Chapter 1- pt.2

I sighed, finally relieved that the boring class ended. I was packing up my bags as i saw Lucas rush out in a hurry. Confused, i hanged my bag on my shoulder and headed outside the class.

I headed to the cafeteria to meet Yuna and my other friends. As I ran down the stairs, I tripped and almost fell.

Everyone was looking at me, but continued their work the next moment.

"Why do you have to always embarrass yourself, Jesicca?", I whispered to myself as I moved through the crowd, finally entering the cafeteria.

I scanned the cafeteria, looking at each table in search of Yuna and finally spotted her. She was seated with Yeji and some other friends, Lia and Chaeryoung I assume.

I walked over to her, patting her shoulder as I kept my bag down and occupied the empty chair next to her.

"Hey guys!" I said, as I looked at the cheerful faces, glancing back a smile.

"Hey!" Yuna said, flashing her gummy smile.

"Hey!" Yeji said as she looked over to me.

"Wanna eat something?" Yuna asked me, resting her face on her hand, as she slouched her shoulders and rested onto the table.

"I am not that hungry." I said, leaning back on the chair.

"Okay, whatever you say." Yuna said, putting her head down.

Silence was filled among us as some of them were busy on the phone, while Yuna laid her head down.

"How was class?" I asked her, patting on her shoulder.

"Boring, as always." Yuna said, peeping a bit as we made eye contact.

I giggled at her reply.

I took my water bottle out and gulped down some water, quenching my thirst.

"How was your class?" She asked me, now sitting up straight.

"It was okay I guess." I continued "well I'm trying to pay more attention you know, I don't wanna get low grades this time or else." I stopped.

I looked into nothingness, as the smile on my face dropped, remembering the last time I got bad grades.

"Stop", Jesicca cried as tears fell down her face, holding her hand in pain…..
