She asked the servant who happened to pass by near her politely.

"I'm sorry Young Lady, but the prince is out, doing some business." The servant answered, then excusing himself.

Lady Hana smiled, it's not a sweet smile....it was a dangerous cunning smile.

Though the prince is out, she continue her way to the palace. She plans to visit the princess who is peacefully settled at the Lily mansion.

'I've gotta visit Nana. I have a big surprise on her. Just you wait Nana, I will replace you one day....'

Just walking for a minute, she already reached the Lily mansion.

"Hello. Is princess the here? I heared that the prince got married. Since the prince and I know each other a long ago, I want to see his princess. Plus, the princess is an old friend of mine. I just want to have a talk to her." She asked the guard at the doors of the mansion.

"Yes Young Lady, she is here. Please come in and I will inform her." He said, moving the doors of the mansion as a permission for letting them in.

Princess Nana's POV

I heard a sudden knock from the door. I lazily got up and opened it.

"Hey what's up?" The laziness was still lingering in my voice.

"Greetings princess, Lady Hana wants to see you. Also, I let them in together with her maid because she said she wants to talk to you and she's an old friend of yours." The guard explained while still kneeling in front of me.

"Stand up now. Please call my maid to get me ready. Thank you." I requested, slightly disinterested in meeting anyone. First of all, why does Hana, who I used to be bestfriend with but hates me now, will visit me?

"Sure princess!" Then he got off.

'And how does she know that I am here?'

My thoughts were interrupted by my maid entering my room to get me ready.

Once finished, I go out to my room and meet Hana.

'She used to tell me that she likes the prince. I am now the wife of the prince. Maybe she will--'

"Greetings princess Nana!" I'm startled by the sudden sweet but noticable little cunning voice from the old friend of mine.

I peeked to the side, I can see that she was low on the ground, paying respect on me.

"H-hey Lady Hana! P-please get up! You don't need to do all of this! I-if you want let's go over there to watch the scenery while having a warm peach tea." I said, pointing at the covered seats near the pond where the pleasant flower of lilies in bloom.

"Sure." She smiled at me.

Okay, it's sweet from the sight of the people who don't know her. But for me, I already knew this kind of smile.

'Seems like she was planning something evil. I have to be careful on her. I am now related to the prince. Anything or anyone related to the prince is dangerous.'

"Your place is beatiful, isn't it? I want to have a place like this too!" She proclaimed, taking a graceful sip on her peach tea.

"Yeah, it's beatiful. If you want it you can--"

"What are you doing here?!" The prince asked, a little bit annoyed. I don't know why but by the looks on his face, he clearly dislikes Hana.

'What a good timing, I can't say what I want to say right now. This idiot is already here. Tsk...'

"Greetings prince! To answer your question, I am here to visit an old friend of mine." She said, bowing down in front of the idio--I mean to the prince.

While bowing, I noticed something. Her kimono is slightly off, showing some of her flesh in her bare chest. From my seat, I can see the half of her chest, showing off while wearing a seductive smile on her face.

"Tsk. Go out! You are not allowed here.....Guards! Take this woman out! She isn't allowed to go here anymore!" The prince exclaimed, disgusted by what he saw.

When Hana was being dragged by the guards, I noticed that the prince was looking at my direction.

'Better pay respect on him, or else....'

"Greetings prince!" I kneeled down.

"Oh my princess, you don't need to all of this. My respect on you is as high as your respect on me. So please, get up." The prince beamed happily, ushering me to get up. His mood lighten up a bit.

I accepted his hand and got up.

He suddenly hug me tightly, as if I am going to leave him.

'Ewww...Yes this is sweet when it is Kai, but kinda feels weird when it is him.'

"P-Prince le-let go." I stuttered, wanting him to let me go.

"Please let me do it. I just need a recharge after that hard work."

"B-but--"

"No buts, my princess." He hushed me.

The maids awed by the scene they are seeing right now. This scene reminds me of Kai....I miss him very much, Kai where are you now, please rescue me already...

Suddenly, I hugged back the prince without noticing it.

"Awww, I hope they will have a baby soon!" The maid beside me exclaimed excitedly.

I am startled over her words and to my actions too. I quickly pulled away on the hug and bowed down.

"I'm sorry prince." I apologized and quickly run to my room.

Upon reaching my room, I flopped down on my bed. That moment keeps on replaying in my head. It's an embarassing scene.

I sighed. 'I have to be more aware on my surroundings or else this will happen again. And also, have to be careful with the future evil plans of Hana on me. I don't think she visited me for taking me back as her best friend, but an enemy for the love and favour of the prince.'
